In the middle of 2015, I first learned about bitcoin. My first thought was basically, "It's a fraud!" and I ignores it. I clearly recall thinking that cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) was a Ponzi scheme in 2015 when a buddy first introduced it to me. So, one day when I was browsing YouTube, I came across a video that was clearly explaining the idea of Bitcoin and the Blockchain network. Wow, this is wonderful, I thought. I went online to obtain more resources to help me since I was intrigued and found the use of Bitcoin to be increasingly fascinating. Now that I know more about how it operates, I'm thinking about investing in it. I ponder getting a loan from the bank even though I don't have enough cash on hand, but I later decide that's not the wisest course of action, due to the danger involved in an uncertain situation. I went and told my uncle about Bitcoin. I informed him that this was a new method of generating income. He was first reluctant to invest in it, but I persisted and even made a pledge to accept responsibility for whatever transpired. Life is all about taking risks, he added, so I wasn't worried about losing it all. I simply wanted to give it a shot. He offered me a sizable sum of money to put in Bitcoin while the price was low, but when it skyrocketed, I thought about selling it out so we could profit greatly from it. I've been a millionaire since 2015, and my uncle is too.

Thank you for this! This makes me motivate more in this forum! I'm still a newbie and still don't have getting earnings here but I still do my best to get some money here. That's why I always make sure to post good quality content in this forum.

We shouldn't doubt him if he says he is a millionaire and also his uncle is. A millionaire can still be doing bounty hunting as a hobby or used to engage in the forum.
Another point is that he didn't specify the kind of million, he could be a  SatMillionaire which should be the recognised millionaire in the forum. He could also be a millionaire in their local currency which could be equivalent to 0.0004 dollars.
...
Having said that, what i definitely disagree on is that they could probably be into bounty hunting as a hobby, who loves dumping tweets on twitter or making multiple posts on FB, TG and other socia media handles, coupled with bounty reports right after it all. The forum is for Bitcoin, crypto and other whatnot discussions, thus bounty campaigns is no way to engage in the forum, interacting and contributing to quality discussions is the way to do it, and you can then earn through signature campaigns whilsts doing thus.
Lol... I was just trying to pull up defence line for OP. The story line of OP is somehow strange if we should be honest. I cannot think of any person who invested in bitcoin as far back as 2015 and made money from it who is still the forum doing bounty hunting.
If it is Engaging in conversations and interacting with people, that will be fine because here is so educative. But sharing links on a daily bases is not to be considered.

It’s ironic that you realized Bitcoin is not Ponzi yet you advertised it to your imaginary uncle same as ponzi due to the profit that you are claiming instead of explaining to him how Bitcoin will revolutionize the world of finance. The story is not credible too because there’s no uncle in the world that will give you huge sum of money to invest on something that he didn’t know aside from your promise that it will grow in the future eventually.
I can't even imagine the kind amount of money his uncle gave to him that make him and his uncle a million. In fact For even how many years did he invested in bitcoin or did he think people in the forum are that stupid to the length that his can lie for and convince them with aim to get merit

Also you will not doing a bounty hunting and post this kind of too good to be true story if you are a millionaire since then because you will be busy managing your money instead of doing task here in the forum to gain cents on bounty.

I don't really know what a millionaire will be doing with Bounty? A millionaire that is searching for shitcoins and tokens. what a pity.

Bitcoin is too much volatile and when the start of it they always think that this is just a scam like the other investment with that year but still some of people keep trusting Bitcoin and make a good profit at, the end of the bitcoin gives you a good profit other people do not.
(.....)
This is very normal even on non-bitcoin assets. Most of the time in the early stage of a project, a lot of people will not believe it, but as time goes by, when a project proves something, that's the time people start to become curious, it's like a bandwagon. Most of these people also lack of researching, they just talk and talk.
OP's case, it's one example of becoming a risk taker and a believer.

The OP could quite rightly be a millionaire in their local currency that prolly wouldn't mean much, and i might also agree with you that even despite the fact that the story looks flat out fake, there is a slim chance they aren't telling lies.

I guess with those number of years of experience, you are now getting wise with your assets.

Wow! You both have been very lucky with bitcoin. I just thought that i could have been in the same foot if I never doubted bitcoin way back then. But I was too skeptical that time that I put my money in other business but it turned out not good. So now, I don’t want to waste my money anymore on other businesses and just focus on bitcoin by accumulating more. I know I could still make it but definitely, this might be a long way to go, lot of losses first before I will step in the same foot with you.

