I would not recommend you to pay attention to the GPU with 4 GB of memory. In 2019, they will be unsuitable for the production of the most popular altcoin Ethereum. This will significantly reduce the demand for these GPU and the price of them will fall. Why you need it. All the other GPU you can buy. But it is better to choose a coin before buying. This is important because the GPU has its own different characteristics and different profit on each coin.

Which coin you suggest to do mining ? Huh

I still suggest that high performance CARDS are used for mining, residual and power consumption are better than normal, and maybe 5 years later, you can still play games.

At the moment investing into GPU's for mining is expensive thing. Also with everything that is going on (price drop and rise of difficulty), getting your investment money back through mining would take really long time. But I agree with you, high end cards would always be better choice. Unlike ASIC miners, GPU's will always be easier to sell and thus return some portion of your investment. Selling GPU's is easier simply because more people uses them, and because of that market is bigger. There are some properties that GPU's have which ASIC miners don't.

If you really want to mine, I would say a 1070 is nice (mine can do ok on ethash even, 31-32 mhs). And you can easily get >4sols / watt with most current equihash miners if you want to talk efficiency. But wait until you can get a new one for under 500, well under 500.

Buying Altcoins rather than GPUs is more profitable right with the volatility.

I am also looking for good ROI rig and I am thinking about GTX 1050 TI. Those are 4 gigs and are really cheap price compare to others...

Yes, GTX 1050 Ti is not so bad. I mean you would be able to make some profit with it. But honestly there is a reason why its cheaper. Those GPU's that OP posted are better, a lot better. Yes their prices are higher, but you will get a lot more than with cheaper ones. Eventually you will understand that most of the time, it will pay off if you buy better GPU's for mining.

Can it pay off to mine SHA-256 alt-coins? There's probably some better algorithm coin to mine with GPU.

Buy 1080ti because you will buy strongest card available, and once when ampere/volta come out they will not become obsolete, also 1080ti have nice resell value.

The mining needs to endure a lot of loneliness, the least opinion, but also the most profitable business, not one, very wonderful.

More reliable than work, because he will not strike for you, keep giving you profits, keep giving you COINS, you can even dig a lifetime, you can be intoxicated in it.

LOl. I m not gonna take it too seriously as things can take a downturn but it is good. The sad thing is I knew about this 4 years ago but always used to think that it's too late now. I will make some bucks probably but it will be fun and interesting that's for sure.

1080ti are going above or around 1000$ where I live. I think I will choose 1070. It looks good on nicehash too. I will confirm the price tomorrow and then purchase it on Thursday. GTX 1060 6gb and RX 570 are good too maybe. I just want the best value for my money.

You should take the electricity bill into consideration, I think 1080ti is better, of course, if your electricity bill is not money, then it is 1060, I have done the table analysis.

The price are extremely high for the cards but if you like me are a believer in bitcoin go for it with the RX 580 8GB cards. You will make about 12 USD or 0.00107 BTC with 6 cards daily but who knows what value has this amount after a few years. In this context you can start mining.
