Hold is an excellent strategy for people who do not have the skills to trade on the stock exchanges. The only condition for success in such a strategy is how right the choice of the project was, as a goal, for investment.
I think HODL is good for people who are really ready to invest because HODL is like you are ready to hold on your Assets for a long time, HODL&CALM are great combination 
Holding a coins sometimes force us to keep on being patient, since looking on the market that keep on dropping making us feeling worried if the coins keep on falling and we loose even more if we aren't sell the coins at this moment.
Crypto is still strong and able to give hope for a good future, trust in crypto is still quite high and prices will definitely rise again.
It's still strong if you based on where we started, bitcoin especially started from cents and now worth thousand dollars.
The market is not strong now if based on the previous years, from the time we reached the ATH, now price still continue to dump, and it cause panic.
Keep holding and patiently waiting, because it seems like the next few months the crypto price will increase, because almost a year the price has tended to fall to date.
I'm still holding, because I was here before the price pump last 2017 so I've seen a lot of dump in the past, I'm stronger now and I can hold longer.

if the crypto is not yet established, then we can say we can avoid it or do not enter its risk but since its already out with a good trust in the market, there's no reason now for us to avoid it.

This is a good saying from a king. But I feel hungry when I look at the price of my token and coin. Sometimes I lost my temper but I didn't know what to do with it. The more you hold, the poorer.
So you need to have the power to hold your token and coin because the time's will comes for you to see the price increase again. You don't have to worry because the market will recover soon and I think we almost see it's happening. But if you still have more money and you have a skill in trading, I suggest you try trading because I see that you have a good chance to buy low and sell high in many coins. But still aware while you watch and analyze the coins because of the bear market still on there and we need to focus on our trade to make a profit.

Markets always reward patience in the end. Everyone here will be happy if they just hold for a few years and bitcoin is back over 20k and altcoins will be through the roof as well. We have seen this same thing play out time after time and some people never seem to learn, all you have to do is look at past charts and learn this.
This is what i am always saying in some forums. I do saying hold and calm because everything will be under the nature trends of Cryptocurrency. This year 2019 will be the year of bouncing back and recovering. We are all benefited of it that's why be patience and continue hard work.

I'm not feeling any calm at all on this current market condition because I'm at loss but all I can do is just to hold my altcoins and wait for them to rise up high again. Hoping that at the end of 2019 my altcoins will finally give me good profits.
I see many people selling off their wallets and I laugh at them. Because the future will hit them by surprise. All the tokens I hold may not moon much but I can pick out a few among them whose devs are working tirelessly even in this bear market
I like the sound of that phrase, Hold and calm. But that is when you are holding coins or tokens with potentials, I'm talking about those with good projects, product and a devoted team. Some team members sell off, that turns the tokens to shit.
