Look, the truth is that people withdraw in btc, that's why fee is high. I've started to withdraw money in litecoin and ripple and it takes me like 20 cents to send money from oner exchange to another
Also as for exchangers to make btc-fiat conversions, try something reputable , for example Indacoin, their fees aren't high

for me this is not normal they just want to earn more, find another exchange that has small fees.
Normal or not it depends on the reputation of the exchanger, if indeed the reputation of their exchanger is good with security and a friendly platform and has large assets and trading volume, then it is very normal if they apply expensive fees.

Altcoin nowadays are listed on some exchange which has high fees.  I tried to trade to increase my portfolio despite of this situation but still useless because of the amount of fee is when it comes withdrawal.!

Is this normal because of the current situation of market?  Or a normal amount of  fee especially if the exchange is not yet popular?
Currently, only exchange users have a high transaction fee. Why don't you try trading at new exchange like Beaxy, P2PB2B. Beaxy is really a hot exchange and has a relatively high volume volume, more than 100 million dollars traded daily.
You can try the experience there, everything is very safe, I have traded and withdrawn more than $ 3,000 there.

Indeed, specially those exchange that are new in the market.. they have a high fee's.. you cannot withdraw such a small amount.. hitbtc also has a high fees, i tried to withdraw my token and the fee for that particular token is higher than what i hold LOL
HitBTC is the worst exchange and has a very high fee every time I withdraw money. Many times I am very upset about this issue but they still refuse and make customers leave this exchange more. Now a lot of new exchanges appear at a much lower cost than current exchanges so if you want a cheap fee when withdrawing money, you should research that exchange and evaluate their community if exchange is good, consider participating in the near future

Sometimes when I sell a small amount of tokens, I need to pay more commissions than I can withdraw. Then it makes no sense to sell them. So they just stay in my wallet. Is that so to collect from the sale of many tokens and withdraw. The only problem is that all of them are traded on different exchanges.
especially from the results of the bounty or airdrop that we receive. with a small amount of course that can never be traded if the fees for withdrawals are far more expensive than the value of the coins we sell.
especially if the exchange is hitbtc, because it is already known to many people if trading there must complain about the withdrawal fees that are too large.

It's not just the trading fees that reduce you profits, you should take a look at the withdrawal fees as well. If both of these are high then you should pick another exchange, there are new ones coming out every month

I think this is normal, and only the development team can enter in exchange or not if the coin that it carries is valuable then the high price in exchange will not be a problem. High exchange rates but being able to carry coins to a place that has a certain name will be many who are eyeing it, and I think people will consider this more.

Fees are still fine for me, though I tend to consolidate all my funds into one or two withdrawals twice a month or so from the exchanges I use to minimize fees. Like adaseb said, exchanges raised their fees during the transaction count hike a few months back and didn't put fees back down for whatever reason, though if you only withdraw in medium-sized sums, fees should be under control.

The coinmarketcap top exchanges list doesn't list the respective fees of each exchange, and it's pretty well known which exchanges are most popular.

It all depends on what amounts of coins you are traiding. With big amounts you don't feel that, but with little trades it hurts. For people that are starting adventure with cryptocurrency this fees are really not so low. But in my opinion it all depends on bitcoin price and on fees form miners - that they take for keeping network. Everything will change when Lightning Network will be implemented.. Wink

When i started trading and in that sense, some of the exchanges are familiar with. Yobit is very smooth exchange but fee is horrible and unpair. Recently i think last week i make withdraw 60$ but i got received 56$ in my main wallet what the hell. https://m.idax.mn/#/ this chinese exchange are so cool for trading.
Lol I think this is the impact of the increasing number of bitcoin users, and adding to the crowded network, of course we need an increasingly expensive fee. each exchange has a different fee, there are 0.0005 btc per transaction such as bittrex, until there is one that reaches 0.001btc per transaction, it is a crazy expensive fee in my opinion

Fees now are normal, how are you withdrawing your funds? one by one and with each transaction you've got? That's the problem for using not so popular exchange, if your funds are stuck there you don't have choice but to withdraw it. I'm not saying they are scam but they are requiring you to pay too much fee which is going to be an issue to their users. Use only those exchanges that are trusted and verified by the community so avoid those new exchanges.

Yobit is a terrible exchange if you take the time to look at the amount of scam accusations against exchanges you will see that most of the time yobit is the one with the lead, so if I were you I will consider myself lucky that I got my money back and never trade in that exchange again because next time you could be one of the victims of such exchange.

Yobit is a bad exchange but their withdraw fee is similiar to that of other exchanges. Basically Bitfinex and Kraken both have a 50000 Sat fee or so for withdraws. So it works out to be $3 or so.

Even though most exchanges can get away these days with free withdraws, they don't want to run into the situation that happened a year ago when it cost $20-30 to get a single transaction to confirm, so they introduced fees.

I think they lowered their fees as a result of the network which is now free of spam, however they still kept their fees. I think the reason why is because they don't want people to deposit $1 every day that they get from their pool and increase the blockchain size when they can instead do it weekly or monthly, hence they charge a small fee.

Gladly I wasn't able to experience that kind of thing while trading at their end. I think am lucky enough of not storing my funds in their exchange, because that's their common concerns being scam accused due to lost funds. You can do trading transactions with binance and hitbtc due to fair fees for every traders withdrawal activities.

I think that soon there will be exchanges with minimal commissions on the conclusion. Or use a decentralized exchange with small commissions.

Most Decentralized exchanges has huge fees and i'm not fan to trade there. But if you have bulk orders of coins and you really wanted to dump a coins-DEX is what you're looking for.

After trading and cashing out, I would convert my btc to ETH because ETH withdrawals are cheaper than btc that costs a lot. I would also go for ETH pairs on trading, not unless that alts you have has no ETH pair.
We were trying to run away from Shylock banks and now we're having to contend with exchanges. Withdrawal fee of 100k Satoshi when transaction fee is only a few thousand Satoshi is unexplainable. I most of the time have my coins exchanged to Doge, before moving them out of the exchanges and that saves cost for me.

How do you trade? that also depends on your withdrawal strategy.

Yes you are right in the point, that it depends on the withdrawal strategy. For example earlier I liked to trade on poloniex exchange , but if you are going often to withdraw your assets from this exchange to your wallet, it costs too much, especially if you trade and withdraw ER-20 tokens.
