Take a close look at the forums and the exchanges, watch out for BS rumors and choose what you think is going somewhere, it can be hit and miss, but after some time you will be where you need to be.

Some coins, though, will be hard enough to mine that you will lose a little money each time you rent, so watch what you are doing.

The better option than mining is always buying and trading in new coins, coins on the rise and such.

You have somewhat a point regarding on investing into altcoins and $20 would be enough to start with it because you could possibly make it grow how many times and it depends on what altcoin would you choose to invest on trading because choosing altcoin isnt easy at all because lots of coins are just total waste. Gambling would be possible but it isnt recommended at all. You would put your money to waste. Not worth for the effort you made.

You can use it for alt coin trading. There're some good alt coin for trading. You can do research first before buy it, so you could earn good profit with it.
Or you can use it in gambling, though it's so risky. If you're lucky enough, you could win a lot, but you could also lost all of your money.

I honestly don't know because that amount is so low for whatever investment there is. Even if you get a 100% return from it, it's still not worth the time. The best thing you can do as of now is to just get a job, buy bitcoins on your spare money and leave them be. That's what I did on the past year and I never regretted it.

Lol although it is painful but true what is said to you, I think $ 20 is a very small capital. even if you get a place to double your money you will not get a huge profit, I think the other way is to find a job and get substantial capital to invest in bitcoin

You Can Invest Your 20$ In The Following Ways to Grow Them:-
1) You Can Start Doing Trading With It to Gain Some Profit But Don't Do Trading If You Don't Know Much Information About It.....
2) Or You Can Invest This Money Into Some Revenue Share Or Hybrid PTC Sites.....

Doing trade even with very small capital is ok but investing in Hybrid PTC Sites is very risky they can run any time without any pay better do some work for himself and join trading

What you said is true but OP wants to know that how can he make money from $20 that he already have and I think with that capital he can't do much but he can always try to put them in altcoins.

As far as Bitcoin itself, I would not touch mining. You can rent hash from a few sites where you are actually renting the hash power from another person, but then point that at newer and easier to mine coins and then, if you want, you can convert that into BTC later on or just keep doing it.

If you are starter here in bitcoin i think you need to start in faucets or you invest here an account with a higher rank then participate in signature campaign to maximize your earning then if you have good enough bitcoin you should start trading it will helps more to your earnings.

You also have to account for the money put into maintaining the site. OP has to pay for the domain and hosting service if he wants a blog. I don't think 20$ is enough for that, let alone hiring someone to design the blog for him.

Blog is good idea but its need some long term planing and too much advertising but OP budget is not good enough he can invest in altcoins and can take some profit but first need some research in this field or selling bitcoins on localbitcoins for fiat is also good for him

Just buy again your BTC and have at least $100 or 1 BTC in your wallet and use it for trading you can get lot of profit from there for choose nice and big named coins unless you're risk taker and want to invest it into a dangerous site or riskier method like gambling or Invest in HYIP
