The new vaccine by Pfizer and biontech looks really promising. With a 90% immunity it could really be the breakthrough we desperately need. The government already ordered 100 million doses of the vaccine and with grown people needing 2 shots it would mean that around 65-70% of the population could be vaccined. The only thing I am scared of is the side effects, there is not much information available yet.

Its really  good to know that the possible vaccines are already available,  it will be the answer  for all those hope that everyone are looking for, possible to live now like normal just incase that  this vaccine really  works and cure all  those people that still infected  by this virus,  many of us are still scared with how this pandemic affects the whole world.

The only thing is that possible side effects of this vaccine we are not sure if it's 100% free from  anything that may affects  us, maybe it won't be there  after you take the shot but the possibilities that there's  something that may affects the immune  system or something that will  lead our bodies to suffer after some years.

It is nice to see the world have a common enemy that isn't each other, so many things have changed in the last year and it has really put life into perspective. The fact that there are multiple possible vaccines, being created in several different countries, shows the ingenuity that people can put into a task that can save billions of lives. If only we put as much effort into protecting the environment and wildlife, many more things could be accomplished. Along with keeping your distance and lots more testing abilities, it is looking increasingly likely that we will be able to get back to normal after a year of disaster. The sooner we can put 2020 behind us, the better Smiley

If vaccine is ready , then we can say that it could be the end of corona virus because we already have weapon to fight against it. But as long as vaccine is not ready and there is no tentative date if when it will become available in all countries, then we should still take care of ourselves and continue to follow the health protocol so that we can avoid to become affected of that virus.

I think that there are so many corrupt persons in government of several countries but they are working some how for their peoples, many media persons are investigating and exposing them. for virus end I have heard that pfizer pharma have announced corona medicine but dont know when it will come to market and available for all peoples of all countries. But for sure we have to be carefully and try to defeat the virus with our positivity and will power.

I think, our politicians aren't used to actually handle these type of things. These pandemic stuffs happen like so rare and once in a century or even rarer! Can't really blame them.

Corona isn't a very fatal virus specially for those with high immunity, so I think, it would be better to have herd immunity like getting infected and survive, so it won't infect again because of antibodies in our body which is created. It's going to take a while for the vaccine to be created though.
There are a lot of politicians who have a hard time controlling the virus and there are only few politicians who reverse the growth of the active cases in just weeks like the good governance of Taiwan and also Vietnam where they easily beat the covid 19. We cannot blame the government if we are experiencing hard time due to the pandemic, what we can do is to follow the strict protocol that they are given in the public. It must be follow in order for us to see the decrease of the covid infection in different communities. The recovery rate in my country is now increasing and it is because of the system that is continuing to improve. I'm one of the people who are hoping that a vaccine will already finished before the 2020 ends.

I got your points here. Based on my observation here in my country, it seems that the Government are just using this Corona Virus disease as an excuse and shield through all the corruptions that was being made in any national departments. We had been fighting for several months and we clearly saw how the Governments in each countries handled this crisis so far. And its a shame that severe corruptions had been exposed here in my country, and a lot of people are struggling without getting any assistance from the Government. Its really sad to realized that some highest leaders were spending those money that supposed to be for the people. I really hope and pray that this covid-19 crisis will end soonest and we can all recover from all the losses.

Few days back we have very good news about new vaccine is ready and working to end nearly 90% of this virus but still its going to take sometime because its not easy for all countries to have this all very quickly start their work in this way right now developed countries giving their orders and have some big amount in companies for this all and after this some poor and developing countries are going to have this all which will take time and until now they have to face this all even some good number of casualties.

Not to rain on anyone's parade but I've just seen a doctor say on TV that with people getting the vaccine starting in January, we will see the effect after 6 months.

So 6 more months having to deal with social distanciation, intermittent lockdowns, work from home...

Probably good for Bitcoin, bad for the economy.
The problem is we all don't know what will happen to the vaccine for the next 6 months, if it is good then this vaccine will not have any effect, but if this vaccine breaks then it is likely that humans will be exposed to more deadly viruses than the current virus that is spreading, because the corona vaccine is indeed a faster manufacturing process.

