Is there a reason why some had to reach a 1000 Activity score to reach Legendary rank, or is it just random stuff like everyone else thinks?

Your merits sum and Activity score speak volumes, I've been monitoring your Activity score for the past weeks now, too bad I didn't want to be the first to congratulate you, this was quick I had my head programmed at 900 Activity score for Legendary rank although I know the Legendary rank Activity is not fixed but the 800+ is rare. A win for the forum and the African community. I remember that I was waiting for more than 1000 activities for the leg. rank

Another thing I admired was your prompt response to newbie questions in the B&H board. During those days, It wasn't so long I saw your merit source application, I don't know if you are one now.

Today reminded me when I joined Bitcointalk, I had to learn hard to become one of the good members on this forum, I may not be that good, but this forum has been part of my life that I can never forget, it helped me in so many ways. I was a type of person that can easily fall into scam before, but one of my researches and that I created topics for on this forum were about crypto scam and how to avoid them. These have been helping me daily to avoid scam. It furthers to other types of scam to avoid that some other members brought up on this forum that someone or some people falled into or that people can possibly for into. This has been an important part of this forum that I cherish very well.
Know about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies can be risky for some people, but they have been of help for me. I have the time of losses and the time of profit, but overall, Bitcointalk, bitcoin and crypto helped my financial life. I could not think that could happen, that there could be a forum you can learn, contribute and earn little amount of money (bitcoin).
Thanks to good posters, especially those that saw my posts worthy.

I set a goal from the beginning.
I have viewed a lot of posts by heroes and legendary members. It was observed that they would send 10 or more posts per day on average. So I also set a goal like this for me.

Hero Member is no small accomplishment these days, especially since you registered well after the merit system started.
The Pharmacist, maybe not for those who don't care about knowledge and post quality. Even though we have dozen of active poster every day but it is very difficult for them to get 1 merit because they don't care about post quality. There are very few active and knowledgeable poster with their contribution on the forum from 3 million current profile in my opinion.Most newer members (and you are still relatively new, even though you breezed through the ranks) come here just to participate in bounties and don't read any of the valuable threads bitcointalk has to offer, and if they do post anything other than their weekly bounty reports, it's nearly always garbage.
That's why Charles-Tim stands out from the rest of the pack, because he isn't just writing crappy posts as fast as he can type them out like most noob bounty hunters, in order to satisfy the character count minimum for whatever bounty they're enrolled in. Although, I have time to learn about Bitcoin, but learning about it has been a big turn around for me which really favoured me and yet favoring me. And I have never been on any forum before like this so amazing forum, Bitcointalk, not that the forum is just amazing, its members make it amazing. I appreciate y'all that made it amazing for me today.
Congratulation, you achieved what you deserved. You deserve Legendary but have to wait for activity requirements. If I can recall exactly then your growth was faster than mine. Means you have been contributing your best. Although merit isn't centralized earning merit indeed isn't easier for noncontributors. All good contributors getting back something from the forum. And as you said and I admit it ad well, the forum members are helpful enough. Although sometimes a few users like to criticize, it's not countable. All user's behavior wouldn't be the same anyway. I feel happy when I see someone promoted to the next rank because I was a newbie once a day and I know the feeling. More contribution expecting from you. All the best.
