I think this thread is a good example of why to not trust just anyone who wants to sell you inside info or even tips. Most people will not share tips or inside info and why should they? So you must ask yourself why someone is sharing that info.

So over the years I have been betting college basketball almost exclusively.  I don’t mess with any other sports other than a random parlay when I want some action.

So with that, if 10+ years betting cbb daily, I have gained a lot of sources.

Well one person texted me about a game tomorrow and thag I should bet it because there are a lot of locker room problems. “Bet it and bet it huge” was the exact quote.  Locker room problems and tons of travel were the biggest problems.

I will be maxing out all my accounts

The dilemma I’m running into is whether I should share the wealth.

If you were in my shoes, would you post it?
Since we are talking about insider information that could be considered illegal in some places then I think you better not share it, if the wrong person finds out you may end in jail for some time by doing that kind of thing, that has happened before so be careful.

That is a good point to bring up. People won't want to be known for have leaked something that could get them in legal trouble.

Isn't the prize going to be shared by all the winners? Of course if most people follow suit and ypu all win wpuldn't your prize be a bit dmaller since you have other people to divide it with? For me i'd rather just keep it to myself. I'd just treat my friends with the loot.

True but that is only if you betting enough to make a difference to the pot.

I would not advertise any match I know if might be fixed. This is because a huge movement of money will flow towards such match and might raise concerns on the watchdog authorities. Investigations will hence take place and problems will arise, not only for the mentioned match but also for other matches. Better to keep it low level.

Honestly if it were me? I'd keep it to myself. I don't know when it comes to gambling, i tend to be discreet whenever i get high percentage tips like these or probably share with just a few friends and not post it for everyone

Nothing is ever 100% in gambling and I hope everyone realizes that

big yes!

I agree as well, even if OP had some insider info that info could not have affected the team or, like what happened, completely put them off their game. Luckily, OP's tip came true and was indeed favorable to his bet, hence he won. It could have resulted pretty ugly and he could have lost all of his money on that one bet. I guess the old saying is practically applicable, "fortune favors the bold". OP has real balls to follow that tip.

if I'm in your shoes I'll keep it secretly since fixed match are always there and if they seen a big bets against from what they originally have chances to change what should happen will be possible, for me that's a real risk that you suppose to keep it on hold so the chance of winning will still remain and
are you ready being blamed just in case the results goes to the other side?
He would really eat lots of blame when the outcome would really be different on what he promised since it is already a fixed match then outcome would really be expected and if i do have those kind of informations i would rather keep it for myself but if you are a greedy type of person you can actually sell those valuable informations and if not then just give it for free if that thing do make you happy.

I would rather be cautious about accepting any inside info from any person. There are certain reasons for this. The person who is leaking such info - why would they do that if they can use that info as an edge over other players and make a huge profit? They can simply keep their secrets to themselves.

No one likes to share their trade secrets to others without any hidden motif. In this case the person who has texted the OP might be willing to get some commission from the players in the college.

However I am strictly against this type of inside info because in my opinion it ruins the nature of the game.

I agree when engaging to an unknown kind of plot better to stay out but if you are interested with it then do it with caution it is simply not just a game because it might be a fixed game so then can sure profit or that person just said that so they can get your attention there are many motif that can happen if a game is fixed and we just need to take it in consideration that it might become ugly in the end.

It’s nice that you shared it but I haven’t verified it that it actually won. I hope that the tipster would get a tip if they really won. It’s not bad to do that but you would still feel uneasy because the tip was from someone you don’t know. But if it’s okay, then it’s nice to have that. If ever I know some insider tip, I would definitely share it

Buy The F*cking Dip
Well, helping others would be great so I think, I will post it here. But just to be on the safe side, it would be best if you will put a disclaimer that this is still not a 100-percent-win bet. You can provide details that you maxed out your bet for this specific game because of the reliable source that you have but anything can still happen and you could lose this bet. What you can do is share your slip and let others decide for themselves if they'll gonna tail you or not.

Plot twist, your tips was fake and you lost all the money you maxed out on all of your accounts. Good thing you won that.

Honestly, if this is legitimate and reliable, then go and bet on it, but generally it is still not a 100% chance you will win on it. Probably the other team has a far worse problem than the team you are looking at and they lose because of it. Generally, this is still gambling and there is still that element of luck that you cannot alter. What you got there was not actually an inside info but more of a factor that any gambler should actually be looking at. It's not all about player stats.

I was late in action on checking out the gambling discussion section. Quarrels do really affect the whole team and you have a nice insider out there and if that will  be the factors that your insider will give theres no match fixing. You have a nice shot for maxing with this game.

Here’s the thread I made for it:

The game is TCU-24

Nebraska Omaha teammates have been fighting constantly after the Louisville game

The team is split.. not getting along and they are mentally and physically exhausted from the constant travel they’ve had to do since the season began.

It’s not pretty and once they fall behind, you will see a lot of quit in this team.

If you do bet it and it wins, I do think a tip is in order.  If so, tip here:  1DTH7wkn3oZHbb7r1Bm2BRg9GKwZYi4muF

I personally bet close to 0.2 on it

Whether you will share it or not, I am always sceptical about information such as this because there is no way to verify whether you are also betting or what you are sharing could even be the opposite of what you are going to bet on. You know the quality of the information you are sharing but for me, I would rather look at more quantitative factors before relying because locker room problems can get resolved in a matter of minutes before the start of the game and the team spirit will take over. For those trusting understand the risks as you move on.
