Yes oo, this kine thread na im beta pass. First of all na you, OP na im I go first thank, for doing this very long research and bringing this one to our knowledge. True true, naija no dey carry last. As I been dey read the thread, I see the stats record of our naija threads, as una where been dey that time take raise am from 82 to 348 within a short period because of una zeal. I for like learn a ring or two from una.

@Igehh, @Charle-Tim, @Mpamaegbu, @CryptopreneurBrainboss , I greet all of una. Una try no be small. You too do well for us, and we dey enjoy the benefits. Thank you, for your hard work. Omo, Since I join this forum, na today I just dey take time to read through this and I go confess say Hatchy really do justice to the thread, the tgread captivate me from the begining till the last word and I really enjoyed reading about how our senior men them for we Naija local board fight really hard to make sure them clear the yamayama perspective wey other people don get about us, I just dey imagine how hard and difficult that must've been, because inasmuch as Hatchy did justice to the thread, i know very well say e go get some notable things/efforts from we Boss them wey e go don forget or omit, or no even dey aware of.

True true no be small sacrifice Una don make for us to clear our reputation, come still press on to make them create this local board for us, e no end there, come still go as far as pressing more button to make them give sub boards for inside we local board, Una well done, I throway salute for all of Una.
Because I remember when I first joined this forum on July 13, 2022, we been never get any local board that time, wetin been dey that time na the Africans Hangout Thread, back then I never really know how far for the forum, I never really understand the dynamics of the forum back then.

But today, many of us here dey enjoy the benefits of this local board, thanks to all our senior men them wey put body to make sure the dreams of Naija gaining recognition on the forum come to pass, e just be like back then when some top men for we country also put body to make sure our country go gain her independence and dey free from the rulership of the oyibo people. We the Naija people appreciate Una efforts and sacrifices, and now e dey left for everyone is to maintain the good reputation Una don give we country for this community.

E go good make all of (especially the new people wey dey join the forum) try out best to adhere to the rules and to no do anything wey go jeopardize the good example wey our Senior men for here to keep. I go say make God bless Una, and make Una dey continue to dey do Una good works for this our local board, true true, Una be leaders and make God bless Una for us.

First of all I wanna thank CryptoprenuerBrainbos and Mpamaegbu for making this place possible regardless, I mean this board is happening. E get waiting our Moderator talk wey I don see so much sense inside, e get some people wey dey bring for this community and because they have been introduced they feel like they have arrived, they feel like they can do without the person that introduced them here. Time will come when they will run back for advise and help because they are yet to arrived. My advise to some people be say no take because say you be graduate and person wey introduce you here no be graduate come dey feel say you go well for this place pass am that one dey sha but note this place is not a school were you can at smart person, always ensure to follow someone that brought you here e get why.

You do really well @Hatchy for creating this thread because I've been wondering how manage wey naija take get their local board whereas e get some country wey I feel say dey strong pass naija globally never get their own local board (it sure feels good to be a Nigerian, the giant of Africa) if no be for the strong head of our senior men Dem wey fight this fight come win am last last, I throwaway salute to una because na una clear road for us to enjoy this forum like this so. Because of this victory I know say this oyibos Dem dey respect us on a low-key because e no dey easy naa and I'm hoping to see an updated thread about the history of our local board in the next ten years, Naija to the world.

From the time wey this world start historical writings has been a part of us. Because if person no write and document about our history we fit forget and lose our identity or take the advantage wey we dey enjoy for granted.

As i dey read this history, e just be like say I dey read about the founding fathers of Nigeria, wey fight for our freedom from the British empire.

And from then  wey CryptopreneurBrainboss create the Naija thread as you write for the history up till now, I don see the kind progress wey we don make for the forum. Three of which be say

• We don manage change the orientation of dem oyibo say Naija people na scammers
• We don also make dem see say for the forum na we, naija people be one of the hardest working and fastest group of all local boards.
• We don also make dem see say our contribution to the forum dey very important and dem nor fit ignore am.  

