Some gamblers do, they share their bad experiences in gambling as well but they don't learn from them which is not understandable. When you can see that something is harming you, you should get away from it because it's foolish to let that thing keep harming you while you are not even trying to escape or get away from it. This is how bad gambling addiction is, even when you see the negative consequences, you can't get away from it.

Those who don't share negative things about gambling or let people know how much they are losing or have lost are the ones who believe people might make fun of them because they can't leave gambling, and if they are gambling even after losing so much, people will say they are out of their mind for doing that and they wouldn't be wrong.

Few gamblers don't achieve big on gamble and it's either because they are gambling more to make money or they are addicted. Some gambler have achieved a lot. I don't think I have seen any gambler that have won a bet and used the money to buy something then resell it and use the money to gamble again, but I know there are gamblers like that. Honestly, you are not wrong.
