The highest price I was able to sell anything at was $57K as we started heading downward.  I sure hope that wasn't the best sale I'll ever get.  I'd like to at least sell a little over $100K (but it would be nice to sell a lot at $200K).  Here's hoping all the financial wizards on Wall Street are able to take over where genuine innovation and engagement left off.  I think many of us would like to see a massive bubble, just so we can move on to other things without feeling like we left a bag on the table.  It seems clear at least from the community level, that Bitcoin has been losing supporters that helped carry the project here, while coveting support from people like Michael Saylor.  It's sad, but so long as we see new highs in the next year, I'll send Michael Saylor a thank you card myself.

I'm not expecting ETF's effect to be that very big. What I'm expecting is the news that it builds that shall create the positive effect to the market.
What is a better take is not just look at the highest or all time highs of bitcoin in the history. But also to look at the all time lows, this is a very encouraging and optimistic part of history that shall make you believe that there's more and better price that will come in the future.

I strongly believe, the ATH last year can be surpassed in the next coming years.
It may not be this year but if the adoption is growing and the demand is continuously increasing.
The probability that we will see another ATH is very high. We can't tell the highest peak yet as its market is still alive.
For those who want to see the positive side, you're right, just think of the all time lows, and you will be encouraged to invest on btc.

Bitcoin hits that peak last year, there’s no doubt about that and the incoming halving could affect the price of Bitcoin again so expect a much expensive Bitcoin.

Despite of the trend right now, Bitcoin is still aiming for the peak price and we are not done yet. The adoption will also happen, so keep your eye watching Bitcoin because the good price is yet to be seen. Don’t ever doubt Bitcoin again, everything is possible here.

The highest price in 2021 did almost make everyone surprised by the achievement of Bitcoin at that time, there were many long term holder who immediately got rich suddenly. The history of bitcoin will not be broken in the past year, we may see new highs in the future, who knows when it is but for sure it will happen. There has been a lot of speculation between 100K as well in the past, it's possible the price will hit that level.

And consider this the year of burning bitcoin.

the year of burning bitcoin may not be a good term. we may witness a rise in Bitcoin to about 100,000 dollars, but we are back again to about 30,000 dollars.

  • The only thing for sure is that it is very difficult to return to levels below 20,000 dollars
  • we are currently close to the bottom and there are many reasons why Bitcoin rises to more than the current levels.
  • we have tried to break the resistance point above 45,000 several times

therefore reaching 50,000 dollars is closer to us than returning to 32,000 or less.

Did bitcoin just become a history in 2021 ago where the price of bitcoin was able to get the most expensive price of $60k and was dubbed the most expensive price in bitcoin history.
And Could there be more history in this year or the price of bitcoin will end up below $60k.
And EFT may return to support bitcoin as it did in 2021 which gives mainstream investors exposure to bitcoin that will be the starting point for the crypto industry and drive greater acceptance of the digital asset on Wall Street.
It happened 2011 then 2014 then in 2017 and again in 2021 so the growth is still on and when you take a look at history just look at it completely. As of now the price is below $40K but it was expected to be in bearish mode but the war mode helped the Bitcoin to recover.

For me now, the only problem I see with Bitcoin's price is volatility. With the current price of Bitcoin and you compare it a few years ago, it is really fantastic, the return is good if you really invested on cheap.
OP also got a point about ETF. Especially if you take a look at Gold, when ETF started in GOLD, the price of the GOLD has rally upside ever since. But for me now, even with or without ETF, it's good.
That's not going anywhere, I am pretty sure that it's one of the many beauties of bitcoin. Also, can't you like use the market volatility to your advantage? Like many people can capitalize on the prices suddenly going down by buying and then waiting for it to go up and then sell it where they get a big profit.

EFT you mean ETF? I thought we already know ETF news is not really important? Sure it gives investor confidence but Bitcoin does not need to be moving in stock markets or index,,, it has strong foundation statistics that grows stronger every year.

Even though retail buying may not be a lot but I still believe people using and spending and trading every day is what eventually puts price at a strong foundation for the FOMO to build on.

