My only question is, why would such a company sell their business to a startup?

Or they just get hacked. And somebody from inside who knows this sold all the shares.  Seems like everybody who is running some bitcoin operation with off-chain 0 confirmations instant transactions (and is using txid for verification) is vulnerable to malleability attack. Who is using instant transactions? Online Casinos ... because you cant wait 20minutes for 1st confirmation on your bet in roulette.

This is just great news! Now the altcoins is aboard aswell. Really adds to the cryptocommunity aswell as the company I think.
