So when are we going to start seeing some action with this 'coin'?  I have a whack of it now and I want to gamble/spend it.  And what's with the seemingly ONE miner that pops in every few hours just to push the difficulty up?

Edits have been made to the code to improve the currency and push it to the next level. I will be creating an announcement thread as time allows this weekend, so keep a look out.

I have no answer to your mining question, but I would expect the difficulty to continue to sky rocket so enjoy it while low. It was .05 a few days ago and surged 1400% to .7 yesterday, now floating in the .35 range. All over the map, but as the announcement comes out, I think you will see a rise and stabilization (or continued rise). Stay tuned my friend and thank you for your mining and support!

So, can I already install it and create a wallet or is it better to wait for the update?

Thanks!

You can go ahead and install. Works fine, just has a checkpoint warning. I am using mine without issue in the interim until I can get max's help.

i cant sync with network?

use this node, which is the block explorer:

addnode=70.98.114.237

Make sure the conf file is: CryptogenicBullion.conf and not cryptogenicbullion.conf (likely doesn't apply to Windows though)

The old Mac client works but doesn't have the update. I will ask Maxpower to create the edited version as he is the expert.

Does the mac client work (the one from Dropbox which is posted by OP)?

Do you need anything else?

Like the name !!!

(Does it have an integrated miner like the old btc client did?)

Seems to be a non-issue.  The old checkpoint.  The client is still connected to the network and recieving payouts from pool. :}

Message has been corrected in the code, just need to build and release new binaries. Stay tuned

Thanks for staying on top of this, those messages are really annoying.  DGC wallet says it's synced but permanently looks like it is in the middle of downloading 100k blocks.  That kind of crap will make general users feel like they are using shoddy or broken software, and doesn't instill confidence. FWIW.

Please download to correct the "Checkpoint too old warning":

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_N4P72HWplSWkw3cnBEel96cVU/edit?usp=sharing

Let me know if anyone has issues with this. Will be making a unique thread to announce this soon with another promotional giveaway shortly...

Elams,

WTF are binaries?!
the exe's and linux app files

Quote
A binary file is a computer file that is not a text file; it may contain any type of data, encoded in binary form for computer storage and processing purposes. Many binary file formats contain parts that can be interpreted as text; for example, some computer document files containing formatted text, such as older Microsoft Word document files, contain the text of the document but also contain formatting information in binary form. When downloading, a completely functional program without any installer is also often called program binary, or binaries (as opposed to the source code).

Curious of the development plans, if any...?

Stay tuned. Announcements coming soon. Mine away while difficulty is low, block rewards high and no current listing on major exchange...

Unbelievable!  you guys are the best!

I remeber going this or something like this in that file on bitcoin, but time had erased the memory!

Just for other make that conf in that folder that thekidcoin and kelsey pointed out and the text in that file should read:

addnode=46.150.89.173
addnode=70.98.114.229
addnode=76.102.71.50
addnode=143.238.65.108
addnode=76.10.153.119
addnode=97.89.174.206
addnode=69.85.86.195

Thanks for help, but problem persists!

Here is what shows when i go to help, console, getpeerinfo:

01:57:25 getpeerinfo

01:57:25

[

Peers do not populate within brackets.

I added nodes from this thread with and without :port# in a cryogenicbullion.config. Where is this config file to be located.  I have it in a folder on my desktop with other CGB files. This is what was in that file:

{
addnode=97.89.174.206
addnode=69.85.86.195
addnode=46.150.89.173:55437
addnode=97.89.174.206:5263
}

That is it.  Am i doing that wrong?  There were more addnodes, but you see what I am talking about.

So, within the client, when i go to settings, Network.  The box is checked for "Map port using UPnP".  However, this grayed out...

Maybe a clue.

Hate to be a pest, but would love this working, so i know I am not sending the cgbs into the ether.  Feel free to provide wallet and I will send tip for helping I can get this thing working
you need the conf file in %appdata%\cryptogenicbullion\
and in *nix its ~/.CryptogenicBullion/cryptogenicbullion.conf
