The shift of volume from altcoins to the bitcoin is the major reason which is keeping others at the bay too when it comes to altcoins investment. It is like a ripple effect, once a few started leaving altcoins, others followed too. Now, for altcoins to regain volume, bitcoin need to make an upward major movement. In such a case, people take their profits and invest in altcoins.

Therefore, altcoin price is in a way related to bitcoin's upward movement. For that people are trusting bitcoin more.

Diversifying the portfolio is a good thing but the entry point for a trade is crucial. Right now there is no alt which is not affected by the fluctuation of Bitcoin, whenever we see a pump or dump there will be a difference in the prices of alts. So be careful before entering one of the altcoins.

Investors are assuming altcoin is not having a good future right now, i lately never show altcoin with a decent grow, even it's growing it's just for a while before it down again. why you are taking the bitcoin as the main as the standard while all of investors know about that. cardano is not even getting so many hype from the market again. I agree with almost everything you wrote, but I need to correct something. ETH, BNB, LTC and EOS have indeed falled much more than Bitcoin during the long bear market and in my opinion have even greater potential. Unfortunately, I do not even consider XRP as a cryptocurrency, and because it is a centralized coin, I consider it the worst investment that can be made on the cryptocurrency market. XRP has unlimited supply and can be created 10x more at any time, which would mean practically total loss of investment for the investor.

Choosing the top 10 to 20 coins to invest for diversification will be your best choice including Bitcoin. It is better to invest this time since the price of Bitcoin is a little cheaper. But don't choose those stable coins since you can't make any profit from it. Unlike Bitcoin with a lot of movements that's why it do fluctuate too much.

And if you find a project you're confident in somewhere around the top 20, there's a lot of room for the market cap to grow. It could very well end up making you more money in the long run if it ends up being in the top 10. I wouldn't take this risk with lesser known coins, but something in the top 20 or so would be safe if you're looking to gamble on something that may return more than just holding Bitcoin itself.

Because there are some very good potential altcoins, which can generate profits in the future. Altcoins that I highly recommend

Bitcoin is a better investment for every investors, but no one hold the total investment in single platform so are all are must analyse the some other altcoins and invest some stable coin also in trading. The current market is slowly fluctuates so all are waiting for the next bull run in crypto market. I hope top 20 altcoins are huge marketcap and large investors are targeting so I am suggesting the high volume project.

I do think that the good alts will recover very strongly, ETH and XRP among them.
The question however is when this will happen. At the moment the confidence in the market is low, and I think any price rises are likely to be led by bitcoin, and will increase bitcoin dominance.
So whilst good alts look cheap now, they may get cheaper, both in dollar and BTC terms.
