I think altcoins should be placed in short and medium-term portfolios. in bearish market actually be best moment to accumulate our favourite coins, but it not at early trend and should do at after bearish trend run for long term. in this condition selling pressure will decrease and also accumulation will be done by most traders or investors. investing on altcoin must analize bitcoin price too , when btc drop altcoin price could drop more. this is looks complicated for altcoin.

altcoins are not wrong, but it is the behavior of policy makers for new altcoin projects that makes it very difficult to develop, because projects that carry altcoins always only last a matter of time until they provide distribution and do not intend to be able to continue to develop so that they can be bigger.

they are better off making a new project again with the assumption that it is more profitable because they don't have to work too tired. Remember that doing development requires a lot of energy and money compared to creating a new project, it's definitely easier to create a new project, so don't be surprised that altcoins rarely last long.

but not everything happens like that and there is still a lot that can develop well because the development team is always updating to make it a very attractive investment.

its right we could not predict the fact in future , but atleast from our analisys we could take summary about possibility that may happen based on data that provided in market. this data was usefull and alot investors or traders use it as basic statistic to understand market history that usually will repeat ed in certain periode. investing in altcoin or bitcoin actually has same risk if we dont entry on proper moment or time, moreover altcoin price was influenced by bitcoin , so more difficult for us to take decision. So based on this data we could analize , in the past which price level was good to entry or exit.

It was all fun and games until someone losses their money and worst losses their lives because they not only lose small amount but they bet their entire wealth on a coin which they think can change their lives from poor to rich in a quick period of time. Not only altcoin but even bitcoin can also be called as roller coaster because all of them are volatile.

Bitcoin is only better because it can always recover while many altcoins won't anymore once they are done pumping. Indeed that when we invest we must only invest small amounts or only amounts that we can afford to lose especially if you will pick those altcoins which are much riskier so that it will be easier for us to move on once we fail.

Usually those who prefer to invest in altcoins are short term goers as altcoins have more pump potential than in bitcoin which could take some time to see its real growth but of course investing in altcoins has more risks. There are those who invest on both alts and btc. This one is better than investing in alts alone because you can reduce your risk this way.

You won't be bored with this because while waiting for your btc to pump, you can get some profits in your altcoins and by the time altcoin declines, btc will be the one that will rise and you can be able to take profits again. There are also times where both of them can rise together.

I agree with what you said. The big opportunity is in Alt, but it will be when Bitcoin is optimistically heading for a bull run. I expect market conditions to continue to deteriorate, because the opportunities are great when the market is down. So take advantage of the current market conditions, not to practice panic.

I think investing in altcoins can provide more profit than investing in bitcoin,
and the price of bitcoin is also considered to be the benchmark for altcoins,
even when bitcoin goes up only 5%, altcoins can go up to 100%, this is why I recommend just investing in altcoins .

The problem in alt coins are they are not completely anonymous like bitcoin.
In every new coin first thing people ask is team behind it ? if team get down coin get down which makes them more centralised.
How will you create another bitcoin which always keep bitcoin superior amount every other coin.

Altcoin is an Alternative coin for everyone who likes it with very affordable capital because there are many people who can't afford BTC so they have to do their work through Altcoins in cryptocurrencies.

If we look back to the time this thread is created (almost 2 years) and you already invested in altcoins (the popular ones specifically) then probably you already earn huge since the prices of most coins currently are quite expensive already.

Investing in alts are more risky compared to Bitcoin but the chances to earn from it is high as well, and it depends on the coins you're going to hold. Although it takes months or years before you can see the result but atleast you made the right choice to diversify your investment and its only possible if you did an extensive research to know which alts are worthy to buy.
