As long as you trade on hotbit and don't keep assets there for long it's much better, what I do on Hotbit exchange is very short, deposits>trades>withdraws that is what I do on this exchange never too long assets are left here I certainly had concerns about that so I made a direct withdrawal.
Maybe some are having problems some are not, but what I know Hotbit support is still able to respond if there are still complaints it will still happen if it happens to hack I don't know about the responsibility for that.
And Make sure you know the real Hotbit exchange.

Still using it until now, especially after IDENA validation usually i sell my coins in Hotbit. But maybe what i concern is when i doin withdrawal, it took a little longer than usual. I mean to be accepter / if me not wrong when i withdraw it will be veryfing first before success take hours, but my withdraw still landing from Hotbit.

Once you finished trading with your intended token or coin, withdraw your funds and send it to you own wallet, which is more secure. I had used hotbit before and didn't encounter any problem but of course I got out my funds after trading, which was a good thing. Because right now, I can't open my account again as the phone with google authenticator that I was using was already damaged. You'll never know what will happen, so better secure your funds outside the exchanges.

Hotbit is a good exchange to trade and your fund is safe in this exchange, Many of investors trade in this exchange, Hotbit exchange is the popular exchange.
From my experience hotbit is a very good platform to trade your cryptocurrency but that doesn't mean that there are no scam tokens on the platform. It's always a good idea never to leave substantial amount of cryptocurrency on any exchange platform due to the fact that the exchange could be compromised.
It's certainly there because the exchange also accepts what they want before placing any tokens or coins on their list, because service providers for an exchange like Hotbit are very feasible to use and I myself have never encountered a problem with this exchange. 
Hotbit exchange is either good or bad based on the user's experience.

I occasionally trade on the HotBit exchange. I haven't had any bad experiences with this exchange so far. Everything is smooth and perfect. You can definitely trade here. This is not a scam exchange. However, if any token listed here is turn into scam then what is the fault of exchange?
The exchange party is not wrong because they only provide land to exchange and also to do what is needed, but if the exchange tends to be slow and lacks the features that their users need, then very few people will stick with them. 
I have a good experience with Hotbit, I have been trading there for a long time on some tokens only with a small capital, the main feature that makes a lot of users use that exchange (I don't know if this is an advantage) is the listing many tokens obtained from the airdrop so They register on this exchange and sell the tokens that they earned from airdrop or bounty, for trust it can be said that Hotbit is reliable and has some good features as well as the transfer fees are rather low but you cannot trust the tokens that are listed there because most of them are scam or chitcoin, I left the exchange recently Due to the slow opening of the page and this caused me a lot of inconvenience, so I decided to withdraw my balance from there.

personally, I also have no problem using hotbit. in fact, I just made a transaction yesterday. even though the transaction I did took a long time to be sent to the wallet I have. however, as far as I'm using hotbit, I haven't had any problems so far.However, if you want to make transactions that are guaranteed to be safe, you should only use Binance or Kucoin. it is a trusted market until now.

maybe some people have different experiences about this exchange, and the problem of large transaction fees may also need to be rethought, plus this exchange has experienced hacking, I don't think it's wrong for you to save your funds in this exchange but with funds that are not too large or just buy tokens or shitcoins for example buffdoge coin announcing that they are already listed there, there are several reasons that may be different but it all comes back to you

The reviews I have been seeing online on Trustpilot says a lot about them. They have a very bad rating of 1.7 on Trustpilot and every single review I kept coming across on the website was saying that the Hotbit exchange is a scam. When an exchange has such a bad rating, especially on a review platform like Trustpilot, it’s always best to avoid them entirely so that you don’t end up experiencing the same thing that those people have experienced. In my experienced using hotbit is so far so good. Though, 3 or 4 months ago if I am not mistaken, for what I don't like to hotbit by that time is they mostly took maintenance from time to time and the longest was 2 weeks or 3 weeks between the two something like that. But at this time
hotbit is good to used now and everything was smooth and better.

I don't have any problems with Hotbit either. But if many doubt this market seems natural because this market has been hacked. But interestingly, there are still many cheap coins in this market and become an attraction for investors to start looking for coins with good projects for the long term or big profits in a fairly short time.

Hotbit is one of the good exchanges, I've sold tokens there a few times and never had any issues, everything went smoothly.
Problems are indeed rare, but the number of withdrawals and withdrawal fees on certain coins is still very expensive when compared to others, so using Hotbit for daily use doesn't look very suitable except for just exchanging new tokens, it's definitely not a problem.

I believe that we cannot tell any exchange whether we are trustworthy. I have seen many experiences where any exchange can be hacked at any time. I have been trading on Hotbit exchange for almost three years now. It is also easy to use. But compared to binance, kucion, ftx Exchange can not be considered hotbit. These all exchanges have many features that are more beneficial than other exchanges. Hotbit Exchange needs a lot of upgrades to get in its place.I don't mind being used.That is the reality. There is truth.That doesn't mean the hotbit isn't good.
