I think the effect is temporary though. I mean if you used gambling as a stress reliever, definitely it will work but for how long? Maybe just a couple of hours playing and then you lose money? Same with it improves your mood, when you gamble it might release some chemicals like Dopamine so you really feel good about yourself. But then again, the same question, how long will you feel that good mood?
So not really sure if we can call this as health benefits because the effects is for a limited of time only.
It is temporary, and those benefits listed is definitely going to be experienced only when you're gambling
so it's not that much of a benefit at all. There's other stress relievers out there! Gambling shouldn't be the go-to thing for that kind of stuff, has anyone here heard of videogames? Some of us definitely have the money to buy a decent computer to play games or buy a PlayStation 5 or an XBox so you can play games that will relieve your stress, sure you have spent some money setting those up but compare that to gambling, the money you have spent you would be thankful that you have made the choice to set up a gaming stuff instead of just gambling.
First I want to ask whether you are gambler or not?
If indeed you are gambler, then what do you get from gambling if there is no benefit to be gained because even though it is just an excuse to have fun, isn't it also beneficial because you get pleasure joy of the heart and mind.
In fact this pleasure can provide comfort to the heart which can make you not feel stressed or bored.
I understand what you mean that there are other ways you can do if you want to relieve stress and some of these methods don't require lot of money to be lost, such as gambling.
But we are all here gambling with our own goals and of course with our own money, we even enjoy doing it even though we lose, we come back again in the next few days because this pleasure gives us the feeling of being willing to lose money to pay for it.
But whatever it is, everyone opinion is definitely different and I understand that and maybe you don't think it useful, but for the majority of gamblers out there there is positive side that can be felt.
