I'm not sure how a crypto casino would be affected by this. I'm personally located in Greece. Are these major providers now restricting their games in EU countries too?
On the other hand, when I go in Stake I can see these companies available. So what's going on here?

Of course, they are going to lose a lot of revenues as Europe is a big part of their profit. Maybe it's base on the regulatory licenses that casinos get as well? Or maybe Stake have complied already if there is more stringent regulations by EU?

So I'm thinking that there could be regulations that are country specific as most countries are autonomous in EU. Or they could be following regulations across.

I'll leave people who are resident in the EU to answer your last question. However I would like to comment on some other aspects. I think it is wrong for a game provider to grant permission an unlicenced casino to have access to their games since it is against the law. There are more licenced than unlicenced casino so why risk being on the other side where the laws frowns at when you can still be on the right side and make your money.
Well see the issue here is that for any government's perspective, if they have a national licensing scheme, then licenses most of crypto casinos are under aren't worth anything.

Why would any EU country accept a Curacao or Comoros license that most of these casinos operate under?
But it's worth looking into why big providers aren't making their games available in a big casino like Rainbet which has a Curacao license while the games are still available in Stake which has the same licensing scheme.

I was trying Rainbet today and realized that most gaming providers are completely blocked in the site.

Hacksaw, Nolimit, Pragmatic, Evolution are all restricted and you can't access their games at all. Even if it's slots or even live games, it's all blocked.

If you look on the way of how the recent gambling platforms are operating now, they are having regional restrictions to some certain location on their platform, they have their own reasons for doing that, but when it comes to Europe, i don't know if the entire countries are facing the same issue or only the selection regions there in Europe.

Why is that? I read recently that Evolution games was threatened with disciplinary action by UK authorities for allowing their games to be played by punters in the UK and especially by unlicensed casinos.

We don't know of this same applies to other region or UK only, but i want to believe each everyone of them are having their own reason for such restrictions.

It's even possible Evolution gaming could lose its license in the UK due to this reason. However the fact of even losing unlicensed casinos is going to hurt their revenue massively and already the company's stock has been falling.
