Investing in altcoins is good but the problem is it is hard to identify what altcoins are good for short term or long term, i believe that no one can predict the future but most of the investors prefer on investing into altcoins that is high ranked on some coin tracking platform. Just do your own research and be careful on buying we are still in bear season and every transaction is very risky.
I think altcoins should be placed in short and medium-term portfolios. You see that, aside from the major altcoins like eth and bnb, the rest of the altcoins get replaced over time and a lot of the top coins are replaced by newer altcoins after each bear season. So altcoin investments during bear season are dangerous because they can be superseded and their resilience is very low.
altcoins are not wrong, but it is the behavior of policy makers for new altcoin projects that makes it very difficult to develop, because projects that carry altcoins always only last a matter of time until they provide distribution and do not intend to be able to continue to develop so that they can be bigger.
they are better off making a new project again with the assumption that it is more profitable because they don't have to work too tired. Remember that doing development requires a lot of energy and money compared to creating a new project, it's definitely easier to create a new project, so don't be surprised that altcoins rarely last long.
