Ok gents. Here we are, BTC < $2000. When the weak knees begin to tremble and fall while anyone with real sand will be left holding a profit.
What say ye boys? When to buy?
I'm calling BTC @ $1700 for a buy. Let's open it up for discussion.
Well you see the price dropped down, you said that everyone who sell their Bitcoin are idiots, you said that it was a good time to buy Bitcoin but how can you make sure that Bitcoin will rise again or keep going down? We all know that Bitcoin price was going high but at that time, we were all blind, we couldn't see anything into that?

$1700 as a weak leg to buy bitcoin I doubt that bitcoin will get back to that level. The weakest point now base on technical indicators is $2000 and if that circle is break as at now then expect the price to fell to $1,500 and even $1000! August first is here staring at us time shall tell.

Bitcoin is now back for good and is trading at the $2,700 - $2,800 range. When it made a dipped into $2,000 that was already a great opportunity to snap some Bitcoin and you could have made a good return of investment if you sell now what you bought days ago. This is just telling us that amid so many FUD around Bitcoin remains to be solid. And this is also telling us what can possibly happen when the dust can get cleared after August 1. I rather hold my Bitcoin for now than make myself sorry later.

Buy bitcoin when price is low but the downside is you have to stare and wait at your computer until its price dips down.

That's not a downside at all, but just something you personally see as such. Instead of waiting and staring at the exchange tickers, you could just set yourself some strategically placed buy orders on various lower levels. If the price happens to fall down, which in most cases always happens to a certain extent, you'll (1) never miss out on buying at lower levels, and (2) you can do whatever you want without worrying about what and when the market is going down. In the last months there have been various great dip buying opportunities - if people still didn't manage to buy those dips, they are just too dumb to take advantage of them. Or they are dreamers waiting for the price to drop even further, where from there they completely miss out due to the price going back up again.

I believe, that bitcoin will not only beeing stable but continue now its updrive. Sometimes it will drop on a very short term, but the main line will show a continious up, I think, because there was worked out a good solution for August 1.

As I have observed lately and since August 1 is coming, bitcoins price usually decreases around this time of the week or during weekends. Buy bitcoin when price is low but the downside is you have to stare and wait at your computer until its price dips down. Buy and hold until August 1 passses through and let's see what the outcome is after the split, and hopefully bitcoin will increase back again.

To buy btc at the rate 2000$/btc was better opportunity to buy the bitcoin , Actually many times a condition entered in the market of the bitcoin where people don't like to have the bitcoin because of the down in the market and due to many newbie to get panic of the down in the price . But with the panic of newbie other also get into fear .
So during the down in the market , buy step by step in installments and make every unit of increase in the price of the btc.
Here I myself bought 0.4btc when price was touching to 2000$ but many of my friends told me that why you are taking risk but my descion was good and I made profit in the current time of about 300$+ .
So when market goes down , don't panic and take the advantages of down in the market .

Buy it when it's price is low and you can afford to buy it then Hold it to rise again then sell, easy profit.
It just is theory, do that very difficult. Not have trader can sure they always earning profit on market not have wrong choose, because when the market bearish, we not know when time is lowest price and bounce or still countinue falldown.

I will say anything below $2000 is good buy point, the one who haven't got opportunity to buy bitcoins below $2000 before now have chance to make easy profit of over 50% in short term by just buying bitcoin under $2000.

Price can easily recover to over $3000 when all this panic on market will be over.
but i am not expecting that the price of bitcoin will come down below 2000$ i am sure that it will be trading above 2000$ and very soon after 1st August the price of bitcoin will start raising again and hopeful that this time it will cross 4000$ dollar very smoothly, therefore it is too much important to hold bitcoin and not to sell it. because after 1st August it is more expected that the price will start rising again.

The significant drop today was really unexpected for me. It's now hovering about $2000, and if this bloodbath continues, we might see it below $2000 levels again after a long time. But for me, I will not wait till it gets $1700 as I will buy it with the current price. You still gonna get a huge profit if the price goes to $3000 and above in the end of the year. You have to take advantage of the price dip, otherwise you will miss a lot of opportunity to get huge profit. After the dust has settled in Aug 1, bitcoin price will go the moon as expected.

That is the stupidest question I've ever heard. There is no question of when to buy and when not to buy it is simply a matter of signals.
Fud and News are not the right way to make your decisions.

Exactly and those signals are going to tell you what to do you can't predict it ahead of time more than by say 3 or 4 days. Trading has now become a technical game and not just the up/down of the coins.

Now again bitcoin come back at $2023.
It show us bitcoin will be down more.
Than in this time, i definitely tell you that if you buy bitcoin in a low price of $2000 than sell you bitcoin.
Because in the coming bitcoin will be more down.
But now the time is coming when we have a chance to buy the bitcoin again in a low price.

It doesn't needs a discussion wherein we can set our own price when to buy and hold what we buy .Buy and hold at lower price keep your bitcoins better in a hardware wallet . I knew it may go down at $1700 or more so im still waiting on my own.  You already answered your question when to buy so its done.

setting up 1 price to buy at is not a good idea at all.
your first assumption in trading should always be that things will never be in your favor.
lets say you placed an order on $1700. two different scenarios will happen.
1. price will drop to $1990 and back up
2. price will drop to $1500 and back up.

in first case you are boned, majorly Wink
in second case you have at least bought bitcoin but missed the bottom.

my proposal is to place multiple buy orders. if you think $1700 is the bottom (really speculate it not just guess a random number just because!) then set some orders around that number but spread them in a way to cover both scenario 1 and 2.

yep,you are right.
but your position is not right, place an order in the bottom (or we called it support/floor) and split your money to 3,from chart we can see first support is around 2000$,you place an order in there (place the lowest percentage of your money in there because likely we will break that support).second place is around 1,500~1700$ it's middle support from my view and lastly put your money around 900$ it's final support,
many people afraid we will se re-history of 'the dead' like back then in 2014ish (even thought back then one of the biggest factor was Gox'ed).
Well everything can be happen in cryptoworld

If you really want to buy bitcoin at a certain price, I suggest you to set a target amount for bitcoin will for sure go below $2000 and it is just a matter of time before it reaches that amount. I myself already set a target price to buy bitcoin so I don't have to open everyday and check if it has reached that amount. After you bought your bitcoin, hold them. Don't wait for bitcoin to go down on a certain amount.
