https://poloniex.com/ is the best, greatest liquidity and volume
https://bittrex.com/ is also pretty good, at least for some of the "under the radar" coins not yet listed on Poloniex

pls can anybody enlighten me on how to earn or buy altcion,because I do hear about it in the forum and in the lending section they accept it as collateral
You can do that to any exchange or from the dev of the coin that you want to buy,I think you already know how to earn altcoin,you're already in a signature campaign..
You can also earn altcoin by doing faucets ot bounty campaign like facebook and twitter

Here I will suggest you go to Yobit.net for buy/sell altcoins . Here I suggested yobit only because your begginer and need to understand about trading in simple way . Because I found other famouse exchange very complicated to understand but yobit.net is best for newcomers and simple to understand .Here I will give some tips to how to buy/sell .
You will find option to deposit bitcoin in the header option of wallets and there you can deposit any coin and altcoins .
Now if you want buy/sell then never make buy/sell a the the current price , always put your order to sell or buy , in this way you can make buy in small rate and can sell at high rate .
