Was looking at the bounties section. Are those tokens worth promoting? Will they really be worth something? Why does it take so long before participants are rewarded? Have you made anything from bounties?
The conclusion is in the quote below.
That's the main point, to determine whether the gift is going well or has value.
Quote
Lack of adoption or user interest. A failed crypto project struggles to attract users, gain traction, or achieve significant adoption, resulting in limited usage and value. Lack of utility or real-world applications. A crypto project that cannot provide value and solve real problems won't succeed in a crowded market.

Next thing you need to consider.
Quote
• Review the White Paper.
• Research the Team.
• Learn About the Leadership.
• Get to Know the Community.
• Understand the Technology.
• Understand the Vision.
• Review the Road Map.

After you have confirmed everything above, you just need to wait for the prize from the project you are promoting, whether it will have good value in the market or not be worth anything at all.
A prize project is like opening a business, if your business has a lot of interest, your project will progress and vice versa without any selling point, aka a scam.

A lot of people are talking about the bounties and according to them that a bounties is a great project, because so many people benefits from the bounty by earning big rewards, Some bounties take like three to five months before they can distribute there rewards to every users.

But now the bounty is no more functional like before, because the scammers have took over it that’s why you can see a lot of peoples now didn’t have so much interest to participate on bounty, and so many people have worked for them and they refuse pay out the rewards.

Have You Made Anything from Bounties? The last I made from bounties is actually at the end of 2022 and I earn around 1000 USD and before that I joined multiple bounty some of them are rewarding and the other are just trash and ending up nothing and to be honest there is a lot that didn't payme rather than bounty that really pays me.

Im rarely join the altcoin bounty for now but maybe I'm gonna take a look after a while if I found promising project. But to be honest bitcointalk today is not crowded space like used to be so the bounty is not much like it used too.
I am impressed with the way you express yourself in this bounty discussion. Many people have earned a lot of money from bounties in the past, the money some people will make in one project is more than what they will earn in weekly payment signature campaigns for five months or more because people were making thousands of dollars from bounties in the past. But now, people hardly make $100 from bounties because the alocaions are smaller than it used to be and the participants are much compared to before and the projects are also not jenue as they used to be.
Now, bounties are worthless, they aren't worth our time anymore, and scammers have taken over the bounty space because 75% of the projects are not paying anything, and even if they do, the tokens are worthless, so don't waste your time on bounties now.

Truly, it became much harder to find the gems worth dealing with for ;(

Keep us updated on the project you found! Thanks for the insights and sharing your experience. It became harder, as I understood, to find a worthy bounty (as well as even a worthy project to invest your time in, in general).

its a hit and miss but before you can make profit almost any token since its just getting started but today, mostly you will get nothing from it, if you are looking for bounties you have lots of competition today also , you need to be active, and also do task but don't expect to much, before i can honestly say i earn an amount, but today some are just a few dollars, but hey if you can do more task maybe, but if you really want to earn then you have to double you're efforts money don't just fall on the ground.

you also see when there are many bounties there are also more scams and there are also more greedy people.
Indeed, bounty campaigns have provided an extraordinary attraction for people to join forums with the aim of bounty campaigns.
as you said, some pay, but there are also more that are garbage.
currently, there are still bounty campaigns, not because of the few projects. but bounty managers are also more selective in choosing projects, as well as bounty hunters who will not join carelessly because of the many scam projects.
if many projects launch bounty campaigns but are scams, they will be useless.

You really can't tell until you give a try, unless the bounty is trying to pay you in USDT or other stable coins, if they are trying to pay in their native coins then there are risks attached, some will pay and in the end the tokens will worth almost zero, and few will pay and the tokens will worth something, its left for you to do your own research first before promoting any new crypto projects via this forum.

Also, its better you look for something that really pays, like real passive income, bounties are not to be rely on as a source of making some money, especially if they are altcoin bounties that will pay in their native tokens.

Talking about bounties more helpful for us depend on when question asking, almost all bounty campaign participants earn much money when the bounty era around 2016 to 2020 because most of campaign success when listing on the market.
Allocation reward around 2% to 5% based on coins supply make bounty hunter very interested with reward allocated. But difference if OP question asking right now because many campaign just waste our time only from shit reward when distribution until many campaign of bounties not worth yet how difficult reward sending until reward estimation under $10 for one month campaign duration.

I have checked with board of bounty campaign thread and there are many campaign not interested yet with payment method without using escrow until campaign participants not limited exactly for social media campaign.
You can imagine how much reward receiving with small allocation but participants each campaign more than 3k participants, you only waste your time depend on reward receiving with bounty campaign right now.

I haven't looked at this section for ages. Smiley

Are those tokens worth promoting?
My (only personal) opinion is that these tokens (99.9%) are not worth wasting your time on.

Will they really be worth something?
Very unlikely. The times when you could make money on bounty, in my opinion, are a thing of the past.

Why does it take so long before participants are rewarded?
This question should be addressed to the organizers of the bounty campaigns (bounty manager and the project's team).

I don't know if this has become a modern trend (delays in paying out rewards), but in the past there were no problems with this (as far as I know from observations on selective bounty campaigns).

Have you made anything from bounties?
It seems I got several different candy token wrappers, which, of course, are worth nothing now (as they were then). So, in fact, I wasted my personal time.

