Looks like we need to watch out for these guys: https://darkbet.com/. Site is very professional and they have sportbetting as well as poker, with a casino coming.
We should get poker going as well!

I cannot understand why this stock is staying so flat.

With all due respect mr e, you're not only worrying about the wrong thing, you're thinking about your investment in the wrong way. If I may:

27 is exactly right, the share price is flat because "Those that want to own this stock do".

Why don't more people want to own it? Much of it has to do with being listed on a virtual exchange that trades in a digital currency. Virtual, BTC-denominated exchanges are small and have a limited number of participants. This is not likely to change as barriers to entry are formidable. Probably the biggest is the currencies' wild fluctuations in value and overall rapid appreciation. But beyond this, "real" investors won't go near virtual exchanges because they're unregulated, foreign, and participation requires conversion from fiat to BTC. So, unless you have a large stash of the dosh already, you're likely to go elsewhere to put your money to work in the BTC economy, and currently there are plenty of those opportunities - 2013 changed everything for BTC. We're not in Kansas anymore......

As CasinoBitco.in continues to improve it's product and gain marketshare it will almost certainly attract venture capital money or an outright buyer. In either scenario, virtual exchange shareholders are, flat out, nothing but a nusance. No one knows what to do with them. You either have to negotiate a buyout (ie satoshidice), legitimize them somehow (ie VirtEx), or just screw them over (so sue me...). This should be your concern.

Meanwhile, think of your investment in CasinoBitco.in as the price of participation and ownership in an exciting start-up; you're an angel investor. It may hit big. You may lose it all. Either way, it's not IBM on the Dow Jones.

And now we're hitting new lows while this company is easily one of the more transparent, awesome companies with high potential upside on havelock... What is wrong with you people? lol. Well I'm enjoying these easy pickings of cheap shares.

Great story about the current state of BTC in the iGaming environment.

We're not mentioned but CoinBet and Cloudbet are and a rising tide lifts all boats. So keep up the good work casinobitco!

Anyone from the site going to London for the ICE conference?

Thanks for your quick replies, I have high hopes for your site:D

Suggestion: A friend of mine who I just referred noted that he should be able to see his balance when he is betting on this screen:

He said,
"Its useful to see your balance and even without placing the bet its useful to see how it would change your balance should you place said bet. that way you can know what you're going to have for your next few bets. im just saying. its easier especially when dealing with ppl who may be under the influence or under pressure due to time restrictions."

This question for our illustrious leader:

Do you have plans to obtain a gaming licence? If so when and in which jurisdiction (Malta, Guernsey, Panama etc)?

Yes - we do have plans, and they are currently in the works. Timing and exact jurisdiction is still up in the air though, so I'd rather not speculate - but I can say this has been on our radar for a while.

Also - just another update, we'll be posting our January 2014 results, and dividend information, on Monday February 3rd.

Does this mean once you get these license you will be preventing access to the site for users in the jurisdictions that you do not hold a license?

and does the company we are looking to take over have any of these licenses? What are the risks we have for not currently holding a license?

The company we are acquiring is currently licensed and does not restrict users in certain jurisdictions. Also, the sheer nature of us acquiring our own license will not necessitate us to restrict users in certain jurisdictions.  (we have no desire to restrict users on CasinoBitco.in). The license itself gives us more credibility, essentially a badge of honor, proving our games are verified / fair / and audited.

I must say, that is a pretty nice site. The way those games work on a mobile phone is very well done. I hope we can look like that one day!

Just a minor update, we are meeting with the seller for a technical overview today and tomorrow - assuming all goes well, there is a fair chance we could close and make a formal announcement in next 1-2 weeks.

Regarding alt-coins, my personal opinion only is that non of them serve any actual true purpose outside of speculation. That said, I have commissioned my team to investigate the work effort involved on bringing on the somewhat more popular and hardened coins into CasinoBitco.in. This team will be researching the financial, technical and legal implications associated with this initiative and I will make the best business judgement regarding any next steps, putting aside my personal opinions.

As long as cbtc makes the alt gambling stand alone without allowing transfers between btc and altcoins then cashes out the profits into btc I don't see the problem..

Also it can't be that difficult for them to play with the programming a little bit to include doge/litecoin

The only reason I brought it up was because of the quantity of transactions taking place in the dogecoin blockchain

People seem to like spending them

I was about to post to please not waste time integrated these bullshit currencies but then a thought occurred to me: People have absolutely nowhere to spend these coins. This may make them more likely to spend them on a gambling site and possibly even gamble more than they normally would since these coins aren't considered as useful... They could then be converted to btc and paid out as dividends to us:D Maybe wishful thinking but an interesting possibility none the less.

Problem remains you need to be vigiliante on coins prices and be exchanging them daily for a safety net if they are not truely tied to BTC like LTC is now.  I agree having a place to gamble these coins legitimizes them, look at the effects Doge-Dice (Just-Dice owner) did for Dogecoin, but again does this take away initially the time CBTC has to integrate other things. If not then these altcoins would require someone to possibly be paid to oversee them and thus taking away your dividends.  Just-Dice was fully built out and transferred over to Doge-Dice within a couple of days, if CBTC was fully built out and could do that then I say go for it until then LTC is only suitable coin without large amounts of time, worrying about coin prices and even then how long would it to port out Litecoin.

Yeah I agree with this, focus should be on Bitcoin for the foreseeable future.
