Humm after reading this post am not in line with majority of the comments.Hitbtc is a cool exchange for me and asides from the recent reduction in fees which i most confess is a welcome idea, i cant hitbtc as one of the best exchange i have ever used in cryptospace... 0.07% is a really low commission. It’s a pity that I am not an active trader. With my trading volumes I had no problems with them. Although I did not need to withdraw funds. They clearly do not want anyone to withdraw funds from their accounts Grin

The Lowest Fees on the Market

Quote
There’s no place like home. And for the modern-day digital asset trader, home is where the order book is. At HitBTC, we couldn’t be prouder of the community of traders that has helped us cultivate this space and turn what was just a dream a little over five years ago into the digital home of innovators and next-gen economy builders.

We want to accommodate our community as best we can, and give them an unbeatable experience in our digital backyard. We have been able to do this by offering an industry-leading number of trading pairs and an intuitive and helpful interface, among other things. But we are always looking for ways to do better and bring more to the table.

Therefore, we are really happy to announce that we have overhauled our maker-taker fee tier system and drastically slashed our trading fees.

I have used HitBTC in the past, however, I' not actively trading on that platform because of fake volumes. Although I don't have issues with them in the past, I just decided to look at other exchanges. So I was quite surprised to see this supposedly "The Lowest Fees on the Market".

Are competition that tough nowadays that to be able to compete they have lowered the fees.

Any thoughts on this one?
HitBTC has cause a lot of troubles with its users back in 2018! like blocking without reason, freezing of assets etc. thats why even they remove the trading fees i dont want to use it anymore because im already experience the kind of service they offered and for me it worse and not safe sorry!

I have an account with them but never traded there because of accusations that they do lock people account and will never open it, coupled with their notorious withdrawal fee which is against freedom that cryptocurrency seeks.

I always find hitbtc shady and tried to avoid using it.

Even it doesn't take any fee, i would still not use it. So they need to do something different than lowering fees for giving trust to the people.

The high fee charges is true of Hitbtc. This reduction now should be a good development. Expectedly, it should drag aggrieved clients back to the exchange. I have a Hitbtc account and I only use it when it's unavoidable - if the coin of choice I want isn't listed on any other exchange. And I haven't used that account for almost a year now. Perhaps I will have to revisit that account to see for myself how things are at the exchange.

I have not used the exchange for a long time and during using HitBTC I have never experienced any problems, which made me decide not to use HitBTC anymore due to wd fees and also the policy that traders cannot sell all the coins or token they deposited. If you see the price of the coin or token goes up but we can't do anything just stuck there very annoying.

Scam exchange.

Too many scam reports on reddit. They mostly do selective scamming. Stay away.
