I would rather put it as 'crypto can help local communities whether it is through btc or other alts, the single act of getting involved in Cryptocurrency is a life changing opportunity for many, it is no longer secret that even some government officials are interested in btc and crypto, some have their paycheck in btc,
Once it is encouraged, more local communities will do business with crypto and experience the true meaning of financial freedom.

It is spread all over the world. Bitcoin is traded all over the world. It is a very, very good initiative. With Bitcoin, we can get a lot of opportunities. It is very easy to transact through it.  As the price of Bitcoin went up in 2017, so did the price in 2021. It reached around 70,000. Now it has 65,000.

Nah, you do not need a thread for it. Just share us the result after it succeeds and we would be happy to cherish your success of your friend's mining community in his village.  Here in my community, I doubt that they even know what cryptocurrencies are and I already have the doubts that they are going to look into it anyway.
Mining is popular in my country considering that everyone is buying GPU for ETH, but here exactly in my area? Nah, they'll pass.

Bitcoin is empowering local communities a little bit around the world. Native American communities have been stripped from their land and are struggling hard to escape poverty. This time is Bitcoin who is helping the Navajo people. West Block a Canadian mining company requested the Navajo nation to allow them for energy for a Bitcoin mine on Navajo land back in 2017. The company is currently employing 2 workers but has grown and is looking to have its operations increased to have 11 workers which will be hired among the community. The company is not only generating wealth for the community but is also providing them jobs and financial inclusion. This is the true nature of the potential bitcoin has to give back the power to people.

Everybody and every community can benefit from Bitcoin! It's good that BC serves all people; just buy it and hold it.

Actually, crypto is a chance for poor people to earn money. Even if you don't have capital to invest, you can invest your time and play NFT games or participate in different airdrops, bounties, ambassador programs. It all requires time but if you need money and don't have opportunity to work in other places, it will be the best choice for you. I have heard a lot of news about people from Africa who earned a lot thanks to Axie.

You have made mention of Airdrops, what are the benefits of carrying out Airdrops, how can one get capital out of it.
Have been shared links lately about it, should I give it a trial by performing all of the tasks ?

Of course Bitcoin can help small communities. Many people are satisfied after taking part in cryptocurrencies, whether investing or trading. Therefore, if Bitcoin trading or investment is channeled to small communities and they learn about it, it is not impossible that in the future they can progress. Entering the crypto world does not have to be large capital, the most important thing is that you have the intention and have enough knowledge about crypto. Actually crypto is easy to reach but there are still many people who doubt so they actually lose their golden opportunity.

What your friends are doing is a real form of innovation using bitcoin for the welfare of society. Mining with village power and uniting them to be equally involved in the mining process with shared profits.
I even recently heard of village groups starting to mine as you describe.

the power to unite the community and develop a bitcoin mining project in your friend's village is a tangible manifestation that the village community wants to move forward and can keep up with the times. all parties will benefit and get their respective benefits.

Maybe you can make a thread about bitcoin mining in the village that your friends do. because it's very interesting.

im not sure to make a thread, but he really use the opportunity to recruit as many as he can. thats hard to start, but he ask from his family with different house, than just spread to his neighbour. not only younger, but some older start and already know how to do it.
and it can be positive income for them, not only by work offline, also getting salary from online.

but the big question is that , did the company really helping the Navajo community or it is them who is benefiting maximum in this situation ?

employing that small amount of worker does not really reflect in what the point of this thread, at least helping the local by providing jobs and financial aid for the majority and not just for few.

But at least this brings Job and that is the most important thing.

The incident mentioned in the opening post is a way how bitcoin have benefited a community through some means. The same won't happen with other communities. They are in need of the proper location for the mining firm and when the business got widened people of that community is given the opportunity to work on it. Similar way of providing opportunities weren't possible everywhere. As of now the sources that pay bitcoin is very limited.

In my understanding there needs to be someone who is good at technology. In some parts of the world Tribes used to create decorative products that can't be made elsewhere. Those things can be added for trade and the profit can be given to the tribes life uplifting.

That number is kind of small but in a way, it provides some income for a few community members and in turn take the family off hunger and possible crime should they be paid good. Its a plus for them.

Though, when it comes to bitcoin and native or rural communities, its somehow a problem. Most individuals that resides there are often aged forks or persons that aren't so learned and are not privileged to own suffisticated devices (as I know it with a few African communities) looking at the way technology has advanced. So, the stip growth of the system poses a problem and unfortunately, we can't help it but only hope they benefit indirectly from means such as above and the employment opportunities funds generated from bitcoin investments can create.

