Same as always, I will find some new project that is worth investing my money in and I'm not talking big investment here, just a few percentages from my salary that would do it because investing in a new project, means you gonna gamble with your money but with high percentage because of your past knowledge of how the crypto industry works. There are lots of possibilities and most of the time it is a positive outcome given that you know what you are doing. Maybe it's time for us to look for opportunities next year by looking for possible projects to launch and we really need to be careful while doing it, let's review ourselves not to be carried away when we see some hype before its launch.

Truth be told I wish many newbies and those who haven’t had experience take it easy next year, this year should serve as a reality check to many of them, a recent example is the FTX drama.

Also the fact that this year 2022 was a bearish year should not make you think 2023 is the bull run year, it’s still a probability. I think the best plan for 2023 for me is learning from my mistakes of 2022 and not repeating them.

So, how are you preparing for 2023, what or which altcoin are you buying in preparation for 2023?
I still stick with what gave me good money way back, Eth and Ada and BNB. I didn't invest on shitcoin or meme coins, because that time I say that it's better to have this coin in your portfolio specially when the price is still very cheap. my regret is that I didn't invest more money so that I will get a huge profit, but that's for another discussion.

So that is the coins that I have been buying this year and will continue to do so in 2023, specially if we will have another leg down as the price will be at a discount.

So, how are you preparing for 2023, what or which altcoin are you buying in preparation for 2023?
I already have Dogecoin, Shiba Inu and several other altcoins but this is not preparation for 2023 because I think 2023 will not be much different from this year there may be improvements but not significant, when the Bitcoin halving is in 2024 then the 4 year cycle will start where will affect altcoin prices because Bitcoin will again reach the latest ATH, so 2023 is a year still a good enough to collect altcoins that we learn first have the potential to provide profits during the bullrun later.

The way I’ve always prepared, I will just DCA & wait for better times to sell. I do not day trade, it’s for morons. We’re still in a bearish period & it could still last all the way through 2023 so the best thing to do is just ignore the price & stick to a plan.

Continue to buy at regular intervals & you’ll be greatly rewarded, it’s really that simple. You need dedication, conviction & patience but there are proven ways to be successful in crypto.

I already bought some ETH and mix altcoins in the past few days, that was enough for now.
I think I have nothing to do more in the coming days other than just hold and wait for another huge drop if there is and make a decision to buy more. It was not really clear to us what will happen the next year 2023, it is a mixed opinion as I've read online coming from self-proclaimed experts. I actually don't want to believe that next year there is a huge breakthrough but, of course, I was also optimistic about the price surge and hoping for a slow recovery, at least.

It always depends from how you foresaw the potential market outcome, I see your point and I can say that you got that valid reason in terms of keeping your coins on hold after buying, and add more if chance permits you in case the value will fall for more. It will be your own take when deciding. We all know that crypto have that capabilities to bounce back, and through experience, we all see most of the time when the market starts to bounce back. It really gives a huge amount of benefits.

Your money means your responsibilities. Preparing is more about mental stability. It's tough to see your investment falling, but if you understand the concept, adding more is your best option if you have spare money to use.

I don't know what to prepare because I got nothing now.
All are just savings that cannot be moved because it's for emergency purposes. But for the investing part, there is nothing left because it was used during this economic problem. I am still trying to save for that.

Mentally though, we must also be prepared. There's a chance this 2023 won't go as we expected and another fall may come. I am not being pessimistic but just trying to be flexible about other possibilities. We can't sell now, as all are down by a big percentage. The opportunity to take a profit seems to be far away.

Renec could be a good project because it's launch was genuinely done and another thing to consider is that the project came during the bear market. Which means we are expecting a very large movement in the coming bull run.

I am yet to make decisions on some altcoins to get after accumulating bitcoin.
Renec blockchain is that project not owned by Remitano p2p Exchange?
I have received email of an airdrop of Renec token in my wallet each time I do a transaction using that exchange because Remitano is one of the popular p2p exchanges here and if their develop a token am sure it going to be something huge to look out for most especially if the team develop the project to the point of it being used as a utility token on the exchange. I don't know what the price of a Renec token is, because with all the bloodbath in 2022 resulting in to crash of many altcoins price, so I don't consider any new project to be successful for long but if the token is used as a utility token on the exchange it will definitely have an ecosystem that will easily pump its price when the token is fully utilized and adopted for fees.

We all know that 2022 has not been friendly to the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin, being the top ranked lost over 60 percent from its all time high value.
Many altcoins have also lost more than half the value they had in 2021, the several occurrences in the cryptocurrency industry caused several bloodbath we experienced in most parts of the year 2022.

But I am optimistic concerning 2023, I foresee a major breakout for Bitcoin and several other top altcoins, and some new altcoins that are really promising..
If we will look at the cycle, I guess many already anticipated that 2022 will be the same as 2018.

2022 had been an awful year for investors because many lost their money the whole year but on the other hand, there are some investors who took the opportunity and bought some coins especially Bitcoin. This might be a bad year for some but for me, it's a good one still even though my portfolio's total value went down a lot. I took the opportunity as well and bought some cheap Bitcoins and also invested into Stocks for long run.

