Or maybe even if he does, the account could be set up in such way that any page he visits literally displays dick pics, and tiny ones....to describe him of course. I am pretty sure I read something somewhere saying that theymos blocked access to some scammer's account, and everytime they visited bitcointalk, they'd be redirected to some random black screen or something. Very delusional details, but I know I read it somewhere.

Also as a prank, the same could be applied to Roger Ver's account, wherein if he ever sees bitcointalk, the entire page just shows memes of how bitcoin cash is dead, and how bitcoin is the real bitcoin. Golly would that be an ebic gamer moment.

Craig Wright might like the dick pics though.....

dogs are cute.
Craig Wright should just log into his satoshi account and create a sub board for himself, but until he does that this isn't needed and almost certainly won't happen.

Wouldn't theymos have to unlock the satoshi account, first, before that could possible happen? I guess that means there is no chance at all for this subboard.
If Craig Wright is indeed Satoshi, who created bitcoin, don't ya think it'd be fairly easy for him to get his account unlocked?

If it was Craig Wright, I wouldn't unlock it for him no matter what he proved.  Cheesy

It's within human nature to seek the unknown. Ever heard that the key to attraction is building mystery? This is part of the reason why people, and media are obsessed. Although, I don't tend to follow much of the crypto news these days, and certainly almost always ignore these Satoshi findings I'm still intrigued by why Satoshi disappeared. Although, personally I'd prefer it to remain as it is, I can definitely understand from a media point of view why they are always trying to bring out bogus stories. The good thing for us is it creates headlines for us, and generates exposure which I'm all for.
I think we could all agree that there is no real media source over here, just a awful load of shitposters minding their shitposting business. And most of those shitposters don't even know who satoshi, they probably think he's the dude who created etherium :/

It's only locked until satoshi comes back and signs a message or provides reasonable proof that the account is his. Obviously the real satoshi would be able to do this quite easily so there should be no problem for the real satoshi.

I don't understand the obsession with satoshi - the network has ran without him for the better part of a decade now, which clearly not only demonstrates that what satoshi is doing is completely irrelevant, and if he chooses to have some privacy then so be it; but also reinforces bitcoin's decentralisation.

It makes no sense to be so obsessed with the news with another new person claiming to be satoshi every hour. It simply does not affect the fundamentals of bitcoin, even if he was found.

Most of these threads are filled with garbage anyways. Report, move on, and let it die by itself.

There should be a separate sub-forum for all the topics like these:

Where in the world is Satoshi?
Is Satoshi alive?
Is Satoshi really John Smith?
What if you can have a dinner with Mr Satoshi?

All those topics should be grouped together.

And the section should be called post fillers because its the kind of topics that forum members go to fill in their post requirements for their sig campaign. Just look at your example topics all of them can just be answered with just an opinion or mere speculation on what they believe is happening with Satoshi. The whole section will be filled with worthless post and answers from forum members who aren't really interested in the topic.

I agree with this I suppose. It is just a lot of topics to moderate that nobody gets to.

Did Satoshi use a Dell computer?
Does Satoshi's third cousin live in Delaware?
Is Satoshi alive right now?
I believe hilariousandco trashed a number of useless threads that were only really used for spam. They might be willing to do the same this time, on those threads, if you report the first post.

Any thread that exists so that spammers can subsist upon it should be immediately removed.

There is a useless Satoshi topic on practically every page of the Bitcoin Discussion forum.

What color tshirt did Satoshi wear?
What was Satoshi's IP address?
Does Satoshi drink coffee with cream and sugar?
Report so they can be trashed. Don't move the problem somewhere else: get rid of it directly.

Plus, unless it's making up a significant chunk of each page (and hence the board) it's not worth it. I'd say that if it's not covering more than 30% of the pages on average, then it's not a concern. (or at least big enough to address a prospective sub-board)

Those are all threads of speculative nature, I dont see how they would bring any quality discussions for them to deserve their own sub forum.
I actually thought this thread was about moving everything Satoshi wrote to a new board, which would make more sense even though you can see everything he ever wrote just by checking out his profile.

There are lies, damned lies and statistics. MTwain
The only board I’ve seen where Satoshi (*) is included in the topic heavily is on Bitcoin Discussion. Looking over the first 10 pages of some of the sections, I make it:

Meta: 1 (this one)
Beginners & Help: 2 (one on the unit, one on the charater).
Bitcoin Discussion: 25

(*) The Nature is multiple: Speculative (the majority), historical compilation, subdivision of BTC, colouring books by Satoshi (nom de plume I figure), and so on.

The volume won’t justify a distinct forum level not child board. If any of the related threads are utter nonsense, then they can be reported and perhaps may end up deleted.

Anything more than that and you are already in spam territory if the subject matter is as typical as "will price reach n" or "is satoshi x"
I'd generally agree that the Bitcoin Discussion section is in need of some TLC, but I'm okay with repeated topics as long as they're bringing noteworthy discussion. After all even repeated topics can lead to new insights, and discussions through those that reply. Unfortunately, as you imply the majority of threads over there aren't contributed nothing, but spam posts for users to get their activity up.

eXch.cx - Automatic crypto Swap Exchange.
We already have a subboard for that purpose it's called Off-Topic board. Just do what I do, that's reporting any post I come across having similar title like those you listed above, to be moved there and majority of the time moderators do move them.

Such post only attracts spam/meaningless discussion as they're most time repeated discussion so offtopic is the perfect board for them e.g; Maybe Satoshi created the greatest prize competition

Although, they've been rehashed over, and over again. I still think they were perfectly legitimate questions to begin with, and there was some decent discussion in the older topics. Nowadays these types of threads just invite low quality answers which have been repeated several times over by now. The only thing worth collecting is Satoshi quotes, which I believe we've already got a thread that just does that.
Most threads with good intentions should be locked within the first page.
