Was looking at the bounties section. Are those tokens worth promoting? Will they really be worth something? Why does it take so long before participants are rewarded? Have you made anything from bounties?

You need to be careful about which bounties you join and the quality of the project behind the bounty. Otherwise you are wasting your time and you will not receive any profit in the end...

But with good projects you can make a nice amount of money. Around 100 USD - 1K USD was the norm a few years back. Not so sure about how things are now.

Bounties were very profitable several years back, particularly during the time ICOs were a thing. People would easily make hundreds to thousands of dollars when the tokens got listed in popular exchanges.
Forget about bounties, even useless looking airdrops would easily land you a few thousand dollars if you sold off in time. Today, Bounties are completely useless in my opinion. I think they are just a waste of time.

Yep. Those were the days!
The ICO craze a few years back created a perfect storm for bounty programs with big payouts that seemed too good to be true and  basically, you could score hefty rewards just by doing simple promotional stuff like retweeting a post or writing a quick blog article.  It was a bonanza! But then the crypto winter hit, and most of those bounty opportunities dried up real fast.

But, I dont think bounties themselves are totally useless though.  Maybe its about being more selective now.  Rather than chasing every bounty under the sun, bounty hunters should focus on communities and projects they genuinely believe in for the long haul.  That way they support something meaningful while still getting compensated.  Quality over quantity, right? The key is shifting priorities from quick wins to strategic relationships.

Sure, its not as wildly lucrative as back in 2017.  But if you play it smart and commit to the right networks, bounties can still pay off.  Just require a bit more patience and discernment nowadays.

I was once a bounty hunter, and then people were making some reasonable amount of money from gambling, but seriously, I don’t really think most of the bounties in the bounty section are really worth promoting, most of them are scam tokens, and after promoting some of them, the amount that each participant will be receiving won’t really be encouraging. But some projects might be useless currently, but later in the future, some will have value, and you will be able to make a good amount of money from them.

Will they really be worth something?
I don’t think anyone will be able to answer this question, some projects do surprise lots of people.

Why does it take so long before participants are rewarded?
That’s based on the agreement that the bounty manager has with the team, and some managers don’t pay early because they do take  time to compile the spreadsheet and attend to any complaints.

Have you made anything from bounties?
YES.

If you look at the section recently, you will notice that no reputable manager is bringing any project for promotion this time, which means that most of the projects there are not too legit which is why the were been introduced by average managers.

Bounties are good back then, but it is a waste of effort and time this days because most of the projects are either shitcoins that will never get listed or scam project that might have copied whitepaper of some projects just to get investors to scam; therefore, avoid bounties if you don't want to waste your time.

The reason why bounty participants don't get paid early is because some of them have to wait until the project get listed, while some will have to wait for the team to see outcome of their promotion before making payment.

[So how do we know which bounty is real and which is scam? Is there any way to understand it? Is Maximum Bounty a scam?
Sometimes it can be almost perfect in a way some people will not know. Some can be almost legit but become pump and dump in a way that the amount made will be very low. The risk bounties have is the reason I have not gone for any in the past because I do not want anything that can result to waste effort for me.

Bounties are very good when bounties are still good and very strong many people enjoy them, let me use mine as an example, I earned $200 in a single bounty before and it was a token that was distributed after the token was distributed I made the amount and I liked it, although bounties rewards are being distributed to all the participants after the bounties end and that is what some participants don’t like but according to the rules it is all written that the bounties reward will be distributed at the end of the bounty, you have to be patient in terms of bounties because some bounties will not pay even after you suffer and participate in the bounty, if not now that bounties are not that much again bounties are very good and some pay well that you will be praying for more bounties to come.

Rewards to participants comes with possible promotion and profits stocked. Bounties campaign are vast in numbers but I don't indulged in them because most of them have failed prior to the seasonal changes in the crypto market. It's very complex to deal with bounties but the lucky ones actually make huge profits for themselves at the market launch of a particular pointed projects.

You remind me of my first days on this forum Cry. IDK if you asked this in general or not, but at the moment, it seems difficult to find projects worth promoting there. Why does it take so long to get rewarded? Just an internal project issue, if they had set it up from the start, it shouldn't have taken that long.

Have I made anything from bounties? Yeah, some altcoins were good in their time, one of which was Phore.

There have been several bounties projects ongoing and they've there own potentials and stipulated strategies on how their projects could be liquidated and evaluates the coins values.
It really requires a step to develop a token, so also it takes processes to launched until the coin get listed in the exchange for trades.
So if you participated in any of the bounty projects go on research to satisfy your mind on why your project hasn't rewarded you yet.
Though it could be as a fact of unfinished projects yet or probably you must have run a time wasted projects.
So, always make your research before participating on any free projects.

I joined this forum fully in 2021, my journey to this forum started by doing the bounty from the very beginning. But before I started doing bounties, I had a few known big brothers who used to get payments of $800 to $900 from almost every campaign.

Seeing their way of earning that amount of money, I myself learned from them and then tried but since then I did not get any significant results. I signed a campaign from Altcoinstalk forum and got paid $900 which was the biggest achievement of my life from any campaign. Then I got paid from the few campaigns I worked on, but I didn't get a big payment. There was a time that was considered the golden age of Bounty (Maybe 2017-2020), but that time is no more.

Are you referring before or now?

Since there would be a lot different stories if you try to ask that question here.

Way back before on ICO days year 2017-2019 we are earning pretty good cash came from bounty campaign since lots of project posted their campaigns here are paying. They are good for delivering each rewards to their users.

But 2020 up to the present the bounty scene became shit place for scammers who want to promote their projects for free and there's a lot of project didn't pay their participants and what's worse they are scamming a lot of people. That's why many participants including didn't bother to join in bounty campaign again since it seems everything there is worthless.

I made good amounts back in 2017-2020 from altcoin bounties but nothing much after that, today there is both lack of quantity and quality; you could argue there was quality campaigns even then but at least there was market for tokens with good price in most cases.

I have not actually take time to look at the bounties section. But if you have gone through it, and you see any token worth promotion. You can actually partake in it. I will advise you seize the opportunity and get the reward. It might yield more reward that you can't imagine.

I know someone that told me he made $6000 from a bounty. I saw some that later become profitable. There were many that become useless and no much profit compared to the time spent to promote them on social media. Some are completely scam. I can remember one which was called student coin. It was a scam. People wasted their time and effort.

Bounties are just like how altcoins are. It can be profitable. It may not be profitable. It may turn to scam.

Some on bounties board are signature campaigns but payments in altcoins like USDT. I do not know why those are on bounty board because they are signature campaigns. Payment are in altcoins and can be profitable.

There was a time when bounties were very rewarding. As of today they are waste of time unless you join an USDT bounty. I checked thier are a few signature campaign that are offering upto $20 USDT a week. You can give them a try after going through the rules and regulations. $80 is a good amount as an earning in a month without much efforts.
