I am on the Big Island of Hawaii and could help verify this piece of property being legit.

Being a native, your opinion on it's location and value would also be helpful, as I see it is quite a distance from the beach.

If you want near the beach in Hawaii, it is gonna cost a little more the 10 BTC.  Add some zeros to that.  My favorite beach on that island is part of the Mauna Kea hotel  The houses there are on *average* $5,000,000 and up.  Besides, you aren't going to find many beaches on the Hilo side of the island.  That side is much more rocky.  There are tons of beaches on the Kona side.

+1 not sure about that $5Million number. I've seen some listings for $1 million to $3million that look pretty decent. But that isnt what we are discussing here.

Beach front land is always more expensive and more risky as we do have tsunamis given we are located in the middle of the pacific ocean. Any earthquake on a cost of any of the pacific touching land masses can cause damage to your house via large waves of water.

Since you don't believe me, check them out here:
http://www.maunakearealty.com/luxury-homes/

The first page is from 6.7 to 13.9 million.

My whole point isn't the price of expensive homes, my point is your not going to get anything near the beach for 10 BTC.  Those homes are near the beach.

I am sure stuff is much cheaper on the Hilo side but I don't think there are many beaches on the Hilo side.  Nothing near the beach for 10 BTC!

when did I ever say I don't believe you?

Perhaps you are being presumptuous?

Yes we agree $5000 will not get you land near the beach on any of the islands.

My point was that why even mention $5million homes when there are really good choices in the 1-3 million range? $5million is on the high end and there are very few of them when it comes to small pieces of lands. I'm not talking about acres of prime real estate that sometimes gets listed for those prices.

Hawaiian Acres land as mentioned in the OP for the size and price sounds about right from my own personal knowledge of the area.

10 btc is a price really low for that land, the offer should be verified by a trusted user.

PM me if you need me to act as a 3rd party for this deal.
It would be nice if you could post few photos of the actual place if you are able to get there.
Well i'm not going to buy it on 90% but i'd like to see how does it actually look like if it's worth only 5000$.

PSA: I've seen scams for land sales like this before. Check the land is allowed to be built on, and do your homework first.

(Phoenix1969: Not saying you're a scammer, just want people to know what they're getting into.)

I live within a dozen miles of that spot. Not only can you build there, but you can pretty much ignore all regulations. Probably half the houses there have no permit.

As for price, seems reasonable. Decent lots in the Puna area start around $5000.

Lots around Pahoa

Cool what part are you located in? i'm on east side.

This is an 8100 Square ft Subdivision lot in Hawaii Island Paradise Acres, Mountain View, Hawaii.
I own this Jointly with my Aunt, and we would like to sell it.
We will pay for the Titile recording, and be using First American Title Company, of Hilo, Hawaii to transfer into your name.
the price is 10 bitcoins; first pay, first get.
This will be an escrow protected deal. You pay me 1.5 btc to begin escrow and title services, and after you sign the agreement from First American Title, you then pay me the balance, and you will be the proud owner of Land in Hawaii.