Actually this thread Dom really sweet me for body to read. Sometimes I feel very proud when I see say we naija get where we fit feel free to discuss our own things the way we like and write for our own local language wey Dem call am ( pidgin ) really if no be this local board many for fit no go this far sef, with this our own naija board we fit dey drop the small small English wey we ourself fit understand wey be say we no really need to enter search engines everytime to know wetin something mean before we fit understand.

And the moral lesson when I learn from those heroes wey fight for the local board na say make we always remember our own make we think the future and use our opportunity to create something tangible wey others fit benefit from like this see as their name Dom write for world something kudos for their great intelligence to remember their brothers.

Op you really tried for the arrangement of everything here but I didn't see this thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/proposal-for-naija-nigeria-lb-sub-boards-creation-5473185 which was di last request for the creation of di local Moderator and more merit sources. So it is good add am because dat e make sense and help to facilitate di bringing of the Moderator and the additional merit source. We really appreciate all di brave men and women in di local board. You are indeed a very good reader for taking out time to observe and come up with the names you mentioned here because from your profile you're just one month old in the forum and you already have an idea of how the Nigerian Local Board came to existence and the names that started pushing for it. If really you are a beginner as said by your profile then I think you're going to do very well with research and come up with other useful information that will be beneficial to the forum and the Nigerian Local Board.

Omo, op really take time to arrange this thread, cudos to him, e no easy to post thread like this one, you really dig out how it all started and the information needed to make it easy for the newbies to understand the process how it all emerge to this point today.

@Marvelockg you just speak my mind,  the great men that fought for this local board, should be proud of themselves to see their dream been actualized,nothing sweet pass say you dey alive see say ur dream come to reality.

And if them maintain the unity among themselves,  greater things go reach this board, make disagreement cause issues among them, make them know say the hope of all newbies dey on them. I knw sat them no go disappoint.

This is just so incredible and got me really speechless. Indeed, there is always a story before any glory. Look at us now coming from behind to enjoy the labour and effort our people had to go through just to secure a spot for us on the forum and here we are with not just a local board but one of the most active board we have on the forum.

Now I understand why it bothers most of our senior men on the board when a member of our local board goes to the English board to create an irrelevant thread that speaks bad of our local board reputation.

Thanks boss @hatchy for doing this great work in compiling and structuring this piece in this manner. This should be a must read for all Nija newbies that are joining the forum and it will serve as a great encouragement to all of us to know that we have a voice and people in the global Bitcoin community.

@brainboss you sef Don try, you deserve accolade too, mk God bless una wey fight for the local board to come to limelight. E no easy say out of all Africa countries na Naija first get local board,  e show say una wey be big shoes for the board they represent wella. Naija no go carry last, we go make una too happy for this local board, as you don talk am, we go try make we dey creative post and thread to push the local board forward,  our population go help us achieve everything una want. I say make I join mouth hail una too.

For sure we don try for ourselves for this localboard activities and pursuit as as you talk am slow and steady win the race and at this point we are going to remain consistent pursuit in building this community and as you said e make sense make we bring up such celebrations when we go do our anniversary, 5 years and 10 years anniversary too make sense at least by then alot of things go done change and we go done get clear compass as for we're we dey and how we go move forward from that point,although we have done extremely well in this short time,  but there is still more to be done that only time can say.

So we go wait and also keep putting everything in order to position our localmore in the limelight, and all thanks to other forum members for the love and support they have shown to the naija community on the bitcointalk forum infact some time I use to think that we are the most loved community around here,considering how we started and were we are presently.

I had no idea there was so much history; the struggle seemed like yesterday, but it's been almost two years and there have already been some amazing events. I've been hunting for that translation for a long time because I saw someone produced the same translation last year. I believed I did more than one translation that year, but I don't remember anything anymore. I stopped since the nature of the thread at the time made it inconvenient for other people.

I don update our local board history with the new dates wey Dem give us Localboard moderator and the subboard creation date. so far we dey happy well well as our Localboard don dey do well sofar and come look presentable. Una do well, Igebotz and all our members wey dey make quality post for we local board and present us well outside main board.
