I don't really know what to do now. The price is dropping fast and we are still quite far from the 1st August. I think the price will continue to fall, since a lot of people are "panicking" right now and selling all their bitcoins, and probably going to buy again, if things go well after the split.
If you loosing money then that's the point where you kick start selling your bitcoins or whatever investment you have gotten. Always be at break even point even though you think you have invested lots of money. Holding is opportunity when the price is rising but the reverse is not. People keep saying that you should hold even though you are in loss because the prices recovers as the time will pass. For me that's not comfortable and I usually sell before it's too late.
It will depend on your plan bro. There are coins I am planning to hold for some 5 months or so and even if it reaches 10% of my investment I will still hold on to it. The price will of course dip as there will always be fluctuations along the way but I am looking forward to a long term-gain. There are also coins that are bought and traded short time. You must have different plans for different trading pairs. There will be no meaning of holding your altcoins but you must keep on holding your bitcoins regardless of how big dumps will be happening as of now.If you will be holding for at least next five months, definitely you can see bitcoin will be trading above $3000 price levels. That is the minimum guarantee we can get from bitcoin holding but this type of definite profits will not be possible with the any other altcoin holding.

I don't think so, I believe bitcoin will become even stronger these days. The price is quite good already and as long it will remain good at $2,00 there's no need to sell or think that it will go lower. Maybe it can go lower, there will always be a chance but I'm not think about it because I'm always being optimistic when it comes to crypto.
It is going to bounce back for sure, we don't have to panic and do the hype of selling our bitcoins. We are just giving those whales more time to buy a lot of bitcoins from their early profit when the price was at peak and they just sold. Most of the people that are panicking now are the newbies or new investors that has a thought of fear for this upcoming fork.
Right, I also believe in bitcoin and even if its price go down I will take it as an advantage to buy bitcoin. I have been saving in case something like this happen. These news and announcements about the split really got me worried for days. I was torn between deciding if I am going to hold or sell all of it. In the end, I decided that I’ll divide it and I have converted some in to fiat money. In case the split bring unlikely happenings. I still have cash and I still have bitcoin.
In the meantime, I decided to withdraw some of the fiat, not because of the split but because I needed some money.

Usually I analyze the coin for several days. And if we see there is a drastic increase then I will definitely sell it, but if the price goes up gradually I will be a little more patient to hold back.

Good for you mate, you had good sense of financial management, and collecting your bitcoin as well as saving is a good opportunity in the future rise of the price. We are now at a low price of bitcoin compare from biggest spikes happened, that's why holding is better than selling it all so that you may double your btc up and up until the top is hit up to $3000.

Actually i dump my bitcoins last week when the price is at its peak for this month since im doubting for the august month since the issue of split might give bad effects on it and look what happen now looks like the bad delimna is already occuring and i think my choice to dump is not wrong to see the red state are now happening at this point. But lets hope their would be no big dip that will happen august.
That's okay, you have dumped your Bitcoin and earn profit from there and also the Bitcoin's price right now seems getting dumped as you can see on altcoins right now. Maybe because holiday time and for sure the price will be up again.
Price may go even lower in coming days so I am waiting for that so that I can invest money in altcoins when price goes even lower so that will make a bit easy for me to make some profits in quick time as price may start going higher in next month so that would be the right time to sell them.
bitcoin price has a very good support at this point therefore i do not think that the price of bitcoin can fell down any more therefore i think if you can manage to hold or even manage to buy more then you have a very good chance.
I think those people who want to make more money they need to hold bitcoin. but I think everyone has their own choice,. some people like to invest money in bitcoin eve in current position, they are still confident about the future of bitcoin and therefore they want to invest more and more more money in bitcoin.
