To think of it critically , government will do a lot in further development of bitcoin by legalizing its acceptance in the country. This will make a lot of people involved in it , it will increase its usage , acceptance and exposure. This is one of the major movement that will make bitcoin soar high to reach its goal.

It's not that easy as you think just by merely announcing that your country will support cryptocurrencies is way different if the government has really done anything to do with it. We have seen it in the past, a government will announce big project or give promises only to find out that there are actually no real developments backing it up. For the "development" to take place the government needs to really show the support physically by action and not only words coming out from their mouth.

At present bitcoin has become widely known, but its existence still clashes with regulations made by the government. Government can play important role in the development of bitcoin by introduce or making policies that increase the general acceptability of the cryptocurrency. For example, Banks are control by the Central Banks which is own by the Government. Central bank can make policy that sees all the bank trading and exchanging fiat for crypto and vice versa. This mean that many people will have privileges to obtain even loan with low interest and also make transaction easily.

Bitcoin has become bitcoin without government. Now that it has become popular, little by little it is being recognized in many parts of the world but many countries, altho they recognize bitcoin already, still refuse to accept to legalize it or not or if to regulate them is good for them or not. Governments are still confused if they are ready to embrace bitcoin to start cashless society because of the banking system involving in the government society.

Definitely! they do play an important role for the growth and acceptance of bitcoin in a country. Citizens will listen and follow their orders instead of people and society that they aren't aware of its existence.
Community and gov't both plays an important role. We as part of the community are the ones who have been using, dealing and looking for solutions on how can bitcoin be used in so many ways. And once the gov't recognizes it, they don't have to regulate, they just have to support and tell their stand about it, positively.

..I think both of the two factors,,the community and the Government plays an important role in the development of bitcoin..Community.people who engage in the use of Bitcoin have the most important part in the develooment of it,,without the community and the people who uses it,Bitcoin is useless..Government.if the state will going to adopt and legalized the use of Bitcoin,then the mandate on the use of Bitcoin will increase in volume because many preoole are now patronizing the use of Bitcoin in their lives,but there are still consequenses when Government will take part on crypto usage because crypto is decentralize,if Government will involve, maybe decentralize exchange will now become centralize.

If any government wants to contribute in cryptocurrency, that will not be anymore decentralized and we will again force to be the slave of government. Govt will try to controll everything in that case.

Typically like this story, the government will support bitcoin and crypto but in return, we will be helping the government, more precisely, we will pay taxes to the government, and government rules will be very tight, we will be hard to make money normally, and so I think that I don't need government help for bitcoin, bitcoin will still grow without participation from the government.Well as the saying goes, you really can't have it all. A government's decision can make or break btc usage in a certain country. There should be a compromise or a middle ground for btc to really progress without challenges from the government.

If government legally announces bitcoin as their legal currency it will really help for faster adoption from the people but there is no necessary to be accepted by government because bitcoin developed against the government for past years so it means it can be accepted by people gradually even without much help grom legalization. When you are the regulator then you control the flow. Government to bitcoin. That’s a reality that we’ve seen for years now as Japan (acceptance of cryptocurrency) and China (strict regulations) has a big impact on its people’s investment movement.

I do not think it is the devopment but it is on the adoption. Development of Bitcoin depends on its developer, but the adoption will be greatly affected by the government if they accept it or not. We all see in the previous years that when a government accepted Bitcoin in their country, people accept it also and merchants starts to trust Bitcoin. So government is crucial for Bitcoin adoption but Bitcoin development depends on its developer.

The government did not create bitcoin and we cannot perceive that they have an effect to its development. The government can only intervene in the external influence of cryptocurrencies and its price- which mainly affects every investor or person who has a share of bitcoin.

Since a government's authority is very suppressive in every field, effect of government on bitcoin is tremendeous. Governments do not let adaptation of bitcoin without controlling it. Thus, we need to time to realize adaptation of bitcoin without losing its independence.

Take your time to review government stands against cryptocurrency and you will understand that the play no role in the development of bitcoin in fact the only role the government is ready to play is a negative role due to bitcoin decentralized nature. Both represent a very important role. Is very important that governments regulate bitcoin so that:
- We can see the exchanges respect our rights
- The exchange will provide good service
- we will reduce the number of scam ICOs
- We will see the scammers being punished for their crimes
- We can see many merchants accepting bitcoin as a means of payments worldwide
- We can buy and sell bitcoin without any problem
- We will not have problems with the banks.
