If a newbie wants to be active and grow in merit and rank, he should be reading more instead of thinking about posting. He should be reading what good posters are posting and the way they are posting it.

You can decide not to post in a day and you may decide to post. But you will need to make your post have good quality. Before that can happen you have a lot to learn first.

Perhaps they shouldn't just read post but rather they should read and make sure they understand cause there's
a very big difference between reading and understanding what you are reading there are people who read to just feel among that is let it be that yes they are reading and this kind of people may not grow but there are people who read extensively  and intensive these people will definitely grow to a greater height and is not about being active but doing what I said above cause one can be active and be doing nothing at same time you can also be active and be doing something relevant, active alone doesn't guarantee growth.

just do what you like, as long as it doesn't violate the forum rules.

Are there any common mistakes that newbies always do and that break the forum rules?

I don't think there are numbers to describe someone's activity on the forum, for quality posts I think it's also subjective to the reader. I can even give merit to 3 word posts that I like. In fact, I have registered since 2018 and only have hundreds of posts, compared to others in just a few years there have been thousands. So just enjoy the process, don't worry about rank or anything, just do what you like, as long as it doesn't violate the forum rules.

I greet you all
You know when you come to a forum like this you need to first know the do's and the don'ts, the rules and regulations, and most especially how to grow, in life we all want growth to some certain extent the same thing applies to this forum, I ask most of my friends here how can a newbie grow on this forum, they all keep saying, if you want to grow you need to be active on the forum,

My question is what does it mean to be active on the forum,
How many quality Posts can someone make daily before he or she can be considered active on this forum, sorry I ask a lot of questions so u can learn too.

A proverb says that he who ask questions never misses his road, firstly you are welcome to the forum mate, the forum is more like a plateform where like minds share knowledge, ideas in terms of Bitcoin and life generally, now answering your question about being active on the forum is beyond considering the quota of posts to be made daily but I would say that it has more to do with maximizing every opportunities to learn, adding more values to what you know by making positive difference in terms of when you started and now, being able to create or solve problem that people will learn from, contributing meaningful, constructively and informatively and above all, this can not be achieved if you are not frequently login in into the forum, this is my few points of definition of being active in the forum you can as well look at other users advice too , once again you are welcome to BITCOINTALK FORUM.

post helpful topic , have a meaningful discussion about other post, and unlike posting 10 more times a day, with just proof of campaigns, or spamming, and you are good to go, most newbie are just looking for how to earn, once they are registered, ignoring reading topics that will help them grow along the way.

The level of someone's activity is determined by factors such as the policies of the forum and the preferences of its users. However, in general, a beginner is considered active if they can consistently produce multiple high-quality posts each day.
The definition of "high-quality" posts may vary, but the key is to provide valuable and relevant contributions to the community.
As a beginner, it is advisable to start by creating a few posts daily that contain informative questions or helpful responses. This will enable you to actively participate in discussions and learn from other users. Remember, quality takes precedence over quantity. It is better to create a few posts of high value rather than numerous posts that lack substance. Therefore, focus on generating contributions that are useful and pertinent.

You can be always online on the forum but that doesn’t mean you should post always, just always spend time on the forum reading. What it means to be active is just for you to make quality posts whenever you have any contribution to make. Some people might think making so many posts daily on the forum is the definition of being active, but making so many rubbish posts daily doesn’t make you active, because your posts are of no use.

You might be making just few posts daily, but make sure the post is really worth it. I won’t tell you the amount of posts you should make in a day to make you active, we are different from each other, and sometimes you might not have much contribution to make to the posts that are available, so the amount of posts you should make depends on you, but make sure those posts are really worth it.

Firstly, being active here means you are a regular user of the forum who's efforts and contributions has been seen and some one who interacts and communicate effectively with other members of the forum. As many good and quality post as possible as long as you don't go about going against the forum rules in terms of copying other people's work without referencing them and as long as you don't post two line words as post. You can concentrate on your Local Board where things are discussed in the language you understand better for more effective communication until you learn more on how to post in the forum otherwise I will suggest you read and keep learning if you find it difficult still.

The rules of the forum is not set in such a way that you’re limited to the number of posts you can make a day, don’t just spam and want to reply all threads especially those you don’t have idea about and think that you’re been active in the forum. Active in the forum as a newbie has to do with been more active reading and understanding posts, and applying them to your daily crypto life. A lot can be learned here because it is a school of knowledge and experience. You don’t need to post everyday if you’ve nothing important to share or contribute to, but with the activities here, you’ll definitely have something to share or join a tangible conversation in the forum without spamming. That your activeness to contribute posts will now determine your growth in the forum.

A newbie growing in this forum with the knowledge of crypto and ranks depends on their efforts to know more about crypto and how active they are to do more of reading people's posts, posting meaningfully, sharing ideas, asking questions, and giving answers to people's inquiries about the forum, and crypto at large.

