Welcome to the forum.

A nice thread and i understand your concerns about the threads you listed.
A good rule of thumb is to listen to what the "hero" and "legendary" members
Of the forum have to say. They have been around the scene for way longer
than any other members.

You are asking a question on a public forum so be prepared for everyones
opinion good and bad.

A good place to start is reading the bitcoin whitepaper and try to get the
"Facts" of how it works and what it actually does.

Dont listen to talk about what bitcoin WILL or WILL NOT do because
nobody can predict the future.

I know how you feels right now and I already experienced it before and up until now I sometimes think and hesitating to reinvest or not to the future growth of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.

Come to think of this, you are here because you want to know more about Bitcoin then I can safely say that there is a high percentage that you would invest on it because almost all of the people here that are 'active' will say positive things about Bitcoin, you will not waste your time if it doesn't got your attention.

So for 'In my opinion' think which is better, the good or bad aspect of Bitcoin, if the good over comes the bad then invest and vice versa if not.

For everything in this world has its own positive and negative side, it's just a matter of self belief and perspective to that specific kind of thing.

As you have write, there is positive and negative sides and always will be. I have no idea how successful we can be in making Bitcoin different than it is. Accepting it as it is, as preparing yourself for the worst. Anyway, when you can afford negative sides, it can be useful to try.

I think it is great that you are hesitant. It shows that you try to invest carefully and thoughtfully.

Keep reading, but remain skeptical about everything you see. There is plenty of information here, though most of it is low-quality and noise.

Many posters here treat Bitcoin as a religion and dismiss or reject anything that doesn't support their beliefs.
Many posters here invest based on speculative fantasy and wishful thinking rather than cold hard numbers and careful analysis.

There are positive and negative sides to any investment with it's risks and rewards. Whether or not to invest is the question the investor has to answer. Reading helps build your knowledge, at the same time, beware of FUD, shills and price speculations.

You are the only who can answer that. What we have to say here will just add to your positive-negative post list as reference. People have different views about "investing" in bitcoin so all responses here is just based on their own thoughts so you have to create your own.

While spending some time reading stuffs about bitcoi, analyzed those and asked yourself "are this for real"? "is this what bitcoin is all about?" "is putting money really worth it?" etc.

Try to understand "all the risks associated" when putting money on bitcoin and not just because a rich man, a bitcoin guru, a bitcoin professional etc. tells you to do that. Believed me, you will find the answer while on progress.

If you believe everything you read on line you will get mislead because all what you read online and on the forum are all people opinion about bitcoin and so many factors can influence one's thought such as a lost to scam using bitcoin and FUDS being spread to discredit bitcoin. The best thing to do is to carryout an intense research about bitcoin and you will fine out that most of those things are all Lie's.

I think everyone has an idea about Bitcoin. And Bitcoin is a decentralized crypto asset. So It is so normal thing this positive and negative ideas. You should read, learnd and research about Bitcoin and other coins. And create your ideas. Real important thing it is.

Hello, everybody, friend ...?
Sorry I'm a newcomer, at the BitCointalk forum, I don't know much about Bitcoin, but I've heard a lot about Bitcoin, especially in print and electronic media,
in one day I read about Bitcoin information in this forum, I am confused where to start, because I see many good, positive and negative posts.
For example:

Positive side:
1. Topic: Working for Bitcoin
2. Topic: Bitcoin ATM's are popping up

Negative side:
1. Topic: Will Bitcoin collapse by a global government crackdown

2. Topic: Five Reasons Bitcoin Should Be Closed Down

So I was a little hesitant in investing in Bitcoin, of course because I was confused between good and bad, but I was still sure.
What I want to ask the old seniors and understand the phenomenon of bitcoin in the future, whether I continue to invest in my estab lishment or not ...!

for reasons of the above posting factors. (thank you).
