OP, what can I tell you? That you and your ex are truly valuable to each other

One writes like a chicken with a paw, and the second takes pictures that will certainly not display clarity.

If you are a beginner, then learn from your experience and just accept the loss. And if you're not a beginner, then tear the hair on your head. Bitcoins should not be treated carelessly. I will not tell you about those pragmatic people who engraved their keys on a piece of metal.

Compared to them, you are still at zero.

she's feisty. Look inspector gadget I didn't take the picture. I'd be savage too if I sat at the computer all day chasing scams. Hakuna matata  Kiss

People have engraved these seeds phrases on metal plates and there is extensive research about which steel plates to be used and how to properly backup your funds here on the forum because it's the only way you can retrieve your funds and if you can't then they are lost because brute forcing and other recovery options are not guaranteed in this case. Moreover there is one image with some words missing and we don't know even it's seed phrase or not.So @OP needs is on his own or trying the steps mentioned above.

Some of the words are I managed to figure out like crumble, liquid, larva, load, Lille....The writing is horrible and the photo quality doesn’t help either. I think OP is a beginner because he didn’t know enough that is risky to publicize your private keys no matter the circumstance.
If they can forget about bitcoin they have bought back then they must also not be familiar with the security steps to be taken and it's one of them.I am not expert in making blur or unclear images visible to read the text but still have done something with AI tools and there are many who can extract the words out of it which is security threat to @OP.People need to take care of funds and have proper backup of seeds at multiple places but they have only one copy and that also with missing words we assume to be seed.

First line: crumble, liquid, paruk/parua (?)
Second line : tea, load, uf2/ufl (?), little (not really sure)

BIP39 words do not have numbers or symbols inside them. Also all letters must be in lowercase, so this makes identification much easier.

At any rate, 2048^2 (because there are 2 missing words) - about 4 million.

A CPU thread can run about 3.x billion instructions per second.

Most PCs have 8 threads in a CPU.

It's doable, while at the same time tying to identify some of the more illegible words from 2 or 3 choices. Looks like a good job for BTCrecover to munch on.

If this is the full photo and not just part of it and these seven words are all you have then even if you can read them it will be hard if not possible to recover your wallet. Most wallet generate 12 words seed so you're missing five words which is not easy to brute-force.

If you intentionally shared part of the paper and you have the missing words then the best thing you can do is to follow pooya's suggestion or just call your ex and nicely ask him to help you decipher those words.

See as said the image quality is too low to completely understand it or you might have blurred it intentionally but this doesn't look like a seed phrase which you also don't need to share it with anybody at all which could lead to some fund loss.

You can try finding out some words and matching them to the BIP39 list if there are any words matching to it on your own as you can't risk disclosing the whole information to everyone. We are only trying to make assumptions as the words are not clear to us but from less visibility members are trying out their best like finding out liquid, candles and similar words but the rest lies in your hand .

The first word in second line seems to ten but not sure and have tried out several AI sharpen image tool but the quality is too low for it to come up in good condition like after using tool also this is what is visible to us :

So make sure what you do is in right manner with safety and hope you find you funds back and if you get them don't forget about them.

In Bitcoin, there are two options, you either have the private key or you don't,  the more words you know up to 9 words in the correct order, the greater your chance of getting your coins back.

So first determine the nature of the seeds and then look for the words using full word-list, check their order and then determine how many words you cannot identify.

If you Sharing pictures of your private keys, you will lose your coins

Well first --be careful now because perhaps someone scammer attracts your post and sends you a PM asking for more details if there is someone who will ask, it should be here publicly discussed.
Just an assumption, perhaps you only found the first page on the seed phrase, if that happens --it was split and there are more than 5 seed words on the other piece of paper. Because it is impossible to have 7 words seed, that is too low and no one wallet will use that.
Just check it here to verify those words if they are eligible as a seed phrase. [ https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0039/english.txt ]

If you want help deciphering the text, you have to share more information about how this text came into existence first of all.  But first and foremost, if this is everything and all the words you have then it may be better NOT to share more details as it could lead to the loss of your Bitcoin since there definitely is someone evil enough to steal it from you.

If this image is just part of a bigger picture, then it may be helpful to share everything you remember about the creation or usage of this paper.  Were you there when your ex generated it?  What do you remember precisely?  Have you ever seen him introduce this text somewhere, in an app or on a website?

So a while back I purchased some bitcoin for my ex and he forgot about it and so did I. Unfortunately he went to the Hard Knock School of Chicken Scratch handwriting. I've been trying my hardest to understand his handwriting, If someone could help me decipher this sh*tty handwriting I'd greatly appreciate its and share if I am able to get through! This is the only copy I have of the photo
How exactly you purchased Bitcoin and can you remember what wallet you used for sending and receiving?
Judging by this blurry image that is incomplete, it's going to be very hard to decipher the words, but maybe you can find backup files on computer or phone devices.
One more potential problem could be if he used password or passphrase for his wallet.

Maybe two of the words in the first row are liquid and prank?
Maybe two of the words in the second row are loaf and allow?

But yeah, compare with the wordlist from the first reply and see, maybe you get lucky.
And OP, I hope that you were smart enough to post less than half of the words if this is indeed a HD wallet seed or a brainwallet (if it's a brainwallet, then the words can be anything and in any number!)

If your seed phrase is seen by others, it would be used to compromise your wallet. Do not post your seed phrase or private key for others to see. If seen, your wallet would be compromised, your coin would be stolen. Your seed phrase and private key must remain only known by you.

Is it up to 12, 15, 18, 21 or 24 words? If so, you can do as pooya87 posted up there. That link consists of all the words existing in BIP39 seed phrase words. If it does not work, you can try it also on Electrum wallet, maybe it is Electrum seed phrase.

The word shown on your image did not look like seed phrase though.

I'm sorry, but it seems that you would have a hard time recovering your wallet because of the bad quality. It's not just a terrible handwriting thing; it's also the photography. Since it was a way older image, it's probably a low-quality cam and awful lighting that caused that shitty photo you have.

Anyway, I think that something is missing from your image. Maybe that's the only part you don't understand, and that's the one that needs interpreting?

You should know that, you must have 12-word secret recovery phrase for import any cryptocurrency wallet. But I can see only seven words in your picture. You can never recover a wallet with only seven words even if it is correct. It will only be tried in vain
A recovery phrase can be anything between 12 - 24 words in groups of 12, 15, 18, 21 and 24, and not just 12 words. Some wallets only allow recovery in 12 or 24 words only, and there can also be extra customized passphrases added.
Yup it is groups of 12, 15, 18, 21 and 24. But No recovery face will work less than 12 words. That's it I meant.  Here OP has shown only seven words. Which will not work in any way. I think that now.  Here OP is a newbie is and he/she just made 3 post including this one. OP just playing or jocking with us he he

You are right. But my guess is he's new so maybe he doesn't know about this.A cryptocurrency wallet contains 12-24 phrases. But in his picture we see 7 phrases. That means he doesn't know about cryptocurrency wallets.Otherwise he is making fun of us.

First line: crumble, liquid, paruk/parua (?)
Second line : tea, load, uf2/ufl (?), little (not really sure)

You're missing two words, since these words doesn't found on BIP39, perhaps you can try brute force to find the missing words. It's need a good hardware to perform that, otherwise you will wait more longer.