In terms of the number of posts to make as a newbie, there are no limits to posts to make per day, you can make as many posts as you like, but don't make it look like you are spamming the forum with meaningless posts that don't have any positive impact on what someone would learn something from.

Personally I think when a newbie wants to grow in the forum, you should engage more in reading and making constant research so you can learn much more, because for you to be able to engage more in conversations in the forum you need to be able to actually know what been discussed so you can contribute positively to the forum.

As a newbie I will advised you don’t even think about getting merit first because that will restrict you from trying to learn and even explore the forum more. When you explore more you tend to find the forum more informative and that will actually make you to engage the forum more often, So with that i can’t really say how a newbie should engage the forum but it depends on how interesting you find the forum. Because at the end whatever you loves takes your time.

You don’t have to be sorry when asking a question especially as a newbie and also pertaining the forum because we are all here to learn and grow and I’ve always believed that learning never ends and no matter the quality of education you already have, the forum will always have something new to teach you and as such, you shouldn’t be shy or sorry to seek to know a thing you don’t know.

Away from that, I think when you’re asked to stay active simply means, just go through the forum and know what is going on there and in other words they can still say, you should do more of reading than writing and the ability for you to read more also contributes to your ability to make meaningful contributions to the forum without writing low quality post but rather more meaning contributions to a discussed subject.

A lot of newbies don’t really understand that with the introduction of the activity log, what the forum expects of you is to make atleast one quality post a day and 14 in two weeks to move you to the next activity count.
So as a newbie just starting, especially without a campaign, you shouldn’t be in so much haste to write but should  rather do more of reading.

I think this question has been ask several times and answers has been given to it anyway this is beginners and help board. However, being active on the forum won't determine your growth here because you can be active and yet doing other things that are not relevant or things that won't help you grow so being active doesn't guarantee your growth unless whenever you are active you always read threads thoroughly and carefully only then can you grow and for the number post a newbie will make, in addition to what they have said so far there is no limit to a post newbie is suppose to make, they can make as many as possible.

That's why they can't get slow result since some of the newbies don't like to do a research and read a lot of information which is needed to do. They want to shortcut all of things since for them that is the more faster way to get a small knowledge about what they are trying to learn.

But if they are trying their best to do a research and always use the search bar of this forum for sure there would be a lot of topic suggestion will came out and there they can learn a lot of things that is helpful for them to learn. Also they should not focus to rank up while they are newbie but rather they should enjoy all the information they could read since the day will come that they would provably harvest all the efforts they made and also earnings will come after all of those hard work made.

You should pay attention to the forum. The main point is what is your purpose from this forum, if you want to get idea about crypto currency this is the best platform. How much time you want to spend depends on your will power. If you want to learn very fast then you have to spend time here, read a lot, know a lot, learn a lot. You don't have to be active all the time in the beginning, you can read and learn about different information from one-two hour every day periodically in the beginning, then take some time break and keep studying the same way, you will master it quickly.

Actually it doesn't matter how active you're, what matters is how serous you're most newbies is always active in the forum doing nothing at the end of the day they won't achieve anything, sometimes it happens as a result of forcing ourselves to learn about something, meanwhile your attention is else where. at this point you will find it very difficult to understand, that is why it doesn't matter how active you're daily you can chose to be active in your convenience time, that's when you're less busy because I'm pretty sure that most newbies here work in different companies they can not be active during work period.

Spend as much time as you can on this forum instead of wasting your time on online useless. Do your own research on crypto, always research cryptocurrency and read all these forum rules carefully. The more you read the more knowledge you gain and you can increase your rank by earning merit through good posts.

Yes as long you can stay in the forum there is no measure to which any newbies stay ni time limit the choice is usually on what you to achieve, there is say that what deprived you others activities should be equivalent or greater than to deprived activities, if quality time is spend in search and reading pin post and rules you increase in knowledge that you can do better if best in the forum, the forum is what you give that is the results you see the mire you work the best the results because the level of knowledge you gather usher better opportunity to climb higher as all what you tender will be a problem solving information and solution.

The newbies are supposed to be more active than any other member of this forum or community, why because he is new,ad needs to be known by members of this community.I know some persons don't even want take time to review the pages of the forum in other to know the new names that are on board, but to me,every time I try to see thee people that are new here and have the most impact in the forum already, because I know it is those people that will make things happen  in the forum in less than no time so they need to know them.
And for the newbies, make sure you keep yourself active by making reasonable posts.

While being active can help you gain merit and rank up to participate in campaigns, it's true that the forum doesn't have as many campaigns as it once did. So, the focus might be better spent elsewhere.

Instead, I highly recommend diving into the wealth of information on this forum. In the early days, some of the brightest minds in crypto shared their valuable insights here, helping the space flourish. Even though these developers may not be as active anymore, their posts remain incredibly relevant and insightful on many topics.

This shift in focus emphasizes the forum's role as a knowledge base rather than a campaign hub
