Hello! I'm from France, and my government tolerate Bitcoin, but I don't think they are going to legalize or integrate it in our system.. So we'll see, but i'm not very optimistic about that.
It is just the beginning of all the crypto currencies and none of the government will take this much of risk of declaring them as legal currency and that too this much early. It will take time for the government to observe the performance of all the crypto coins till they are convinced to this point that legalization of all the crypto coins will result in better economic condition of their country and it will help out the people living in their countries.

In our country, it is said and stated that it is legal to use bitcoin. But Bangko Sentral of the Philippines does not support any other coins because they do not have back ups for other commodities.
And I think banks was the one declared it's use so that they will be the one to be consulted about bitcoins. In short, they will be in charge of everything that will be involved with bitcoin.
Like what they have said, if someone wants to use bitcoins in their business, people should contact them first for the requirements.

Same thing happen in my country. Government has declared bitcoin can not be used as payment in offline shop or other merchants.
Government does not forbidden me to use bitcoin as investment but they always warn me that bitcoin is dangerous volatile investment.

Similar to my country Indonesia, Until now the Indonesian government has not been able to provide clear regulation. The 'existence' of bitcoin is not recognized (hanging). The Indonesian government takes firm action against any bitcoin adopters, whether banks, shops or individuals. And bitcoin is strictly prohibited, if used as a means of payment.
Yeeah well, Im from the country with the same status as you, neither legal or illegal in many sense but the news have said its commentaries and feedbacks from what is bitcoin or the cryptocurrency to them. At first they say all the positive things to it, having secure, fast and effortless transaction, Profits in trading and the buy and sell, but at the latter part of the report they said a lot of negatives and the root word was that, bitcoin is a "Scam". A lot was infuriated but time pass and no news and updates are on the roll now.
In the UK they goverment arnt saying much except taxes will need to be paid at some stage but they haven’t finalised how or when . They have given warnings about ICOs which is to be expected. Some ICOs awere acting completely inappropriately and illegal so thats no surprise. But not too much in the way of banning crypto here.
In my country still in supervision, the statement said that bitcoin is not legal to be used for transaction payment inside the country but its okay to used it for trading, and being warned to not keep bitcoin for investment, it will just the matter of time for the government to regulate bitcoin, I think most of the government in the world will make decision either ban or regulate bitcoin this year
It was first wary or cautious of bitcoin and I guess it was mainly because they lacked knowledge about it and first heard about how people got scammed because of bitcoin or other cryptos. They were first neutral when the government of my country did not make any drastic actions but when bitcoin and crypto became even more popular just last 2017, it is slowly starting to accept the presence of bitcoin and exchanges in the country. Since there are numerous users in my country, our government's going to have to adopt bitcoin in the future in order to cater to the citizens.

in my country government, you have not legalized this crypto currency as a means of buying and selling transactions, but until now there is no ban on holders of this crypto currency, maybe because my government can not regulate bitcoin growth or because there is no tax for bitcoin, then the government has not legalized bitcoin currency
in my country the government don`t discuss too much about bitcoin they have just told the population that if you trade btc be careful and bear their risks by yourself.
Actually Indian government has taken many U turns regarding bitcoin before.I think that they were confused a little bit. At last, banks have started to close accounts which they suspect to have link with bitcoin earrings.
If India has that bitcoin status as you described then good to hear because that is the most common standing in majority of nation around the world and my country belongs to the same category.. But some gives/build a policy about regulation on some portion of the transaction of exchanges,, most of the time they’re under the surveillance of the financial agency that runs behind the central banks and financial institutions for security of investors..
Well, my government didn't take any act against Bitcoin, I think they don't know what Bitcoin is
