That's patently untrue, it's a provably fair lottery. They publish the server seed and the MD5 hash of the user list before the lottery and then use a future bitcoin block hash as the client seed. They put that all out in advance on their Twitter feed so you can prove the results yourself.

I think the fact that the first prize this week stands at over BTC2.2 shows that the bitcoin crowd doesn't share your view and the lottery is very successful.

He was probably lucky that he won such a big amount without even giving much time to the site. Because we all know that he must have rolled for just 5 times to get those 10 tickets, or maybe he didn't even do any free rolls but he got those tickets from a referral.

i did not even win the smallest prize having around 30k tickets one week when i deposited some bitcoins just to buy tickets, but it didn't pay off and i did not try that again and now i just use bitcoins from faucet to buy tickets.

I think winners will receive an email from the site saying that they won a lottery and if OP provides a correct email id then he should be knowing that he got a big lottery win.

Winning lottery means one is very lucky. I don't buy lotteries from any other sites but on this site every week I get some free lotteries but never win any price until but still, it is okay to try because not spending my money to buy these tickets.

You are not supposed to stay on the site for all the time until the timer gets finishes to claim the satoshis again. You can simply claim them anytime while working or doing anything else. I do the same. I keep doing other things on my laptop, and when i know i have spent more than an hour already, i open the site, get a free roll and buy lottery tickets with the amount i claimed. In this way, i get to buy around 2k or 3k tickets every week. Though there are very less chances of winning with such a low amount of tickets, but it is never impossible you see. A person won 2+ bitcoins with just 10 tickets. Though it made me jealous if why i wasn't him Grin

but it gives me hope as well that i may win also one time. So i just keep trying, and everyone should.

i think that freebitco.in demands a lot of time, and i used to drain the system a few months ago when i didn't had any money. I claimed satoshis for 3 hours and i got tired, 3 hours claiming for less than 200 satoshis, and a few lottery tickets that didn't gave me anything.
And of course, they give you something that i dont remember the name, but works for boosting your claiming speed i guess, i dont know.
But it is a waste of time.

Its just normal to think off that you would really need to risk big money for you to have more chances on winning.I dont really expect too much on hitting that Freebitco.in lottery since i do know the odds on hitting that one.So i dont really expect at all and besides i dont really play too much on this site because on its high HE.

Probably. I have been using the site from quite a lot of time now, but i even never won a good enough prize from free rolls, lottery is a very far concept. Sometimes, i used to buy some tickets for the lottery round just to try my luck, but it never worked and i never managed to win any prize in it too. I still use the site, and buy lottery tickets with the satoshis i get from free-rolls. Who knows? I may win a prize one day Grin
