We could never know the exact details on how big the crypto gambling industry is right now we have so many gambling sites and it would be hard to track all of it since some of them are not regulated.
But I am sure that there are so many people who lose too much on it and there are some who live their dream lives because of it.
The gambling industry is so successful and the living proof is the old gambling sites that are still running up to this day and still making a huge profit because of it.
I have heard there are others building a new casino online because of this pandemic people are into playing online games. Is there really an accurate number? Those old sites are still running because they have the trust already of the users in terms of its security and continued improvement on their site. So we don't know indeed how big is the crypto gambling industry users since mostly these days of a pandemic for sure it is increasing.
Due to the coronavirus anything that can be done online is growing in terms of their user base, many of those that gambled at physical casinos are now using online casinos whether because they are trying to protect themselves or their families or because physical casinos are still closed on their country, and when we add the huge amount of stress going on many people that were not gamblers are gambling in order to reduce that stress and deal a little bit better with their everyday lives.

That is because we are still facing the same problem now, but I believe that the situation will be changed in the next year or next 2 years, and I am sure their income will be bigger.

Btw, your links seems broken. It should be: https://www.juniperresearch.com/online-gambling-wagers-surpass-$1-trillion
Thanks for fixing 😂
didn't notice that, anyways we're all hoping that this pandemic will end sooner than expected.

That makes freebitco.in becoming one of the leaders in online crypto gambling, which still online until now. From that rankings, no wonder if freebitco.in can survive for a long time, and they still have a huge visitor who wants just to claim the faucet, playing gambling, or use their investment side.
I almost forgot freebitco.in is also a gambling site LoL.

Freebitco actually is one of the pioneers here in gambling. Rain or shine, this site keeps their operations for long time. I learned how to deal with crypto because of this site. With many years in operations, crypto gambling sites already acquired tons of money. But I think crypto casinos are still behind with fiat-based online casinos. So combining these two, fiat and crypto casinos, is really huge already. And now, fiat-based casinos are now integrating crypto as payment method.

This is one of the first sites I visited when my friend asked and invited me to play dice using Satoshis I can get from their faucet. It is a bit boring at that time looking at the 3-digit price of bitcoin until I started to grow that Sats. With the bigger price and great convinience it gives to gamblers, I guess it would be more bigger and I gope sites like Freebitco.in continues to function.

I think this old article could help to estimate how big.

Bitcoin Gamblers Have Wagered $4.5 Billion in BTC Since 2014

BTC3 wagered per minute, imagine that. I'm sure that trend increases.
4.5$ billion in 2014?so what more after 6 years when we already knew how much money  wagered in gambling each day.

and as  gambler i also know how much i am spending each time i gamble.

so yeah we are having large amount involved here.

I think you misunderstood this by looking at the picture.

Based on the picture, it is 12/2014 - 2017. I think that is less than to what you are thinking but still, that is massive. Lets not forget that we are in quarantine for months so people gambling online might doubled or tripled at that time.

yeah the wager image you provided is a legend website that still survives and has many users or players, imagine how rich the website developer is, at least a gambling website should be like this and can provide many choices or bonuses that can be claimed every hour and provide opportunities for the players to try.
That gambling site still runs until now, and that is normal if they can get that huge money because we know that many gamblers are still playing on that site. We can claim every hour of the free coins if we don't want to gamble, and they allow us to do that. But we can not expect to get big money from that because the reward will adjust to the bitcoin price.

Not only that, they are in the gambling industry for more than 5 years already, they are one of the pioneers here in crypto gambling industry. And look at their ranking and number of visits, you can tell why they are profitable. https://www.similarweb.com/website/freebitco.in/

When I discover cryptocurrency, freebitco.in was the first website I saw on the google search bar and claimed a lot of bitcoin there. Imagine that I save those BTC last 4 years, maybe I earned a lot of profit on their platform through freerolls. Now that they're very popular and many gamblers are using their site, probably, they're earning millions of money per month. That's how a gambling platform big right now and can't imagine that online gambling platforms will be in the mainstream for many people. The developers are lucky because they gained a lot on creating a crypto gambling platform and it's a brilliant thing to enter the crypto industry.
I remember those years. The years that I earn free satoshi from the freerolls. I remember the reward is about more than 10k satoshi per roll in an hour. That makes me have a chance to make at least 0.001 btc, and I have active referrals, which can give me additional satoshi. I believe they can earn millions of dollars per month because their site has a lot of visitors.

True, most of these gamblers purchase in over the counter method, so authorities wouldn't track them especially if that country is strict with digital assets and most country's including mine prohibits online gambling. So using anonymous cryptocurrency is the way to gamble. The data or statistics for volume of crypto gamblers might not be accurate.

Why use anonymous cryptocurrency if you can use any? It all depends on how you will purchase cryptocurrency, whether your bank will ban attempts to buy cryptocurrency from a credit card.
In any case, you can always use one of the many exchange services through which it is impossible to understand exactly where your money was sent.
Almost all cryptocurrency casinos lack a verification system, which helps you stay anonymous even more.

Even if the economies of the world are slowly opening their operations casinos are one of the last places to open and this is going to be good news for online gambling and for the cryptocurrency gambling industry as well, however at the same time I would like for bitcoin to have more use as a currency and not be used mainly for speculation as it is happening now, however if gambling can help spread and popularize bitcoin then this is a necessary step on the development of bitcoin we will need to go through.
Last place to open? You are wrong in that one because if you do try to check things up then majority of businesses do already open its doors from different industries including gambling places.

This is why i do disagree into your comment about being on last place yet this rather been prioritize by most government yet these business generates up tax which is more than or do compare to other
businesses that exist.

When in comes in talks on how this industry then no one can give out exact or precise number but its sure that it is really big if we do only just base up on the demand.
I do not know how things are in your country but where I live places where massive gatherings happen are still closed and will be the last businesses to open according to the government and casinos are among them so what I am saying is true at least where I live, and this is because even if those places can generate a lot of revenue and tax for the government they are afraid that if they open those places to the public the pandemic is going to get out of control.

The sad thing is that there are not so many trustworthy and long running gambling sites like this is. But that is the guarantee they will survive and attract even more players if they keep that way. I always prefere ti stick to the sites like this one where I know I have quality and security instead of trying new ones all the time thinking they will offer something more.

That's really big value when calculated in terms of USD. Regularly we get to see more and more number of casinos and sports betting websites with cryptocurrency acceptance. The gambling market too contributes big to the economy directly and indirectly. As siad in the quote this trend will surely increase over the years.

If being calculated to USD and which ATH of bitcoin might it be? but yes we can all agree that this industries is keeps
on growing and the money that's involve are already huge, everything now is based from how the market continues to
grow and it's a continuous process and more will be added from time time as long as there are business that continue
to established.

The trend started in 2014, so probably it was already increased by a big number now considering we have a lot of operating crypto casinos now compared to the past, maybe x10, so that would be 30 btc per minute, which is equals to 280,000 usd, not impossible figure since we are just talking of the amount of bets, not the actual amount casinos are making.
