let's stop complaining about what a moderator is or isn't doing and point the finger where it should be pointed at in the first place. AT THE USERS.
Mods are also human like you and me and may miss out something sometimes. Hence is is not "crime" to point out some suggestions.
100% agree that it is not a crime to point out a suggestion but you directly called out a guy who is trying to do his job the best he can. He's not above making a mistake as are none of us, but he can only do so much.

Why not add an option 3 here? That option being if you see a thread with 100 replies in it DON'T FUCKING POST THERE. Sure mods could lock threads but if everyone wasn't acting like a goddamn retard and posting the same opinion over and over and over, we wouldn't be having this problem would we.

You have all the scam ICOs paying these people to make xxx amount of posts per week, so alot of these guys just go post like madmen. Then you have other users with 20-50 accounts making 5-10 posts a day per account not caring which thread they post in just as long as they get their numbers for the week.

Then toss in the new managers that have popped up in the last 2 months who are spammers themselves and don't give a damn about participants and where they post, long as they are getting paid.

So let's stop complaining about what a moderator is or isn't doing and point the finger where it should be pointed at in the first place. AT THE USERS.

Was hilariousandco into vacation for last 6 to 12 months ?

I just wonder why those insubstantial topics were allowed to be discussed to have 1000s of replies and then being trashed down?

I do not have any second opinion about low quality/repeated topics. But my question is, Why did not mods delete/lock/nuke those topics once they were created or at least after having 100/200 replies (just after their purposes being served at least), but doing after a long period and all at once ?

It is a good idea to punish the spammer by deleting their posts so that they will not create new insubstantial topics. But when a whole topic is being deleted all other good posters were also facing the same punishment.

I just want to remind hilariousandco the another option "LOCKING topic" to serve the same purpose. (I am not here to tease anyone, still I just want to show how a higher official is missing their responsibilities).

The good practice must be :
1. New insubstantial topics should be deleted/locked immediately
2. Old insubstantial topics should be locked or moved to off-topic/archive rather than trashing.

I know someone will come and shout you do not have any point due to my rank. But as per speech of freedom and being responsible bitcoiner[1] I create this non-insubstantial topic.

[1] I have made more than 70 people to adopt bitcoins in my town.
