Casinos industry in the web is very large now. It might even bigger than the physical casinos.
The gambling industry has, like many other industries, been largely overtaken by the online market, and, although gambling in land-based casinos still exists, it has opened the door to a growing market because people can gamble from home at any time and avoid travel and being seen. This also brings other problems, because problem gamblers have the vice available at any time from their mobile and consequently it is much more difficult to quit.

Not surprised by the statistics and the numbers, I mean even before the pandemic online gambling industry is booming. But during the Covid-19 lockdowns, every gambler stays at home and obviously they can still continue to do their gambling activity when mobile devices such as cell phones, PC/Laptop and tablets.

And in this community alone, we have seen a boom as well with gambling related signature campaigns <...>

With the lockdowns there was a booming of online activities in general. It was especially noticeable with gambling and what you say about the signature campaings, although it is true that they are very important nowadays in the forum, it has been like that for a long time. Both with bitcoin and in the forum, gambling has played a very important role and I think the current price and the market cap owe a lot to it.

I think that one of the Things that made casinos and betting houses so famous and necessary was the pandemic that forced many to go to casinos to try their luck, the Lack of employment made many choose to earn money this way, and as for the blockades, I think that any blockade of people for living in countries that are considered "forbidden" is something that has no name, they cannot Belittle people for being in a certain part of the globe, in crypto there should not be no restrictions for anyone, this should not exist, the more there are casinos like this, the less chance of success they will have in the future.

Yes online casinos were making waves before the Corona virus but it can never comepare  to what is happening in the industry. I Know that for year to come the industry will be on it highest peak where everyone will be using online only instead of using analog method of playing games. We thank God for the new technology which make things easier than ever.
It is a fact, things here can be visualized in a very correct way when taken in a very peculiar way, for example with the coronavirus it was all very violent, because the only thing that survived was the option of making money online or doing money through online games, the casinos were the protagonists here, and that cannot be denied, in this sense many gaming companies were born, others that are not about games, but that in general terms gave a new notice so that it could give and develop everything. I don't see any other way that could happen, because in the pandemic there were many who Lost their jobs.

Lots had been mainly affected out when that pandemic hits on which lay-offs and closed down businesses is really that rampant or really that on excessive manner on which it did result on losing tons of jobs

for those who do have. Ending up? If you dont able to find some alternative on that particular time then you're really that fucked up but if you do able to find one online then you would definitely survive.
During that time on which it is really that a tough challenge for everyone on which it is really that something that couldnt really be forgotten on which a certain situation in life we do able to reach it out.
As for gambling then online ones becomes significant on that time since most people are really that in the comfort of their own home, which means that to those people who had been dealing with
physical casinos are really that going into online just to met up their gambling or leisure needs. Doesnt matter if we do talk or speak about crypto or fiat based casinos because they are really
just the same if we do speak about industry. There's no doubt that the numbers are becoming more bigger and bigger as the years passing by which it isnt a surprising thing.

Yes, each can't replace the other but let's admit it, online gambling help us survive during the pandemic time. They are very effective as alternative to the physical gambling. There are risks in online gambling but that can be prevented. One of it is to be scammed by the casino.

We don't need to rush but we must look for feedbacks first if this casino here is truly legit or not. In case something bad happens to us like we lost our funds. We can try to report them to the gambling authorities including here on our forum. I already saw lots of successful stories here where a gamblers account have been recovered or their funds have been returned.
The pandemic changed everything, people realized how frail was the world they were living and with that realization came a sense of doing what they could to live a normal life under those circumstances, and gambling online was one of the ways in which those people learned to cope with the situation, after all we must not forget there was nothing to watch on TV as no new shows were being produced, sport competitions were suspended and only old shows were aired, so people desperate to find some sort of excitement on their lives used online gambling to deal with this.

Hence why online casinos became a trend and the pandemic even paved a way for these casinos to be a much bigger industry than what it is a decade ago. And just like you guys have said, people did not have that much option about finding past time and a sort of entertainment at that time as there is no radio to hear and no television shows to see as people are barred to go outside their house. Even now, online casinos are still booming and we here knows that very well as we did notice a lot of casinos surfaced that wanted a promotion from us.

It is true psychical casinos cannot be replaced as a great deal of people like the atmosphere they can find there and they also like to interact with other gamblers in a more personal manner, something impossible to do online at the moment, however it is also true that our society is becoming more digital as we speak and that younger gamblers have a preference for online gambling, so I expect that physical casinos will take the hint and develop their own apps and websites and go digital as well.
It is undeniable that the growth of online casinos has really outpaced everything and for the first time it has increased during the pandemic I think everyone is aware of that. Even though offline casinos still exist, with the ease of access, many of them have switched to online casinos. Broadly speaking, the impact is quite significant, people prefer access in closed houses and can only be controlled by themselves. For both fiat gambling and casino, the promotion is currently getting excited, starting from the advertisements that appear and the notifications via cellphones that are rampant.

