Of course, I understand everything, but I advise you to remember once and for all - in this industry you can only trust facts and agreements. I don't take any promises.

Its not really advisable to ask other traders to do the work for you even you consider this particular person as trusted.

You dont know what they up to and if we're talking about money, many people are becoming greedy and tend to forget their responsibility or what they promise.

Its best to do it yourself, learn to be a trader using your own knowledge and experience. Because it feels good to earn if you know you gain it through your hardwork and not because of other people.
Money will bring out the true nature of a person, whoever it is. especially when we talk about the thousands of dollars we want to invest.
The safest way is to manage it yourself, to trade yourself. The most important thing is that we must know the knowledge, start learning from basic knowledge, and gain experience. hard work and profits generated by oneself will indeed be more meaningful than using the services of others, because there will be a process that is carried out.
If you want to do it yourself, it's hard at first, of course you will feel uncomfortable feelings, but that's how you have to go through to become a true trader and investor. maybe at the beginning we will lose some money because of loss, but we can think of it as a school, and it costs money, therefore with the spirit that must be increased it will be able to make us to collect the money we crave

Why not? What if he is still starting and doesn't have enough knowledge? There might be some service that does this and they charge a certain fee. It's great because while we learn we also earn and they are already proven to be trusted so why will you still doubt them? Money is not everything, but to some, what is more important for them is their reputation.

This is something that money can't be bought. It's hard to build a reputation, that is why one must take care of it. Like I said earlier, you are still practicing, so you are not totally depending on this kind of service and once you feel that you are now ready on your own, that's the time to stop availing this.

It's a big mistake to entrust your investment to someone else. even though they are professional traders, we don't know what they will do later if there are no recommendations from several people who have used their services.

Telegram is the major centre for crypto scam alot of scam formats are carried out on telegram so we need to be very careful with people we do business with. My friend was also a victim once, he was scammed on telegram while trying to purchase crypto, he fell for someone who claimed to be an escrow agent and thats how he lost his fund and never received his coin. Telegram is home for scam so be careful.
No doubt about this but telegram platform had made out some good updates basing on real experience if you do try to compare its situation in the past to now then changes in security
and for fighting spam and bots is really there.Im not saying that it do make get rid of bots and other scammy ones but with the recent security changes then its really hard to make out
some random messaging on someone which do really still need some verification or further step before you could able to do so.

How a close of mine lost his hard earned money to a bitcoin trader?

He told me how he invested some of his savings to a particular bitcoin trader in the place where he lives.

The professional trader promised to pay profit monthly which is supposed to be a fixed ROI.

It happened that the traders was actually faithful to the promised payment for a certain period.

But, the trader took the money invested with him and use it for other investment. It happened that he lost the whole money.

This became a big case between the traders and the individual investors. As it stands his money and other people's money with him had gone down the drain.

These prompt me to ask some questions:

1. How do we evaluate capability and credibility of some entities or individuals that trade for people or some professional traders who trade for people?

2. I've seen some Telegram group that sell trading services and signals advice. How do we know if they are good to do business with?

3. Is Telegram escrow system a scam  or not?

It's a big mistake to entrust your investment to someone else. even though they are professional traders, we don't know what they will do later if there are no recommendations from several people who have used their services. Always make a good initial deposit every profit you get, and then the investment funds are used for other investments.
Errors like this will be very detrimental, if you really want to use the services of other people, make sure the credibility of the trader is trusted and many people have used his services. making an agreement on a stamp duty is also important so that no harm happens.
For some of the trading services on Telegram, most of them are scams and lead to fraud, there are only a few that are truly trusted but very rare. It's better to learn trading knowledge and use it to trade yourself, it's better or invest in something other than crypto (because crypto will be a lot of risk for them who knows nothing).
Don't trust the escrow system on telgram, it's a scam. do not risk your money for things that will harm you. Just use the service in general.

This is the area your friend ought to know the trader is trying to scam him because there's no way a cryptocurrency trader no matter how good he was wont make a loss at some point.

It happened that the traders was actually faithful to the promised payment for a certain period.
They are always faithful at the beginning for the purpose of gaining your trust so they can scam with huge money instead of penny.

Is Telegram escrow system a scam  or not?
They are scams and if the escrow is done through this forum there's still hope but I am surprised your friend was greedy of making a profit through crypto and instead of him investing in the market for the long term he entrusted his fund to someone else.

I don't take loans, ask for sig if I ever do.
Never to believe anyone promising you a fixed ROI. Trading doesn't work that way.
This. It's either the trader is underpaying you or it's just a complete scam. There's no "guaranteed" way of profiting when it comes to trading, that's just part of the cycle. No trader has actually succeded by winning all of their trades, it's mostly about them knowing when to pull out or when to accept a loss.
3. Is Telegram escrow system a scam  or not?

I've never heard of this system. is this something official from telegram?
I don't think so no. Telegram is kind of like how messenger/discord works, it's just a way to contact/message other users on the platform. escrow there would still need the cooperation of a third party. There might be bots that act as an escrow that uses a third party though so I'm not sure, just that in the end it's still technically a third party and not telegram themselves afaik.

