Cryptocurrencies are existing and very developed in the present and will certainly be quantum science in the future. Everything will pass, unhappy things will pass quickly. 
We have a long way to go. I also hope it is still alive as the cryptocurrency market will recover soon after a lot of excitement about Bakkt's launch, the market is not too surprised.

If you are invested in a reputable altcoin or to an OG one then you don't need to worry about the risk of losing all of it by not just watching it actively. If you want to hold and to become calm, you should only buy the altcoins that are strong enough to stand in bearish markets and also to have a team behind it that are consistent and hardworking. 
I a very calm because I went through many storms in this game of Cryptocurrency and my wife has suffered a lot more than myself as she put in too much of her time and energy into it, but she is picking up some good gems now and works full time now for one blockchain company and earns her salary in Bitcoin, so she is a lot more content now and believes that there is a new dawn coming, maybe not as fast and furious like 2017 and early 2018, but something more long term and solid coming to help which is more of what we need. We need mass adoption and long term holders who are looking at crypto for the next generation and also for their pension plan and savings.

now no one believes, because prices have been broken since they were HODL, and prices are getting worse !, many coins have decreased by 90% since ATH 2017, this makes the word HODL increasingly hated people

hold until you become a bag holder... holding a coin/token have a specific time and value if you think youre holding too long as the value goes up and down then you are waiting forever be wise there is nothing wrong with holding as long as you earn while having it
Hold and hold , buy more bitcoins if you want and then stay calm, everything will be okay and will go to the right place. Keep calm because if you are not, you will going to lose everything due to emotional breakdown of yours. Market is frustrating we need to stay calm. For sure it will, people are just getting tired of waiting. A lot of investors are just loosing hope, because nothing changes for a while. But still, altcoins and crypto are here to stay, everything will get better with BTC halving in 2020.
The markets are a waiting game, those that are the most patient are the ones that get the most profits, so if people are getting impatient and do not want to wait anymore and are ready to sell their coins do not join them, that is a sign not only that the market could keep going down for quite a while but it is also a sign that you are getting less competition and that in the future your profits are going to be even bigger than what they could have been because those people are basically giving you their future profits to you.

Truly is. It is just a matter of proving that "patience is a virtue". Despite of all the odds we are currently facing right now, we must remain optimistic that time will come that all of our burdens being felt right now will soon to be healed once the market gets into hype once again. As of now, what we can just do is to remain calm and keep our hands and accounts tight into holding our Bitcoins as well as Altcoins and do not be tempted to sell it just to save yourself from getting into the bottom. All of this is just a challenge we need to pass so we need to be positive enough that all is possible to happen in perfect timing and that includes the hype of the market once again that if it is not right now, maybe sooner or later. What the important thing is that it will come. Even unexpectedly.
The market is very tiring. I need a very strong psychology. I'm a long-term planner. I'm taking a bitcoin and putting it aside. I think you'il make me happy after a long time. Time goes by so quickly. We need to suppress our excitement.

Patience, calamity, are skills that can be learned, this troubled times when prices are like on rollercoaster are good times to practice both. Literally everyone should have some amount for holding and some amount for fun and trying different things in crypto.
Truly it's easy to say than practice when you are faced daily with all these calamities crypto users face daily. Most times I think crypto trading and investment is not for individuals with heart issues because of the high volatility. Personally, I can only hold bitcoin at the moment

Holding a garbage coin or token for a long time is not a good idea. If you are trying to achieve a big goal you should invest in a good quality project and hold them for the right moments. Crypto is a very promising place to invest you just need to select the right project and be clam because the price will rise in time if project is strong.
In terms of shitcoins, let's check their community, their roadmap, or their platform if it has really a development, if there's no development at all then it is time for us to move on and let's find other ways for us to be able to make money and not just ranting and crying in some place that our holdings did not met our expectation, we should stand up and let's find other ways.There's a lot out there that are worth holding at.