I made good amounts back in 2017-2020 from altcoin bounties but nothing much after that, today there is both lack of quantity and quality; you could argue there was quality campaigns even then but at least there was market for tokens with good price in most cases.

For me, I think the time for bounty profitability is way past already, this is because most of the altcoins projects of late are all made up of fake team and who are only after investors funding to run away with it, a d this have resulted into massive rate of scam in the altcoins market, this have a direct impact on the success of altcoins bounties since the mother projects are no longer successful so will the bounty becomes useless.

So in recent time, bounties are not advisable and should be taken same way with gambling, that is, you can lose your money at any point, same for bounty the manager and the project team may promise you high rewards, but at the end you may get nothing, which is why you shouldn't put any hopes on bounty rewards.

I personally have not actually made anything from bounty thou am not hunting but I have friends that are bounty hunters but recently they have been complaining that bounty are no longer paying as it uses to like before where some are making promises and postponement of payments and most times half payment hence I felt discouraged of hunting but however, I might have a change of mind and also give a try and hopefully enough I might get lucky since there is no harm in trying. Bounty are almost having the same issues with airdrops.

I joined this forum fully in 2021, my journey to this forum started by doing the bounty from the very beginning. But before I started doing bounties, I had a few known big brothers who used to get payments of $800 to $900 from almost every campaign.

Seeing their way of earning that amount of money, I myself learned from them and then tried but since then I did not get any significant results. I signed a campaign from Altcoinstalk forum and got paid $900 which was the biggest achievement of my life from any campaign. Then I got paid from the few campaigns I worked on, but I didn't get a big payment. There was a time that was considered the golden age of Bounty (Maybe 2017-2020), but that time is no more.
Most of the projects owners gets greedy after the successful promotion of their projects and the project get listed in exchanges and the price is really good. They won't even agree to pay bounty participants. When the campaign is newly lunched you will hear lots of promises that they will pay promptly on or before listing in exchanges, but the moment they get listed, they will change their mouth and say that bounty participants will kill their project by dumping the price. It is very hard to see a bounty that will even pay $50 to it's participants these days. To me any bought that won't pay in usdt and the funds escrowed by the bounty manager is not worth participating.

This question, which the OP asked, has been popular since 2017, and newbies who always believe in such, one might say, easy income, which happened a long time ago, do not lose hope to this day. I was also caught in this illusion at one time, but after staying and participating for a couple of months and not receiving a penny, I realized that my time is more valuable, and I’m not going to waste it on something unknown. But today’s participation in the bounty amazes me with the number of people who are on the forum more than I, but remaining beginners, and of course (I have no doubt) having dozens of alternative accounts, still believe that one day they will be able to make good money. I see such people mistakenly thinking that they have several lives, and they spend one of theirs on bounties, which very rarely pay well. Being a forum bounty hunter for seven years is just crazy to me.

Take it from a campaign manager, they aren't worth participating in anymore. I stop promoting bounty not because I wasn't getting bounty offers but because of the level of scam in the sector. 99% of the bounty their tokens aren't worth your time promoting them. There was a time when bounties were worth promoting because projects that did bounties had some genuine intentions to do proper marketing but right now, it is mostly the scam projects that rely on bounties because they know they won't pay the participants or probably give them worthless tokens (some project migrate to other Blockchain and refuse to pay hunters when campaigns had ended).

There are better methods big projects use to advertise their tokens, they can use airdrop or employ the service of ads on big media platforms and exchanges. Bounties still pay but you have to try your luck on multiple occasions before getting something worth your time and it would had been a better time well spent if you look for other options to use your time to earn some Bitcoin like through signature promotions and participating in review campaigns.

There was a time it would be the year 2017 when the success rate of bounty projects was very high and at that time almost every project paid. And because those tokens were listed on good exchanges, their value was high. Those who worked in Bounty during that time got huge amount of payment. But at present payment from Bounty is not expected because the tokens of the projects which run Bounty campaign are not available in the market.  Even if something comes, it is listed on low-quality exchanges due to which the token has no value.

Gone are those days when bounties use to be good campaigns you’ll earn well in the forum, but I think it is now a lot of scams in them and some not worth the pays that makes people not to engage in them and despise them so much and prefer to join paid signature campaigns in the forum now. In past bull runs, I read that they were amongst the best campaigns you could join here because so many investors invests in projects without them even knowing in detail the prospect of their projects to come. This days, before an investor put their hard earned money into a project, they’re very sceptical and not put into any project they just come across without knowing the prospects of them. I think the bounty glory days are over, but maybe just I’m wrong they might be some coming through but I don’t see them now. Bounties used to be good campaigns to participate in but not anymore.

I made a lot of money from it in the past.
Those golden days are gone. If you get involved now, it's impossible to make a good amount.
Investors used to easily multiply their investments. I'm not telling a fairy-tale, it happened a lot in the past. It's very true few years back many people made decent profits from doing bounties. Those days are gone, so be careful and take precautions before joining a bounty program.

So how do we know which bounty is real and which is scam? Is there any way to understand it?

I assume that from some basic things you can guess that a bounty campaign is a scam, for example when someone finds that the white paper is plagiarized, or that the team behind everything is completely fake. Therefore, if you want to increase the chances of participating in something where you have a chance to earn something at the end, you should research each campaign - which is certainly not an easy job.

I would recommend that you instead read more posts and learn from more experienced members, and this will eventually result in you getting a place in some sig campaign that pays in BTC.