We all know that vaccines can generally be used after 8-10 years of development and research so that we can know that the vaccine is safe to use and tested for the long term.

No one really knows or expects that the pandemic would come in our lives, that is why the government wasn't ready on how to solve this kind of huge problem in their country. We shouldn't also blame everything to our government even they make wrong decisions because it isn't easy to lead a country, and we still have the rights to follow them to avoid spreading the virus.

Having a vaccine is really the only solution to defeat or cure the virus, but making a vaccine or a cure for the virus is a long time progress just to provide every citizens all over the world.

Even with a vaccine, things may not go back to normal. There's some indication that the virus will be like the flu where the virus may be somewhat effective against certain strains but it mutates year-to-year and we still have a Covid season like there is a flu season. Covid may be here to stay going forward.

This virus did the same for everywhere, messed up everything and made a lot of people to be so damn broke. It wasn’t easy, and the worst part is that the economy wasn’t helping at all, the price for foodstuffs were going up and before you know it you have spent up all your money because of food. So, it wasn’t easy at all.
This virus attack almost all countries in the world and has become a weapon of economic disruption for the country and also the world. There is nothing wrong with blaming the government for its effort to prevent and handle these case. They can still absorb fund from various source only because some of them are corrupt and the small people have to bear the consequences of greed. The cost of living has increased, social welfare has decreased and many people have lost their jobs.

However, it seem that now thing are getting better, especially in the country or where I live because all community activities are running smoothly like all but still adhere to health protocol. I am sure the virus is still there, but it seem that people are no longer afraid to carry out activities so that the worst impact on the economy and welfare can be minimized.

As for you blaming your country’s government, well, that’s like a normal thing almost everyone did; like in my country the government didn’t lockdown our borders earlier and prevent people from going in and out, and that led to more and more cases being found and by the time they decide to lockdown it was already late and number of cases were growing.

If there is a specific medicine/vaccine for covid 19 virus then we are hoping that it is the end of corona virus. But, as long as there is no definite medicine yet, we can't avoid the virus to spread everywhere.
A vaccine is out if you have been following the news. There were so many organizations working on creating vaccine for coronavirus and Pfizer is the first to come up with one that works. So, since we now have a vaccine, it’s a matter of when it’s going to be available and how many they will be able to produce this year to be able to get a lot of people vaccinated and help in preventing the virus.

There is no need to be afraid, the virus is not going to spread everywhere and moreover there have been people who went through it and still came out alive and healthy, so it’s not a death sentence. But everyone should be doing their possible best to stay safe.

Unfortunately, due to poor governance, we may even have to wait for a vaccine just to get out of this stupid mess. Some countries especially those who took quick action like NZ have already rid themselves of the virus. Meaning we don't really meed a vaccine but a strict and sound contingency plan that will help eradicate the virus. But no, my country's more on stupid stuff so yeah.

You wont able to say so because there are countries that are in ahead with technology and funding but do still lack with proper discipline into its citizens and knowing that they are
in bigger population and too big as a country then its really hard to control or isolate such virus unlike on smaller countries where if proper discipline plus good government handling in regards to
protocol then theres no doubt that it would be controlled somehow but doesnt mean that they would be totally covid-free country. We do need that vaccine but it would surely takes
time yet there would be lots of test samples that will really be needed before it would be produced officially.Taking the early doses will not really be that too appealing for my part
yet side effects havent been known.

I believe to really contain the continuous spread of the virus is to have vaccine. Because even if there are some countries that have very low number of cases owed to the discipline of its people, still to go back to at least normal life, is to have the vaccine. You will not be comfortable going out if you know that you will be vulnerable to infection anytime.

This virus will stay for long time in human history, and in time, scientists will come up to more potent vaccine that will eventually end this covid era. Just like other viruses that hit humanity.
Yes, with the vaccine only everyone can get back to the normal life. In comparison to the starting now the spread of virus is very low. It takes more and more time to have a perfect vaccine developed. For every vaccine to come out needs different phases of testing. Finding a vaccine is easy, but the after effects need to be analysed in depth. This is why it takes atleast an year to prepare a vaccine.
