Im a bit dismayed by this month's performance. While yes its usual for bad months, the sportsbook has repeatedly lost large sums. Infact, according to the spreadsheet has lost CBTC nearly $16,000. I would highly suggest looking into selling off the sportsbook section or closing it down. While I understand its important to offer a "complete package" to gamblers, the cost its coming at doesn't justify it. I will be holding my shares, but not adding any additional shares to my portfolio until the sportsbook is sorted out one way or another.

Keep up the hard work!

Did you not read the report? It was mentioned numerous times that as of June the sportsbook is now being handled by a third party and covering all risk, while only taking 25% profit. That is a far cry from how we are doing now. Not sure how you missed that part...

I did read the report. They were still losing BTC after the switch if I am not mistaken. Im not bashing them, the gambling sector is expected to have losses. Im just saying as an investor, that watching a unit of this business lose consistently is a bit unnerving. Im glad its being outsourced to a 3rd party. Hopefully next months report is brighter.

It says the switch is to take effect as of June(this month), while the report was for last month.

CasinoBitco.in - Can you confirm that this means that we should no longer see any negatives under sportsbook from now on?

I don't actually bet on sports - so I am just wondering... Previously we were known for having some of the best odds available, is this still true? How have our odds, vigs and anything else we offer to the customer changed due to this switchover?

Mr_e is correct - as our sportsbook is now technically with a 3rd party - we're not assuming any of that risk anymore (or rather we have very limited as some sports like UFC for example we will continue to support in our legacy platform). But overall 90%+ of our sportsbook volume will be with a 3rd party, and that's been the case as of a few days ago.

The May Report has been posted on Havelock Investments: https://www.havelockinvestments.com/reportdownload.php?id=97

To steal from the document - Today we posted our May 2014 results - marking a full year of operations! We’re proud to reach this milestone, and thank our investors and Havelock Investments for the important part they’ve played in our expansion and on-going development.

As you know we suffered some negative variance early in the month on both the Sportsbook and PeerBet side. Fortunately results began to normalize again towards the second half of the month, making up some of the lost ground, but not enough to be in the black for the month - so there is no dividend to report in May

While this is an unfortunate part of the business we hope to avoid in the future - we feel we’ve taken the appropriate action to avoid these types of results in the future by our latest strategic change regarding our sportsbook which has been the main culprit that hampers our overall positive Casino revenue.  The results of going to a third-party sportsbook provider are twofold - good for the operation, by drastically limiting our risk while still leaving significant upside (we’ve joined a form of a “liquidity pool” for lines, which will be dynamic based on the projections and current bet volume of our third-party), and also good for our players, as this will enable us to offer “smart limits” with player profiling, ultimately resulting in far more betting options and house vigor.

Stocks really taking a beating these days... I hope things are looking a little more positive for the end of month report!

Looking at it in USD terms the Market Cap is still $1.47M USD, again imo Gambling is a USD based oppurtunity for BTC, and if you look at CBTC's report - https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B2SWZWkGJ1V3UEo0Q0lESk5nd0k&usp=sharing - the week ending is always USD based.

The stock is taking hits because the price of BTC is rising in USD, and will continue to do so throughout time - imo CBTC stock is a hedge against BTC price dropping in USD.

Is it not true that a rising btc price means more adoption, more users, more media attention... more gamblers? Does a rising tide not carry all boats?

The price was higher in Nov/Dec when btc was  in it's bubble, 2x it's value now...

All numbers posted have left the building, they were verified as valid winnings.

So is the -13 btc paid out or is it in review?

And apologies for my previous outburst... I woke up hung over from a fairly upsetting evening and I shouldn't have posted in that state. I know you guys are working hard, keep it up!

Amen!

To most Bit777 and Peerbet user's dissatisfaction, we do hold quite a bit of withdrawals as we investigate to root out foul play.

Yea, something felt very off with peerbet and earnings... I hope any potentially illegitimate funds are held in mediation while it's sorted.

While this upsets a lot of people, I think it's better to be safe than sorry. I'd rather have a delay on getting my money than to find that the site has gone under as a result of NOT delaying, and get absolutely nothing.

We don't disagree - we actually disabled Dice for a bit last week as we saw very unexpected results, and have put our security expert on top of finding more issues with both the Wheel and Dice. Note - Bit777 had a bug, but it wasn't costing us any revenue and has been patched.

We are also very much aware PeerBet needs a complete face-lift, and is yet another thing we're tracking with that property.

Results for May 1st through 15th are posted!

Casino

CasinoBitco.in remained consistent earning ~12 BTC in the time period; however, PeerBet (Wheel and Dice) and Bit777 have continued to underperform well below expectations losing ~13 BTC in this timeframe. Our Analytics and Engineering teams are reviewing all datapoints available to determine if we're just in a bad run of negative variance, or whether there are systemic issues that are surfacing. We'll have more data on this in the monthly report as well as focus on near-term strategies to "right the ship".

Conclusion - A cloud with a silver lining so far in May, as we expect our efforts for improvement will pay off in the long run, and after we can root out any potential security risks at Peerbet (countermeasures have already been taken).

Something is seriously wrong with your Bit777/PeerBet revenue. Almost 100% sure you have a glitch that allows ppl to steal coins.

Damn, worst performance in a long time. I thought these days were behind us:( I really hope this new sports provider can eliminate these negative results. Also it seems like these purchases are becoming a real drag on our business. Sometimes I wonder why we even purchased Bit777 when it has a huge overlap of games we already offered, especially now knowing that it's based on expensive Microsoft tech. We could have just programmed the missing features into our core site for less money then it's costed to buy/integrate/host I would think.

For the first time since buying in, I'm getting a little worried about this security. I had high expectations here, and still do, but I really hope we see some solid fruits of all this labor soon.

lol, u srs?

Our feedback for all investors in this security is to remain patient, a true business will yield returns over-time. If anyone is promising big returns < 1 year in, they are assuredly scams (and you don't need to look very far to see practical use cases).

While my team and I often get caught up in the short-term results, we remain positive that we are all in this for the long haul. Bitcoin is young, our business is even younger - but gambling with Bitcoin IS the future.