El Salvador has struggled to empower its country by reviving the people's economy with bitcoin, it was a big decision from El Salvador to support bitcoin. Not only society, the state will also benefit from bitcoin. There are many other countries that are starting to struggle to financially prosper society, but they find it difficult to regulate bitcoin as a legal currency so trading and investing and mining is the solution to earn income.
correct some of the country struggling but the fact that someone stopping them to adapt bitcoin is the common reason its still very impossible for them as well to have freedom and chances to change their current status using of this very optimistic asset. So all i can say is government is very unfair wherein they all just relying where they can get benefits but when it comes to the community they all ignore it.. Very biased! They're are the true whales when it comes the in real life.

I think bitcoins can help local companies to expand their business as well. When we are taking about local communities what we can see is immense potential, regarding local crafts and many more things and people generally remain unrecognized since the middle man usually takes away the bulk of profit. This is actually what happens in many Asian countries, they have a lot to offer but unfortunately a lot of corruption and huge gap in MRP and the price that are paid to be local people. ( Plus they can go international as well)
Using cryptos like bitcoins could be a great idea, they can set up their things online, which would ofc need help from other tech savvy people but at the end of the day they can have a full blown business. During quarantine, local communities are what's supporting the whole Nation therefore I do think this is what they have been missing so far. An essential tool to bridge the gap.

Anthony Pompliano just posted a video on the Navajo mining Bitcoin. The Navajo are mining with clean energy produced from solar panels installed in their own land. Apart from stepping ahead towards their economical independence, the Navajo are also setting an example by going 100% solar with their mining operations.
Would really be that feasible? Considering the cost of solar panels and how much you've be needing specially on replacing  battery if you do  intently mine for 24 hours then

i would say that its just too nonsense on making some mining operation if you do know that ROI would be longer but if its for the sake of interest then its considerable.
Aside from mining  part there are various ways on which you could  really take advantage on this  market it is just  depending on someone on how they'll  do it.

If they are doing it, it is because it is feasible. Thing is, they have found the right companies and made the right partnerships to get this going. I guess the initial cost for getting a BTC mining operation going 100% solar it a lot higher than running on a grid, but on the long run it is a far better investment

we can't deny the fact that during this pandemic period, a lot of people here benefited  with their knowledge of crypto. either by bounty programs, or using their skills in programming, artworks ect they used their skills or knowledge how to earn crypto during these challenging times and augment their source of income.
Exactly, crypto really helps many people. We know how hard the condition and financial systems were during this pandemic. I am personally really blessed that I know the crypto industry before this pandemic so that I still can earn income during this hard time.
And this is only a small example of how crypto can help many communities in the world.
I am sure that many bigger communities are coming here and gaining many more profits and benefits from the crypto industry.
Moreover, crypto doesn't limit anyone to join. Whoever wants to learn and work and have involved in this activity, they are welcome.
This industry shows that it is a very good field in the time of the pandemic, the workforce has never shown any signs of reduction and only shows signs of increasing, supports quite a few people who are already unemployed but compared to the actual volume, this rate is not too high and to be honest, every community around the world has only a small group of people who like crypto. Although called there is no age limit and can start from zero but bitcoin is no longer in the early years of welcome, wanting help requires pre-existing capacity, not a blank sheet of paper and asking for support

Months ago, Bitcoin mining activities helped to save one water factory in the USA in the wave of Great hashpower migration from the East to the West after China crackdown.

When and where there are new companies, new activities appear, new jobs will be available. It is what occurring when Bitcoin mining is spreading to more nations, more remote local areas worldwide.

It really gives more opportunities to the local people especially when they build a huge bitcoin mining facility, they will need people to maintain it. More likely it will be best for the countries that do not have many jobs for their citizens. Bitcoin mining facility will surely be another job list for them. However, if they build another program that will benefit everyone from bitcoins, that would be great. especially those people who do not qualify for technical jobs that required experience.

The benefit must be global, but ultimately the regions are giving effervescence little by little with Bitcoin in many ways, some creative or informal, others under the scheme of formal entrepreneurs.

Yes. In fact mining generates a source of work, but in reality, I believe that the real benefit  this case is to give the knowledge and finance the Navajo people to make themselves experts. Let's be honest here there is money interest, Win-win does not exist in the equivalence of 50-50, never.

Why they do not leave the Navajo people with knowledge and the ability to pay for loan at least in first instance.
