This depends on how a person controls himself in the gambling game, if they play recklessly, I think all of that will definitely happen. Not everyone who wins in a row will lose all these profits. It depends on the gambler, if he is good at controlling himself, of course he can enjoy the results of his winnings. If he continues to pursue defeat before it is certain that losses will befall them.

Well, you are not wrong there. Gambling can never be good, especially for those trying to use it as a source of income. That way, it becomes a serious habit and it's never a good thing especially if you are risking your money for it.
Also, it can become a stressful way of life especially if you are losing and can never get t back up again. You will just keep on chasing your losses and as it goes farther it gets more difficult to get back what you had lost.
I think the safest way is just to consider it as a game to pass the time because that's what it was meant for. Enjoy the game and just use the funds that you think you won't get hurt even if you lose it.

You make sound gambling as an illness and a terrible activity to partake in with that post of yours. But in reality, gambling is not as black-and-white as you picture it. It is true that sick people, driven by their addiction to gambling can commit heinous crimes in order to continue to roll dices and spin slots for a while longer, but that does not mean all about gambling is negative and would only lead to bad consequences. I am sure there have been people who are responsible and during their first travel to Las Vegas had much fun in the casinos and then, returned to their homes happy. That kind of tourism is good for cities like Las Vegas. And the people who live off tourism.
It is easy to highlight the evil with comes with gambling, because of the pursue of money, but actually there are other things unrelated to gambling which also cause negative consequences.

Maybe you take up gambling as a pastime but few people like you take up gambling as a pastime. Most gamblers choose gambling not as a pastime but as a source of income. I have learned only one lesson in my life that gambling can never bring anything good in a person's life. It helps in creating social disorder as well as organizing strife and major crimes. A gambler can commit the heinous crimes of kidnapping and woman abuse in addition to theft and robbery to manage his money.

When we see that the rewards in gambling are money, such as winnings, then yes maybe I would also agree with your idea that maybe most people gamble with the intention of making money, because in fact none of us don't need money.

On the other hand, yes, I understand what you mean above, that the best thing is to approach everything based on a neutral or rational point of view and mindset, regardless of what the outcome will be, because from the start someone already knows about various good and bad facts. that can be caused by this activity, then I think there should be no regrets or disappointments whatsoever when it turns out they lost.

And actually it's not a problem to have too many desires, that's good, because these desires will drive or encourage someone to work hard, but if we make gambling the place then clearly that is something else.

i don't know, I think most of the people who gamble do it in the hope of making money but usually the best way is to approach things in a state of dettachment from the outcome

So from many people who playing gambling, only a few people who can wins much money but that doesn't means they can wins more and more. If people still attract because they see some people wins some money, they will only regrets their decision because they lose their money. They will difficult to wins so they don't have to try hard to playing gambling instead just to have fun and spends some money in gambling. They will see their lose becomes bigger if they force themselves to wins and can't see that they don't have a big chance to wins. We admit that gambling is a game of probability and needs luck to wins so not many people can wins in gambling. They better not force themselves by keeps playing gambling especially after they lose some money because that can leads them to gets more losses. Their actions will only gives more impacts to their finances and soon, they will bankrupt and don't have money anymore. Yes, many of us lose money gambling, but there are quite a few professional gamblers in the world who live off gambling alone. Gambling is a zero-sum game and if someone wins, someone must lose. This is the system and if you do not manage to win from time to time, then you need to reconsider your approach to gambling or stop spending your money and time on it, because most likely you are "at the bottom of the food chain" gambling. It's either evolve or remain fodder, as crude as that sounds. There is still a third option is to enjoy the process of gambling despite the losses. Those who are looking for money from gambling certainly hope to get more money. When I place a bet I also hope that my money will come back. But I already understand, some time I made bets for fun. Of course, those who force themselves to win are not waiting for luck to happen, but I think they are chasing uncertain luck. It is clear that gambling will trigger someone to behave greedily in achieving their desires and greedy people are usually caused by a lack of proper self-control and proper understanding in carrying out gambling activities.
And the result of this greed is that gamblers will continue to lose a lot of money because they play uncontrolled, they should have played fairly but instead they play very aggressively in order to achieve their desires.
And if he doesn't want to lose a lot of money, it's better as you said, namely controlling his lust to immediately achieve his desires and being ready to accept the results of the gambling session, namely losing or winning, we must be ready to accept.

Yes it is possible for those who abstain from gambling for a permanent or temporary period after winning a bet in gambling i.e. after receiving a huge amount of profit. But if you don't stop yourself after taking profits or if you repeatedly bet to recover losses from previous bets after losing bets, you are sure to face big losses.
But I don't mean that no one ever gets profit from gambling but rather one gets profit from gambling but also gives loss from gambling. However, this is an exception for those who are experienced gamblers.

So in conclusion, are you trying to say that no one has ever made any tangible money from gambling? I mean, adding all the winnings together, they have not won more than they have lost to gambling. 
 
Well, I do believe that too, but if we check very well, there are a few people who don't gamble regularly, but for the few times that they have placed a bet, they were able to win some tangible amount that they had not really lost a lot of before to gambling. It's an uncommon situation, but it's still possible.
