what might you lose moment when the price goes up because your coins are just held? why not try trading with sell setting possible?
Does hold a coin in a long time all not necessarily get profit, especially if we are holding a fairly new coin.

Choosing a better coins in holding like the most trusted coins is bitcoin or eth are the good coins to hold. Imagine if you would have only been holding bitcoin or eth for all these years what kind of gains you would have made.
This is true. Choose carefully tokens for holding and diversificate your risks. Because if you hold ten or even more tokens and one of them fo to the moon. You can earn more than you spent. Also holding is not a law - if you feel that you have to sell tokens. Just sale it and try to earn money with traiding. 
I don't think holding will make you bad or the idea of holding is bad. It only depends on people if they like to hold or not but holding can give us a good momentum if our holdings is going deep for a long time. Like what happen in the past months. All of my coins were down but i had not sell any of them instead i bought more just to even my expenses with my investment.
I hold 3 coins espers-(3 years),insane-(2 years),html - (5 years) 
and price is the same....no moon ....I dont trust to holding anymore,any suggestions?
No one can guarantee you that after one, two, three years the price of tokens will be moon. agree with you sir, never hold an altcoin, turn them to etherium or bitcoin, it more worth than any altcoin. 
Hodling is the best way you can take advantage of the coins you have, but it still depends on the counter you're hodling. You have to know f it has great future and of course there are lots of people who can share Infos about what coins are best to hodl. Take for example coinmarketcap, you can very well chose on that site coz you can see those top cryptos and Altcoins in real time, and see more details about it. In the end, it is still you who will decide which ones you will trust in, and your decision will determine your future.
Apparently, holding is no bullshit. Well, if you are holding shitcoins then you expect that after 2 to 5 years, what you will get is bullshit. But take a look at the price of Bitcoin, for example, at least a couple of years back. It will instill in you that holding is not bullshit. Or perhaps take a look at the prices of Litecoin or IOTA or Ethereum or Monero, and so many more coins two years ago. Holding is money.
hodl good alcotnics will give you a lot of profit, but do not buy coins that do not have a good work product. You need to be able to analyze well in order to select promising coins that will bring profit in the future.

I think first you do if you planning to hold a coin is research the coins that you selected because all coins are not good like your coins hold so that for me holding is good because many investors become rich because of holding a coins the important of that is patience and wait the exact time and good coins.

Your profit sleeps. Others don't want a vacant profit. But to the bitcoin holders they patiently wait for the price increase. Because they know that they will profit more than they expect. They will earn 10times or more. Because bitcoin is for a long time profit.
Holding is the best strategy for me, really believe in the projects i invested in so im very calm. I'm holding my coins for a long time so i don't mind if the price goes down (i don´t even check the price).

but the issue is it depend what you are holding man! if you was holding BTC ETH in 5 years you never post this kind of post but i guess you was holding shitcoins so it doesnt change price because the coin have no utility, anyway never feel sad for something past but just think of the future and be optimist

It does not work that, you invest in anything, you wait and collect the estate.
You did not get profit because your coins are shitcoins. If you want holding any coin on few years you must do detailed analysys about coin which you are interested, because if you do not do this you will get nothing

If you' ve made decent profits then take profits and wait to for the dips to buy back your position.
Holding its like a buy and hold and nothing need to do with that , do not need any practic for that , for day trading you need to known a lot to work with that and earn profit but with holding is very nice tactics for noobs.
For me holding is not a bullshit, holding is one of the best strategy here in crypto, and i believe that holding our coin for long time can help us to became very profitable in the future, just like holding bitcoin and ethereum for long time, i know that it can give us many money. Jump to:
