Yeah, that's the thing, you can win from time to time, but in the end you will lose more than what you win.

That is the only equation of gambling. If you get profit on several bets in a row then be prepared for the last bet as all past profits will be lost on your last bet.
I have learned from gambling that gambling will never give you any profit but if all the profits you had are added and all the losses you have made then the loss will be more.

I understand how you feel about gambling. Winning in gambling can be exciting but it is important not to let that excitement lead to bad decisions like you have made one. Gambling should be done carefully and only with money you can afford to lose. Remember gambling is just for fun not a way to make money. Losing little money can be uncomfortable but it is good reminder to be careful. Gambling responsibly will help us avoid financial and emotional problems. And if you ask me. I think as long as they won those money, risking their own hard-earned cash, they can spend the winnings however they want. We are not here to judge them. Besides, I personally think that money obtained from gambling is not something cursed so that you will never get anything good for you from that. Anyway, won money can be spent on anything, no mater how "valuable" that thing is.