It is unbeliaveable to hear that you became a millionaire in 2015 as  you learned about bitcoin in 2015. That time there was no future trading options too. So how can we believe that you became a millionaire on the same year you heard about it when there was not held a big pump in 2015. If you bought btc in the lowest price and sold it in the highest price then you just made a little price which is not a million.
That is what I was saying as well.  If they became a millionaire it means they had to invest at least a few good hundred thousand dollars at the right time.  This story otherwise makes no sense.

I'm sure the story is just a hoax.
Why did you have to fabricate a story to come impress us with.

People do it all the time, people see the internet as a means to present themselves as something they're not. Hardly do you find people telling the truth over the internet that's why you're advise to be skeptical about everything you read online, it's just like the online traders we see all over social media claiming to be professional traders and making outrageous gains meanwhile they barely know how to trade but just love the online attention they get of been rich and famous.

We have similar stories on the forum, if you read through this thread now you'll find out that majority of the stories been told here are  just hoax. Usually thread like this which are generic in nature are always full of hoax stories since they're no means to verify any story been told here. Be skeptical about everything you read unless those with some backing through evidences.

In the middle of 2015, I first learned about bitcoin.

Wait a moment. Are you sure that you learned about bitcoin in 2015? If yes, Then It took couple of months to learn about trading.

The lowest closing price for Bitcoin (BTC) in 2015 was $178.10, on January 14, 2015.

As you learned about btc in 2015, So Before investing you must took some months to learn it well. And you missed the lowest price. You were looking for loan and later you didn't take it, so I think you invested little money.

So, until now I have read a lot of interesting stories and confessions on this forum, but your story is really something special.
What is not clear to me is what you have your million in, in what currency?
If you had a million dollars, I believe you wouldn't waste your time on bounty campaigns on this forum.
Do you maybe have a million satoshis?  Grin Grin
In that case, you still have a long way to go to the wealth you hope for. Good luck on that journey.
But thanks for the very interesting story you shared.  Cheesy

Proof or it didn't happen. In Bitcoin, we don't trust, we verify. LOL! So, how can we verify that the story you're sharing here is true?

Anyway, your definition of Bitcoin that it is a "a new method of generating income" after you claimed to have already learned and understood about it is probably unacceptable to a lot of Bitcoin supporters.

Also, how could your uncle entrust you "a sizable sum of money" to be invested in something he doesn't even know? And without a single penny invested, you were given a million by your uncle? Which particular currency is this? Is this a million in Indonesian rupiah or Cambodian riel or what?

Maybe we lost in translation or is it just a made-up story since there was no bull run during the 2015 it only happen when there's a halving/after the halving. While looking at your recent post you seemed to be stuck in bounties even though you said you were a millionaire back then. Everything you've said doesn't make sense or it doesn't lineup accordingly to what you've said.

I wouldn't doubt if you were a millionaire or not but it just doesn't make sense at all. Plus, taking loan to invest is not a guaranteed profit if you are talking about risk, that's just too much of a risk to wage on whatever collateral you are using.

What did you do on your million? Im assuming its on $ right, but when I checked your profile history it seems that you are still doing bounty hunting for tokens. This is quite weird instead of doing that might learn on trading or put some of that cash on business instead. Thats a lot of money already to do free hunting tokens.

Maybe still trying to hit some gold on ocean of scams, many people still doing this that's why bounty campaign still alive eventhough there are so many complains about they are not getting paid by many of them.

There are few guys got bankrupt after they earn millions because they still decide to invest what they earn but unfortunately got scam or get affecter by bear market condition. For sure many learn a lot of lesson about this and thinking about creating business on their earned money on crypto, this is really more better for future security.

Bitcoin is consistently improving the lives of people around world on daily basis , both in terms of job opportunities , investment , trading and has improved the freedom of people as never before, people literally Can travel around the world with their money their with them anytime any day. Bitcoin is a life changing opportunity and the best investment opportunity of our 21st generation.

Of course bitcoin makes me have the earning power from outside my main job. It helped my family live better. Assisted in the birth of my first child, helped my marriage. So bitcoin made a good impact for me.
I don't find many people failing to invest in Bitcoin. From the few I've read Bitcoin has had a good impact on its owners. They can improve the quality of life. But there may be a small percentage who fail and don't want to try it again, and he says Bitcoin has left him devastated and at a loss.

You did raise a point, he didn't say $ he said just millionaire.
So, if he is indeed from Nigeria, 1 million would be around 2000 euros, which is a pretty doable thing even with a very small loan and a 2x increase in price.
But at the same time, it's not that much of an improvement and life-changing event either.
Oh maybe he is really a millionaire but not in $. Cause that would be really shame to do bounty knowing you already got a million dollar.

Maybe we can say for him thats a life changing or at least improve of his life. Not all can earn very huge profit thats why I was just confuse with the currency and the million word.
