Hitbtc.com is controlled by the FBI/ Illuminatti
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/hitbtccom-is-a-scamsite-beware-2217068

This is a company that is now dissolved BUT the still have the banking relationships to move the millions of dollars they handle for the customers. If you know how the cripto world works you know how almost impossible it is to get a banking relationship for a large cripto business.VISA has canceled all bitcoin debit cards and many companies have to move to remote parts of the world just to do business. How can a company that used to say it was registered in the USA, deleware be robbing so many people for years and still have a banking relationship? They are a conspiracy with the government this is why they do not need need to be registered and they still have banking relationships.

Why does Hitbtc work so slowly? They seem to be a trusted entity but people keep talking about them being slow with transactions. Does anyone have thoughts on this and any success stories with them??

Firstly, they are definitely not trusted. That's why they have negative trust on bitcointalk. They also accept money to list a coin on their site, which usually means that they don't care about the customers as much as getting people to list coins on their site. There has been a ton of people who has had their HitBTC accounts compromised even though there was sufficient security measures and it was unclear if it was a breach from the inside.

If you're talking about support being slow, HitBTC from what I gather definitely has some slow support responsiveness.

Do expect to wait up to a few weeks for your ticket just to be handled, and the answer always seem pretty automated. But their speed of deposits and withdrawals are probably around the same as other sites, although I definitely wouldn't use them if I were you.

Why does Hitbtc work so slowly?

I'm curious, have you solved your problem yet?
I'm more curious of what was his problem or does he really has a problem?

I read his main post all over again and thought that, he was just asking (maybe before using the site?) because he said "people keep talking about them being slow with transactions." If he was the one who encountered it, he won't mention other people's issue but his.

Slow on what?

If you are talking about trade executions, it's working fine and smooth, at least in my own experienced and just tested it as of Im typing this.

If you are talking about withdrawals and deposits, that's the main concern of their users. The complaints about missing deposits and withdrawals has tremendously increases this year on which some of them are I think almost a year in the making and some are not answered or ignored.

I still have some altcoins playing on their platform and never did experience any major problem despite lots of complaints. But in here, it's a good reason for a new user not to used the site for the first time to minimize the risk of being caught on shit.

They seem to be a trusted entity

trusted entity?

No.

Caution! Keep away from HitBTC

they have no address and we do not even know they are the owners, they are anonymous, but there is this interesting investigation about the possible hitbtc owners:

Hitbtc.com about to be dissolved

Quote
According to their legal page, the official legal entity of hitbt.com is "HIT Solution Ltd." https://hitbtc.com/legal-information

A quick lookup of company records reveals that an application to strike the company off the records was filed on Oct 6th. https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/09239668/filing-history

The First Gazette notice from Oct 17th states that the company will be stricken-off and dissolved within 2 months of the notice, so either hitbtc.com was dissolved on Dec 17th or is about to be de-listed.

The final notice states: "Upon dissolution all property and rights vested in, or held in trust for, the company are deemed to be bona vacantia, and accordingly will belong to the crown."

The company was incorporated in Sep 2014 under the names of Natasha Ferguson and Marlon Ferguson.

These names might be a decoy to throw us off. I still suspect that Georgii Basiladze, the owner of the now defunct "Hit Techs Limited", is the real mastermind.

Here are the addresses of the people involved:

Georgii Basiladze Flat 3 92 Wilton Road London United Kingdom SW1V 1DW

Natasha & Marlon Ferguson 71 Gloucester Road Croydon England CR0 2DL

           https://www.reddit.com/r/hitbtc/

we will still discover many shady things about this exchange.

Though i have made some transactions on them, but i make sure that its just a small amount because im aware of what scam accusations that throwing towards this site
In most cases HitBtc does solve its matters, but it can take a very long while, which is the main concern. I can't comment on certain cases where people claim to have been scammed, but it is worrying enough to avoid it.

HitBtc has always been an exchange with a mixed user base. Half of them has never encountered an issue, while the other half is going through problems and annoyances all the time.

If I was a newbie looking for an exchange, after properly researching each possible exchange, there wouldn't be much left other than Binance and a few other exchanges behind it like Bittrex. It has grown this large for a reason.

Binance's current 24h volume hovers well over the $3 billion mark, which is insane. Not that long ago it was the new kid on the block, and now it's THE kingpin.

I used the site once, deposited > exchanged > then withdraw. No problems encountered, but I stopped using the site after that because of the issues I've read about it.

I've experienced it, not only delay but difficult to receive key into the email. But immediately inform to the HITBTC, later they will soon fix.
This could be due to heavy server activity
