In my opinion, it's very difficult problem and there is no easy solution.
The roots of this problem are in our spirit and character and it's hard to resist.
Already in the story of Adam and Eve we can see the emergence of this problem.
While they were innocent and listened to God, they were naked but unconscious of their nakedness.
When they were sinned and separated from God as the first consequence of separation from God, there was a shame about nudity.
The first thing they did was to cover their sexual organs.
Throughout history, people have not been able to overcome their shame because of sex and nudity.
So it's obvious who can only help us solve this problem.
Only our creator, God.

We can't actually help with this problem because it is a human nature to urge that certain pleasure and if you are watching too much then you can ask for a professional help

Maybe males who grow up in certain religious households where about the only allowable contact with females they have is with their sister. People have no problem watching brutally gory and violent TV shows and movies, and even let their children watch them. The thought of seeing a pair of tits on TV sends some of those same people into hysteria.

Anything in excess can be bad. Social media, alcohol, TV, porn, and even Bitcoin.

At least porn has a natural element to it.

I read sometime ago that the porn industry generates mega amount of billions yearly.
But everyone will come out on social medias and said they do not watch porn.
Who then watches porn.
The other day, there was a video trending about a man and a women making out in the woman's shop.
They story had it that it was the husband of the woman that leaked the video online.
I was taken aback how everyone was asking to be sent the video.
Addiction is even an understatement.

..porn addiction is a free will and is a product of human's imagination that usually takes part on the side of men..specially those who are eager in having an intercourse with beautiful ladies..they do this to satisfies their needs..they are not contented on their living partners..and this is really harmfull specially to young ones..porn addictions usually causes danger to child's safety,that is why many news of child abuse are reported because they are innocent,,not even ladies are being abuse but also gentlemens..Better not to watch any form of porns to avoid chaos in this world..

There isn't much of addiction with porn, most of the friends around me including me used to watch porn and this has got its limit. Maybe for a very short time we used to watch. It can be even less than five minutes, which depends on the mood. I feel this is the freedom of the common people and people should know what can be done and what shouldn't be, as I've read several articles stating that people trying to abuse once after watching porn which is completely wrong.

No we aren't, as a whole society we are 100 times more civilized, 1000 years ago, hell, even 200 years ago people were being killed in front of everyone for crimes, tortured sometimes, everyone was far more racist, homophobic, sexist, etc. We are way better now than before and every year we are better no matter how many violent games are there, in fact, kids play more videogames now than ever and yet I don't see any epidemic of kids killing people.

I agree with your point that porn addiction is very rare and that incest porn isn't necessarily harmful but there's still the question that a lot of people in this thread asked
and that's why is it so prevalent these days, you really can't go on any tube site without seeing any dad, mother, sister videos as most viewed videos on the front page?
When exactly did this start to become so popular and why exactly?