What do you mean? for sure you have heard 'all time high'? and that's what we achieved last November.

We might be in a bear market so expect the price to really go down this year.

Forget about ETF? we have been in existence and have reach new height regarding the price, We heard it like in 2018 and so far there is no sight of this ETF.

Yes ETFs are very influential, even the price of gold is still going up and in contrast to the price of bitcoin, which is still decreasing.
But this is not an impossible thing when the price of gold is expensive and bitcoin is declining.  because the price movement of gold and bitcoin is very very much different.

it all depends what will be the results before mid year IMO because indeed 2022 is just started and for me athough market is gradually showing positive signs at the moment its still not a strong proof that there will be a good bounce in the future. So we need more results on this situation especially what is happening on other country that seems crypto market is affected.

Probably we can expect a good results unless Ukraine and Russia relies with crypto because surely there will be a massive impact in the market this year.

But I ask a belief whether all of that will only be history in 2021 only.
It wasn't exactly that different? I mean we're still in the $40k levels, after that rise from 2021, I'm pretty sure we're still standing at a pretty good place. Sentiments are pretty low though due to it dropping off from ath, but again, that's pretty normal imo, we won't see any market that wouldn't have any dumps and only pumps.

The year isn't so favorable so far, but it doesn't mean that it'd go down for the rest. I'd expect a steady movement so far, but reaching a new ATH doesn't seem that likely anymore. But who knows really, the year is still long, we're not even halfway through it.

This year may not that favour bitcoin in price but adoption will still later continues, the purpose of bitcoin is beyond this year but always. I have gone more bearish on bitcoin this year and still thinking the price at $40000 or above is still to much, the price can go below $30000 but this is just for some time, the bull market will start again. After many bull and bear market, bitcoin price will still reach all-time-high.

You do realize that the price of BTC has been far below $60k for a while now, right? or am I missing something here?

I think it's just the beginning because the potential for bitcoin to get another high price is still wide open and it is likely to happen this year or in the years to come. Yes, I believe that there will be more history to come this year and the coming year and it is not only about the price but also how much support bitcoin will receive.

So maybe bitcoin will be something that will attract more people on Wall Street and they will contribute to bitcoin. We still have time to own more bitcoins, so don't miss the opportunity.

This year will probably be a history where the price of bitcoin can rise very high, even three times from the highest price in 2017 and people will remember this as a moment where they probably wouldn't be able to buy bitcoin at the current price if they were in this future. It's like when I saw the condition of bitcoin in 2013 where the bitcoin price was below $1,000 and I can only see it as history and I'm happy to be a part of that history.

You have been in forum since 2017 when the Highest price recorded almost 20,000 $  and yet here you are doubting the capacity of this coin?

and correction it is almost 70k because bitcoin reached more than 68,000$ .

and about ETF? haven't you tired of talking this same thing over and over .

This is not a question of a doubt about the current price of bitcoin.
But I ask a belief whether all of that will only be history in 2021 only.
There is no need to be angry or emotional when someone wants to know because all of that is also a sense of reassurance to others.
It's not that I don't know the development of the bitcoin price from 2017 to 2021 but indeed the price in 2021 was so very different that other people also thought it was the highest price in history.
And consider this the year of burning bitcoin.

Have you been following the price of Bitcoin lately. It passed $60K last year and at the end of the year it almost touched $70K. Why? It was mostly due to the fact that an Bitcoin ETF was listed on the US stock market. It was basically a sell the news event.

Right now Bitcoin is in a tough spot. Due to inflation it should go up but due to correlation with stocks it should go down went stocks go down. There is decoupling from time to time. However in the long term it seems to trade as a risk on asset. Which is not good if a recession presents itself. During a war? Who knows.

According to CoinGecko, Bitcoin has reached the all time high of $69,044.77. That happened on November 10 in 2021. That is around four months ago. So this is the history price of Bitcoin. The near future price is much higher. There will surely be more history for Bitcoin. Adoption is not yet on full throttle. Anything lower than $69,044.77 does not make a special spot in history because it already happened in the past.

ETF is already offered in many places even in the US. Spot ETF is what the US SEC has yet to allow.
