There's no trader willing to work with you, and they just got a small amount of the total profit come on. It's too good to be true mostly; they do just scams. Newbie traders would like to earn some profit. Another thing is why trusting them instead of make learning on your own there's a lot of information on the internet you can learn basic trading once you know to take a try to your self how hard to commit a decision every trade you want by that you can learn from your mistakes and can make a better version trader of yourself.

1. How do we evaluate capability and credibility of some entities or individuals that trade for people or some professional traders who trade for people?

It's your hard earned money right ?
Then why giving other people to invest on behalf of yourself.
This simply proves that you are too greedy that you are not satisfied with little returns(which is way safer then risky investments).
To be very much specific, all professional trader who trades for other people are scammer.
If they were so much successful in trading , then why they again working for other people ?
Just simply use your brain and save your hard earned money.
Hope this helps you OP to understand the situation better.

He told me how he invested some of his savings to a particular bitcoin trader in the place where he lives.

The professional trader promised to pay profit monthly which is supposed to be a fixed ROI.

It happened that the traders was actually faithful to the promised payment for a certain period.

But, the trader took the money invested with him and use it for other investment. It happened that he lost the whole money.
And you wonder why he failed?
At first, the trader seemed to have followed up on his promises and soon got to fail. This is because, most of these traders aren't as professional as they want yiu to believe. There are chances that the said trader must have operated a pyramidal scheme as its done in ponzi. More like, he gives you a portion of your money periodically based on agreed percent and also, might use someone else's money to fulfil his promises. Not like he wasn't doing some active trading, making success and failing as well but, he might not have been making enough success to meet up with his promises. This could push for a lot of pressure.

It's more easier to trade for one's self than trading for others as well. Your mounted with 2 kinds of pressure. The pressure of fulfilling your promises to your investors and that of being successful in most, if not all of your trades. Now, that seems like an impossible task but, its just what it is.

So, he had to push for a more risky trade and maybe more frequently than supposed, not minding the risk before him and ended up in debts.

3. Is Telegram escrow system a scam  or not?
There is a an American saying that goes, "walk through a locker room and your sure to find some d!ck"... lol...
I think that pretty much says it for those that hope for any positive investment package or to find a credible trader from Telegram

Best advice, learn to trade yourself.

In reply to the Ops post...

This exactly has happened to me and a friend of mine, he claimed to be a professional trader and we both believed him and invested some amount of money with him, he payed us for the 1st month and asked if we want to invest more, we said we would love to but not at that very moment, that we would probably invest more after we get our second or third payment, that was how the idiot vanished with our money.

I learnt a great lesson from this, and the lesson is that, no real professional trader will go out seeking investors to trade for, this is the real fact, any body telling you he or she is a professional trader and that you should invest so that he or she will trade for you is a professional scammer, don't believe them, they will just take your money and run away.

It is actually far better to learn trading and trade for yourself than trust some scammers with your hard earned money in the name of trading for you, trust me, even if they pay, it will only be for some time, it won't last, the two times I tried this, I lost my money, I learnt my lesson the hard way.

1. How do we evaluate capability and credibility of some entities or individuals that trade for people or some professional traders who trade for people?
There is no particular way to evaluate for legitimacy when it comes to trading and platforms, at least non that I know of. That's why it's always best that yiu trade for yourself.

2. I've seen some Telegram group that sell trading services and signals advice. How do we know if they are good to do business with?

3. Is Telegram escrow system a scam  or not?
I think the question here is, what difference would it be between some self proclaimed professional on telegram, pasting proofs that are either unverifiable or perhaps some reposted content just to prove professionalism and the trader for which your friend invested and it went rogue.

At least, in your friends case, his got the trader to make case with but for telegram, you've got no where to turn. Once your blocked, it's case closed! Depending on people to trade or serve as escrow for you online could be damaging. You can seek out credible camapign managers on the forum and should exercise a lot of caution too.

1. Dont trust anyone, if they are profitable then they wont ask out other peoples money to be handled out.

2. Dont trust them because they are just shitting out newbies who do believe that these things are possible.

3. Most of the time, anything been showed of on TG are scams (not all but majority of them) So be careful!
in essence we must be able to think logically to see and assess it all. Don't be tempted by the promises that are made. they act as marketing, not pro traders, and of course their words are very sweet to hear, until finally they get customers who are in their grip. Don't let us realize it behind our backs to cause disappointment because of our own mistakes. learn so much from people's experiences that we don't need to do it
That I think is why knowledge is very important because so that we are not easily deceived by promises that have no basis,
on the other hand we really have to think logically which is good for filtering things like that

1. How do we evaluate capability and credibility of some entities or individuals that trade for people or some professional traders who trade for people?

I don't think you should follow entities or individuals who trade for others. If they are so good at it then they won't require to trade for others.
So the ones who offer their trading services are probably fake.

2. I've seen some Telegram group that sell trading services and signals advice. How do we know if they are good to do business with?

It's quite simple. They are NOT good to do business with. Avoid all of them.

3. Is Telegram escrow system a scam  or not?

That depends on the identity of the person. For example there are people on this forum who offers to be an escrow on telegram.
So verify that the person is genuine by reviewing them on this forum and confirm the same on telegram and then proceed with the escrow.

1. How do we evaluate capability and credibility of some entities or individuals that trade for people or some professional traders who trade for people?
Well the most basic method to judge someone is the amount of profit (in %) they can earn in general. Ofc it probably isn't all, but if you were looking for the simplest metric, then that would be it imo.

