conjuring, mummy returns most horror movies. 
The first movie of IT, the original one, that movie would scare the kid out of you.
I've recently watched new It, and it's freaking great Not very scary, but has awesome actors, music, style, and plot development.
there's a lot of really good horror movies out there and everybody has their own personal opinion as to which one is the best but to be honest any movie that creeps you out sufficiently can be a horror movie. personally I find The Grudge to be the most creepy concept of a horror movie possible, but a lot of people find a lot of different things scary and some people just laugh in the face of horror movies like the ones that I find very scary.
I would recommend the Ring The Grudge the forest The Blair Witch Project and pretty much any other horror movie that starts with 'the'

My suggestion Mirrors, The Woman in Black, Anabelle, The Conjuring, The Ring and Split.
My favorite horror movie is still Silent Hill 
The Annabelle movies are very scary and good at the same time. Also, the conjuring is good.
Split and Get Out were my favorite horror movies for the past couple years. Annabelle Creation was really good also but you probably have seen that since you said you liked Annabelle.

Try watching alone, any horror movies will scare the crap out of you. anyways here's my suggestions; Conjuring 1&2, Insidious, The exorcist, The cabin in the woods, It follows, Sinister and lastly Poltergeist. Enjoy!
There are actually lots of horror movies that's on my top list but for now, i want you to try IT horror movie. They got a good concept of movie where clowns are so creepy to look at.