If it is said negatively, this is clearly more to the individual himself, who is able or not to control gambling depending on his decision.
The notification system on smartphones is probably the best thing that happened to casinos and to many other business, before they had to spend a great deal of time and effort to promote themselves, and while they still do so now they can send their promotions directly to their clients and remind them about their promotions with that system and their clients will at least take a glance at those promotions, this is much better than what happened with emails, but at the same time it can be a source of distress for those that were addicted to gambling and which are trying to leave it behind.

And after the emergence of many online casinos, it was not accompanied by awareness from the public not to be affected by gambling, which made the old problem, namely gambling addiction, occur everywhere. Playing from home through online casinos makes them more susceptible to gambling addiction and if that happens to people who don't have self-control, it will be even more dangerous because they don't realize that they have a gambling addiction.

And this indeed depends on the individual himself. But most people will sink more and more into gambling because they don't know how to stop gambling for a while. We should use gambling only as a means of entertainment and not to make money because it would be a waste for most people.

I think its undeniably big nowadays because we can observe big sponsorships happening around between online gambling platforms and many sports teams and athletes. 10-15 years ago people would be surprised to see these kind of things happening. Anyways it's pretty normal. When you can gamble from your home or workplace or even a park, why wouldn't you? When you lift these invisible borders it was obvious online gambling getting bigger. I think it didn't even reach its peak. Smart phones will make it more and more popular.

In addition, we now have crypto sportsbook joining the already growing industry and with the force they're coming with, they are already dominating  as most of the big money sponsorship in sports are now crypto related gambling sites and it will keep growing.

Crypto casinos are having a competition with in each other as they're looking for which site can have the most impact and get the customer to gamble using their site. Crypto casino aren't regulated so they can be started more easily compared to the others.

Cryptocurrency has also help the industry as it has made deposit and withdrawal almost instant and these are the things that make people want to use crypto gambling sites over the others and they're contributing to how big the industry is becoming.
Yes, the competition is brutal, but when we see the competitions, contests, bonuses, all the casinos are the best for having those bonuses, those promotions, but when we realize what they represent or what they offer, it is not convenient for me personally I've only seen some promotions that I liked even though I don't have a chance to win there, like in the case of the Art contest offered by Roobet, it's something great, everyone has a chance to win, there are also other types of contests they do In the casinos that is from an avatar, that is also a great option, these types of things are the ones that should be focused on.

Some promotions are only being run just to attract more players and their strategies has been common and to be honest, some gamblers are used to it and they already know how bonuses and promotions work so it won't attract them easily. In the increasing competition in the gambling industry, I think it would be best if they would think of new strategies to promote their sites. I agree that running contest is an effective idea, especially the art contest because it encourages the gamblers to be more creative and they could also show their skills which could benefit both the participants and the casino. It could have a huge impact on the casino community and they could also maintain a good reputation by running an encouraging and interesting contest for promotion. Through those contests, I've seen how artistic and creative participants are. Their artwork could also be an instrument to attract players and investors.

it's not just matter of Covid or famous brands related physical casinos.

Some sites related gambling are realizing enormous number since a while, and they are also fine to not be quoted in a stock market ... one example above all is bet365 !
470 millions of British Pound as revenue (before taxes).

These values are pretty the same for other big players in crypto gambling... Stake has similar numbers (at least as yearly revenue).
it is clear that physical casinos remain something special only for a portion of the population (wealthy and with a physical access to these places!).

On the other hand, online casinos with their gaming options (for example, you can play even a fraction of a cent, at any time, from any device, even without having to give your personal data) represent a winning scheme....

I don't buy this argument that online casinos can replace the physical casinos. I have been to both, and the experience with them is completely different. Both of them have their own advantages and disadvantages. The biggest disadvantage with online casinos is that they can disappear suddenly without any warning. And when that happens, all of your deposits and winnings are gone. In case of physical casinos, at least you can follow up at their office. But for these online casinos, there is no such option. The website registration will be in some remote Caribbean island and even the address provided will be fake. Once they vanish, there is hardly any chance that you will be able to trace them.

Physical or land-based casinos were always famous, but online casinos got famous due to Covid-19 that caused the pandemic and made people realize that they can even gamble online if they don't get to go to the physical casinos somehow, and now, the online gambling industry has been growing at an unprecedent pace and will continue to do that.

But, there is obviously no denying the fact that physical casinos will always exist as long as there are people who like the thrill of a land-based casino, and physical casinos will always have customers as long as they placed at places where people go to enjoy just like Las Vegas.