OP is optimistic and it's good to see optimistic investors after what happened this year. As for me, it will not be the same as 2022 but I expect a sideways movement for the whole market including the crypto market. 2023 will be the recovery year until we enter the bull market. My preparations for next year? None but I'll continue to accumulate Bitcoins and other cheap altcoins until the bull market comes.

For now Ive been staking all my altcoins to gain some reward while holding. Locking some pretty solid gains with tokens instead of setting a price that wouldnt hit its target. I know that it might be a good way to do a dca through this mean cause we dont know how long the year would turn out. It might also good to cut off but having a pretty huge downfall isnt acceptable isnt it?

So, how are you preparing for 2023, what or which altcoin are you buying in preparation for 2023?
Altcoins have been the tools used by scammers to steal money in 2022, so I'm being careful with them. I'm focused in bitcoin more than ever for that reason and I pretend to keep my portfolio conservative for the next year, mainly investing in btc and small portions for ethereum and FUN token, since I'm part of the premium program at freebitco.in.

The recipe continues the same, despite a new year is coming. We don't have to embrace hypes in crypto universe to make our investments profitable. The old and good bitcoin is enough if you have a solid plan to last and work along the years.

Preparations for 2023 are certainly a start that needs to be evaluated, especially in terms of altcoin investment. Many things that have happened in 2022 are very worrying so people will learn more not to make hasty decisions. Optimism needs to be instilled early on because no one knows what market conditions will be in the coming year. It could be for those who are still not confident in investing to be a good start. This also applies to me personally who currently has a new list to continue to accumulate portfolio value in Bitcoin. Even though it's only a few, it's still the main choice either last year or next year.

So, how are you preparing for 2023, what or which altcoin are you buying in preparation for 2023?
Ethereum and Bitcoin are on my watchlist. After what I experienced in the previous years, bear market and bull market. I will not trust some altcoins that are no use cases or are driven by hype only. Maybe you can try them but small stake only.
For me right now, I'm just preparing my capital be ready, like anytime you can buy on very cheap like on the dip just incase we will experience a huge dump in just a short period of time.

The bear market in that we are in right now definitely took a heavy toll on my portfolio value. It was already like 95% down compared to it's ATH of early 2021 but then the events around FTX happened with it's bankruptcy and since then my holdings are almost worthless. Thank god i only invested money that i can easily afford to lose without having any impact on my life.
I still have a few stablecoins laying around doing nothing so i am monitoring the market for good and established altcoin projects to buy. So far i have bought a few Cosmos (Atom) and now i am looking into buying some NEAR maybe, but i am just not sure when to buy. Even though i think that the price per NEAR is very attractive now to enter, it could still go down way lower.

The phrase "not friendly to" - I would say the opposite, it has been way friendly to the opportunistic users who were looking for rock bottom prices and they had a good time accumulating. That is how you can restructure your thought process to keep the optimistic outlook, lack of which because the reason of gradual attrition from trading.

I see a lot of whales are accumulating their crypto at this point and they will sell when the next bull run starts and then wait for the next bear run to buy again - a cycle that might take more than a couple of years, but they possess that level of patience. Still this is what we all crypto traders should aim for.

New altcoins should always bring in the salt of caution. Projects may aspire to be huge and they might succeed, but this is difficult in this sector so be careful. A new year does not always mean a good year for any new project.

No doubt many have eyes on Renec, and seeing the proper launch, it has attracted more investors to invest it. The price of the project is also very feasible, so definitely more people will show interest in it and this will lead to price increase soon. This might be a great project for the future. More accumulating Bitcoins is the best idea according to me. I mean the risk involved in Bitcoins are less compared to other alt coins. I would definitely support more buying Bitcoins over any other altcoins.

I personally believe that I had enough preparations for the upcoming year. This year has been a challenging year for crypto users and investors but it was already an opportunity taken since I already took advantage of the dip. I already bought a few potential cokns and planning to hold them until the market gets back to normal. For sure the beginning of the year will still be a shaky quarter for crypto but at least, it's a good thing that we're well-prepared for the possibilities because the market is volatile and unpredictable.

in my opinion, the beginning of the year will still not show anything good in the market. If you want to see top-market Bitcoin and altcoins make a big pump with the new season, I think it will take at least the middle of next year.
it also depends on how the market responds to FUD which has been heard a lot lately. I hope there won't be another moment when the market crashes. this market may be stable until early next year. but not to gain pump momentum.

I don't see shilling to be a violation of forum rules but if he sees Renec to be a good investment while still 2023, it's up to him. Not many people will actually see which one is a good investment until the price touches the sky and they could only buy less.

2023 is still early for 2024 halving though. If we see altcoins going up, just be prepared because before mid-2023, they will also dive. It's kind of a cycle already that we know too well.
I think there's no rules about that but as long as those who shill are not too spammy and also the shilled project is not known to be a scam then I think they are going to be fine. It's so sad that many people only focus on the price to tell if the project is worthy to invest or not but they must be careful about it because there are also shit coins which can be pumped up easily.

If only these people take the time to do a little research then it could help them to pick up a better coin. I don't think a lot of people are preparing for 2023 but if there is a date they are preparing then that would be the 2024 halving. 2023 might be another year for accumulation.