Once a man, twice a child!
The take home from what happened to OP's friend should be never to believe anyone promising you a fixed ROI. Trading doesn't work that way. Except the supposed trader who is allegedly trading for you is grossly under paying you on investment. For instance someone can drastically reduce the ROI to around 2% – 5%, we can understand that to be sustainable. Sadly, people don't get enticed into investing on such low ROI, though this is more likely to succeed than higher ROI. So, they find a way to promise anything around 30% and above which can't be sustained. Except they resort to ponzi. They get more interested investors in and pay the old ones from newcomers' cash. Repeat the pattern and on and on. This doesn't last as it will crash once there aren't new investors coming in. This is what makes ponzi schemes crash. Anyway, I guess both OP and their friend learnt their lessons and adjusted their perspectives on trading.

1. How do we evaluate capability and credibility of some entities or individuals that trade for people or some professional traders who trade for people?

ask yourself:

if they are so good at trading why do they need other people's money? they could borrow from a bank and trade, they wouldn't need other people's money, and also just make calculations that you realize that when they take other people's money they won't be able to constantly make people profit because the market doesn't always bring fixed profit so how could they promise fixed profit?

2. I've seen some Telegram group that sell trading services and signals advice. How do we know if they are good to do business with?

It's all fake, all lies, don't believe it, no one can predict the market with certainty. when they send you these signals the market has already changed and you have no way to follow the change. so the best option is to do the analysis on your own

There's no trader willing to work with you, and they just got a small amount of the total profit come on. It's too good to be true mostly; they do just scams. Newbie traders would like to earn some profit. Another thing is why trusting them instead of make learning on your own there's a lot of information on the internet you can learn basic trading once you know to take a try to your self how hard to commit a decision every trade you want by that you can learn from your mistakes and can make a better version trader of yourself.
There are many things going on in the market that we need to be careful of. So many persons had lost there hard earned money because if lack of knowledge and selfishness. We need to read and ask questions so that we will not going to fall victim to the same mistake many investors had made. There are so many scammers in the market that are ready to scam people but we need to be careful and knowledgeable about what goes around in the market.

In my experience, we can't guarantee that we will avoid scam projects even if we do our job of studying them and digging their background. I had some few investments before and bought during ICO. I thought I did my job of assessing them as the projects were even promoted by trusted bounty manager. And yet, it didn't stop from the projects to exit without the promised services along with their collected money. So from then on, I learned my lesson. Sometimes it is better to just do the trading instead of investing during their sale, or buy them after few months, and their price is cheaper than their initial price.
Gone are the days to those ICO projects which are worth to invest or lets say the odds of hitting successful ones are much higher into those old days compared to now which does have or almost shit projects in the
market thats why no matter what you do then you do still have high chance on getting into shitty project which is really very normal or cant be avoided no matter how well you do make out some research but
somehow having that kind of effort is something better compared into those people who do make out investment without having any analysis or any efforts of research which is really just like on
throwing up your money in the air.

I think is high time we stop giving people our money to trade for us, if you dont know how to trade on your own then you learn it, if you dont want to learn then just forget about trading, dont allow anybody brainwash you must of them will scam you. Also dont trust any group giving signal most them of them are fake, if they are really making money from trading they wont ask you to pay first before they starting giving signal they will definitely do it for free and also dont trust all those telegram escrow service.

Most scammers are using Telegram and Escrow platforms to look for their victims. They offer promotions that are good to be true and mostly their victims are newbies and beginners. As for me, beginners should focus on gaining knowledge at least about the basics of trading first so they will be able to determine legit over scam promotions. Also, we shouldn't trust people that we meet online and we must always be skeptical.
Telegram and Ponzi scheme are the most platforms used by scammers to lured and convinced traders especially newbies into investing with them. These platforms sometimes crashed when you have already invest with them. As for telegram, most scammers use the app to persuade newbies into investing in their fraudulent site. Newbies who are greedy always fall in the hands of scammers and they complained when been scammed. Newbies don't understand the basis of Crypto and they easily deposit coins in other to receive bulky returns from scammed site.
Messaging platforms not only limited to Telegram but also in discord as well and other similar places on where there are lots of scammers lurking around which if you are really that dumb then getting victimized would

likely to happen thats why you should really make yourself that aware on how scam works and able to point out on what are the potential things that is currently happening around or on the time you do able to
encounter yourself.

You would be losing investment if you do really make yourself believe on things which arent even realistic or cant be possible. Its impossible for someone not
able to notice that but well there are people who are really that dumb enough.

Telegram escrow service? Oh my, I am hearing that one for the first time. This never occurred to me at all and even by reading, it looks way fake to me. I can’t trust on telegram escrow at all because I can’t even trust with whose talking with me from another side of the telegram. Today, automization and privileges to change the telegram usernames, bios, dps etc has got it all screwed up. People are so fake on telegram (or other socials) they would be talking with same person from multiple IDs. I would be way scared to use the financial services using such platform.