No, a rich gambler does give the casino more profit since they gamble a lot of money at once so even if they don't gamble for a month or so after that, the casino had already got enough from them from that single session. A regular and low-rolling gambler cannot give the casino the equivalent of what a high roller gives them in one sitting.

So basically, even though the low and mid rollers are more in quantity, casinos earn way more profit from their high-rollers and that is the reason why they provide them with perks and stuff every now and then so that they stick with them.
Which explains why casinos give such a preference to those gamblers as they know that gaining just a few of those customers is enough for them to make incredibly profits, the problem is that as you may guess those whales are the most difficult to satisfy as they can play at any casino and receive VIP treatment, so it can be difficult for casinos to keep those whales gambling at their casino even if they make their utmost effort to please them.

I don't understand why a casino would aim to get customers or gamblers from a certain class and why won't they aim to get gamblers from every class. A small casino would also want to have rich gamblers use their platform and getting them would obviously be their first priority since that brings in more profits and more opportunities for them to grow.

So what casinos basically want is people that have money with them, whether they are rich or poor or from the middle class, they don't care. All they need is someone sitting on a table or in front of a pc or having a smartphone, placing bets on one of the games, because that is what keeps their business running.
One thing is to note how do casinos or sports betting companies make money from their gambling sites? As far as I know if more users will get by any casino, will earn more. It's not like a rich gambler can give that casino more profit. Because if the rich man loses a big money he may not play again the next day. However, those who conduct gambling operations regularly, even if they are small, act as the main driving force of the casino or betting platform.

online casinos can never replace physical casinos, but we cannot deny that technological developments are increasingly sophisticated and all types of gambling are summarized as one in this sophisticated technology and become online gambling sites that can be reached by anyone and from any country. and physical casinos will remain popular in countries where gambling is legal or permitted in those countries but in countries where gambling is prohibited it will be very unlikely to become popular. even though on the one hand many gamblers are in countries where gambling is prohibited, they can only go to gamble through online sites so they can still gamble without the state knowing about it.
so online casinos and physical casinos will still be popular in the foreseeable future, it's just that both will be popular in certain sections as I said before. so there's no difference between online casinos and brick and mortar casinos.

Your statement is quite logical. Those who are used to physical casinos will definitely conduct gambling by reaching the place and there is less financial risk especially in withdrawing money. There will be differences between online gambling and physical presence gambling. All online casinos are not yet well established. Gambling on those platforms are not to say that they will not be disappeared at any time. But in this case the popular sites are different and quite dependent. All I want to say is that the two platforms have a different experience. So a gambler can take a decision considering various opportunities and benefits as per their wish.

This is really huge. What I've worried about is those under 18 who are into gambling and would be prone to addictions, which means they would commit crimes or steal some money. As I've also noticed how rampantly the influencers in social media are posting this, and what I've worried about is that those influencers are showing that it is easy to win on those platforms, like just betting this and for sure you'll win. Someone also approached me, my cousin, who is under age, asking about money that he will pay back once he wins on that specific platform, and I am really worried about him.
No need to worry, even your cousin accept the offer and give his money to that scammer, your cousin will learn about fake investment and it should be a good lesson for him to not trust any stranger. Well there's no way to verify if the gambler is underage as long as he's not submit his KYC and there's a chance if he use another person KYC who's older than him e.g. brother, uncle, father etc.

He definitely use his mothers ID when doing KYC on some gambling platforms but lucky to him he listen on my advice not to invest those platform as I've heard yesterday that gambling casino that was really promoted by the local influencer said that they got closed and lock withdrawals also there are incidents that because they connect their online wallet to the casino their funds got transferred though it is not 100% confirm that the casino do it but they said that it is the only platform they used recently.
I agree with you it is better not to share your information while gambling. This awareness of gambling has become a major consideration for many countries and there is a lot of support available to prevent gambling harm. Apart from the strict laws and self-exclusion schemes of kyc sites, block gambling transactions are an effective solution to reduce the chances of becoming an addicted player. There are features that allow blocking their account for gambling transactions.

Marketing  and publicity  has been one of the greatest  tools of the gambling industry and one of the factors  that contributed  to the massive boom of the online gambling  industry  was the outbreak of the covid-19 pandemic as a result of the global lockdown which made people dice into gambling massively online and ever since then. The online gambling industry has taken full advantage of this and has been making use of it.

The online gambling is really big and I wouldn't be shocked seeing it competing with the oil industry because I get shocked at the kind of figures people loss daily to casinos and still want to get involved. One major  they are winning now is using trusted and very famous celebrities to gain trust of people and I also see the online Gambling industry as one of the very fast renovating industry.
