Hotbit exchange, is it safe and good to trade here?

Hotbit is not that safe exchange anymore comparing to 2016 when I was new in crypto and this is one of the popular exchange.

I also do not consider Hotbit a safe exchange. Yes, you can deposit money, buy any low cap coin which is not listed on big exchanges and move the coin/funds out of the exchange. Do not keep your coins and money in hotbit exchange for the long term. The exchange is not a scam at the moment but I stopped trusting the small exchanges after the hack/scam from cryptopia exchange where I lost too much money. Sad

We need to remain safe and never trust too much on exchanges.

i have used hotbit before and trading was smooth, deposits and withdrawls, same thing, but i once wanted to sell a token that started dumping and i had on the hotbit exchange, and i couldn't sell because the website was under maintenance so i had to wait several hours watching the token i had slowing going down and down and even when they said the maintenance will be done at a specific time, they weren't able to catch up with it they were and hour and a half late to fix it, even though it's not that bad overall but i recommend you find a replacement for it.

So from my little investigation they mostly involved in pumping/dumping of token, you have to be very careful when operating with such tier exchange.

That's why I never buy new tokens listed on Hotbit except only use the exchange to sell the tokens I got from the bounty campaign because sometimes the tokens from the campaign are only listed on Hotbit and not anywhere else. And if for example it is on another exchange, then I will not immediately use Hotbit if the volume is the same.

All users has their experience on every single exchange most especially Hotbit. You need to read their terms and conditions, withdrawal fees etc. I had little challenge with them back then with 2FA and which was very hard for me to handle though I moved my usdt and traded with a newly listed token over there, after buy token with higher price not up to 48 hrs the token I bought very high turns to zero (0) and I lost my funds.
So from my little investigation they mostly involved in pumping/dumping of token, you have to be very careful when operating with such tier exchange.

For beginners in the crypto space, it's really not recommended to use Hotbit because there are many better exchange options than Hotbit at the moment so hacking and other vague things can also be an absolute consideration for anyone at this time.

since I used the hotbit exchange, I'm still safe, even from the past, since 2018 until now, a lot of my assets are stored on the exchange from I read this discussion, I reopened my hotbit account, and I see as usual, it's still safe assets in the form of BNB, hotbit has strong security, it also depends on us, in saving our accounts, not sharing accounts with others, for deposit and WD is very easy, hopefully it is always safe with hotbit exchange, don't hesitate and worry

I think Hotbit is a trustworthy crypto exchange. I occasionally sell tokens here. I haven't had any problems so far. You can trust this crypto exchange. You can deposit and trade here without any fear and hesitation.

I don't think it's the exchange that makes us lose money, although there are some exchanges like that, but in general, what causes us to lose money, is because of the bad coins we have, so there is no movement or even lost in the market, this is what is called fraud, so it's better to identify a good project that can generate maximum profit, the problem of exchange is almost the same.

Sometimes our personal decision towards how we do our trades what makes us lose our money, but their are certain factors that the exchange reputation play a role here since if the exchange is not reputable and do scamming then this is totally a bad decision to us if we keep depositing our money and continuously trades at them. But in the case of hotbit I didn't encounter any issue at them but I'm not regular trader on that exchange but traders should take extra precaution at them since I also heard about issue on that platform.

the reputation can also be affected by negative issues, usually these are created still in destroying any exchange, although sometimes the issue is not run simultaneously by many people, regarding hotbit I totally agree with what you say, because personally I have also done exchanges on this exchange, but can't find what people say about their negative side, maybe in future development they have experienced the negative issue, but I no longer use the exchange for a few months, so don't know anymore how it is.

I doubt that was a fake but rather the volume of that coin is just low. It's usual to happen in some low-volume coins but it doesn't mean it's because of the exchange alone. As far as general personal reviews are concerned, there are good and bad experiences using the platform. It now depends on the new user how they will apply the word "safe" here in this exchange.

Since Hotbit doesn't require or mandate KYC, it's one of the reasons why other users preferred using these exchanges instead of those big and popular ones.

Sometimes while making a buy or sell order in this exchange we are forced to make it as a multiply of a round figure such as 100, 1000, 100000 etc. As a result, some tokens may remain unsold.

Actually a hard situation on which you do need to make on point decision whether you do sell those tokens or not and there are several factors which you do have
pending orders.

1. Volume
2. Typo error on those digits
3. Liquidity

You wouldnt be having any choice but to stick out or sell out on current market price which would be the most
common action you would make. About hotbit reputation then this is where things we should make out some research first
before making such action.