2. I've seen some Telegram group that sell trading services and signals advice. How do we know if they are good to do business with?
Yea just don't. DYOR, stop trying to think that others would simply give you their research and study of the market. Think about it, that's a profiting strategy, would you willingly share it? Maybe a small number would, but a majority would never.
3. Is Telegram escrow system a scam  or not?
Probably scam? I mean there might be legit ones, but they would be rather hard to find. I'd say just don't look for escrow in telegram.

1. How do we evaluate capability and credibility of some entities or individuals that trade for people or some professional traders who trade for people?
There is no legit criteria to determine an individual's trading capabilities. Having streaks of good trades still doesn't guarantee one a professional trader. This is because all profit can still be blown down in a single day.

2. I've seen some Telegram group that sell trading services and signals advice. How do we know if they are good to do business with?
Signals are not bad but I recommend signals for traders and investors who do their own research and analysis. Following a signal blindly is similar to gambling. Because the signal provider most times get their analysis wrong and this is where you have to cross check every signal before picking them

I won't judge all but most of the escrow services on telegram are scam and it's wiser to follow a trusted service not jumping into every advert seen online

It all scam and lies, almost all Telegram groups are scan it not all. Why not make your own research and try investing yourself, it better to try and fail yourself than giving your funds to someone else to do it, at least when u make mistakes you get to learn from it.
Things like this has been happening long before Bitcoin even came to be. I can remember some of my friends who used to be into forex trading years back, and how they would give their money to some so called professional traders who would then waste their money on trading, and then they will run away and would be nowhere to be seen. And the funniest part is that there would be lots of people who would gather money and give to these so called professional traders, and they will just waste the whole money and scam everyone that invested into their hands.

There are many media outlets who will give you good advice. With good advice like this then it will be with you and scandal will bring you down a lot.Especially trading platforms have a lot of scandalous teams who will give you signals and you will work with those signals.I would like to say one thing, if you have to trade, then learn to analyze yourself and start trading.
There's no such thing that could beat up on having your own personal knowledge and skills specially in trading rather than on having or being a fan on looking for tips and hints about trading or other investment decisions.

Its better to have your own taking and decisions whether you do make out such action or not basing on what you do analyze.Losing investment could really go into various reasons.

Just make or follow your common sense on able to  find out on what are things which are really that worth and which isnt.

The part about the trader promising a fixed ROI each month should have been enough for your friend to tell that this was some kind of scam or that the trader did not knew what he was talking about, earning money in the markets every single month and to earn the same amount is simply impossible, take a look at the market, there are periods of time in which you can earn massive profits thanks to the bull markets, periods in which you lose money and periods in which you neither win or lose, anyone promising fixed monthly profits is too suspicious in my opinion.

This turned into a major case between the brokers and the singular financial backers. The way things are his cash and others' cash with him had gone down the channel. To hope to duplicate exchanges of different brokers, you can see a brief look at their exchanging history. That can make your assessment effectively and you can decide whether they are sound.

1. How do we evaluate capability and credibility of some entities or individuals that trade for people or some professional traders who trade for people?
Simply, I will not believe in someone or companies or groups that offer investment services even with high ROI or other profit promises. I will trust myself to do the investment or by trading. Although they are the people who I know in the real-life, although they are probably family, I will better make investment by myself. It is not only about trust, but also about money, we know all that mostly, money will sometimes end with soemthing complicated if we put them in other people. Expect that we invested in a company that has legality from law and we make a clear agreement under the law so that if something bad or wrong happens, we can use the law.

So do this kind of services, it is better not o trust them No 100% signal is true and it will not guarantee you to earn profits as they prmise.

This became a big case between the traders and the individual investors. As it stands his money and other people's money with him had gone down the drain.

These prompt me to ask some questions:

1. How do we evaluate capability and credibility of some entities or individuals that trade for people or some professional traders who trade for people?

2. I've seen some Telegram group that sell trading services and signals advice. How do we know if they are good to do business with?

3. Is Telegram escrow system a scam  or not?
There are no professional trader that is promising to pay a fixed amount of profit based on the investment to get the ROI, There's no one I promise you. If someone promise you that it is simply a scam to deceive you lucrative offer like that. There's a bunch of investment scam like these before and I'll tell you that the number of people scammed are massive.

1. How do we evaluate capability and credibility of some entities or individuals that trade for people or some professional traders who trade for people?
As far as I know etoro is a website that let you do a copy trade. There are statistics of traders out there so you can pick who trader you will copy. I think the results of those stats are credible enough.
2. I've seen some Telegram group that sell trading services and signals advice. How do we know if they are good to do business with?
don't , Just don't.
3. Is Telegram escrow system a scam  or not?
It would be better to find a escrow service here in this forum since we have reputations here and escrows here do care about their reputations.

You dont need for some evaluation or some sort because its never been a good idea to rely into these so-called professional traders because if they were profitable then they wont tend to be followed by
other people or handle out someones funds or some sort.

Also, it would be much better to lose up your funds with your own hands rather than seeing your trading account balance depleting gradually because of others faults or handling,
that would really be a regretful thing to be seen.

Take this as a lesson and this is most likely the result or case when you do let other managed funds or copy trades etc.
I believe that this is what distinguishes the stock market from the cryptocurrency market, that you can earn much more and faster on the cryptocurrency market, and at the same time it’s easier to learn how to trade cryptocurrency yourself than to hire a broker, as most cases do when trading stocks.  perhaps in the future they will offer appropriate services in the cryptocurrency market from specific brokerage companies that will be reputable and cryptocurrency users will turn to them for help, but today it seems to me that in most cases they are scammers, Especially given the difficulties in the cryptocurrency market due to the volatility of cryptocurrencies.
