Currently I think the change is really yet because the gaint social media services are yet to adopt the blockchain technology so I can’t really see any changes it has made on social media maybe little impact on internet. Great impact will come when these faint social media service the blockchain technology. Then we will see many changes as it has been said that Facebook is going to create its own coin. This is going to make much impact in social media and internet generally.

The global community today is depending on the big social media like facebook, twitter, and Instagram and I don't think that all of the people really interested in the rewarding value that blockchain could offer. The reason why social media are used by the people just because they know that the people on their circles also uses that social media app/site and it would connect them together.

They don't need the rewards, they only needed to save their memories and ability to share with their friends!

We can say that various sites are adapting to work out its centralized space to decentralized space, people can choose to take it or not it is up to the hype and most people would surely like to use the internet in redefining their ways of convenience with their life, I really think most people nowadays would want to work in the comfort of their home or just want a home base work, And I am seeing many opportunities that applying decentralized option for them to earn, I think there are some people in the community would like to simply earn even with a small amount they will certainly grab it, So I think blockchain can really make it different in the future and many people would want to get involved in it if there are earning involve.

I don't think blockchain is having any significant impact on the way we share social media content whatsoever. The only significant impact, as far as I can see, has been in the financial sector. I'm open to having my mind changed, but from my current vantage point, only blockchains based on tokens like BTC/ETH/XMR currently matter in the world.
Do really you know what are you saying? just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it isn't there.

Blockchain are already shook the world of Internet and it's just a matter of time until this big social medias migrate their data using it.

Blockchain was only overhyped thru social media. It did not change anything inside social media.
You can see that major social media for the last time are banning everything they can and trying to censor everything that they think can be related to terrorism, hate speech etc.
Everyone is thinking about how to ban "harmful" information and not about the free speech and remaining all content originally unchanged.

The title of the article should be more like How could  Blockchain potentially chance social media and internet. Right now none of those 5 ways presented there seem to be applied in our current world.
Neither of Facebook, Google, Netflix, or any other  big company is using Blockchain so until they are actually going to develop their services based on that, Blockchain cannot do much to the internet.
Most of the centralized platform will surely not support Blockchain but they are designing their things just like it and guess what Blockchain is the key to Web 3.0

The internet is becoming more centralized than ever before.  Google is gaining more data which is ultimate power in this world.  At first it was only the search engine but now they dominate browsers and email.  Kind of scary if you really think about it.  Crypto is great but it won't solve these type of problems.

What will drive this technology to introduce new extended layer for social networking apps is privacy. Many companies have problems retaining personal data of users, which are often in the hands of hackers, governments or unwanted third parties.

After the scandal that happened to Facebook[1], a strong trend to move away from the use of social media that manipulate user data without awareness of them.
Also, the freedom to not see/use my personal data makes investing in this type of application promising and my article reinforces the popularity of SnapChat in a short time.

We are now living in the world dominated by the big social media sites and this is not boding well in terms of control, ownership and influence. We need something that is really working for the interest of the people as the primary reason of existence above all else and hopefully the blockchain technology can be helping us towards that goal. This is all about content ownership and how this content and how the monetization of the content can be share with the owners of the content in the first place. I am also looking into the many ways that the blockchain technology can help lessen the prevalence of fake news shared all over social media sites. There are many things that can happen once we utilize the blockchain technology to make social media much better and be responsive to the needs of the people or the very audience they should be serving.

Block chain is originally a mechanism for tracking the digital currency Bitcoin . .Block chain technology  offers an  exciting combination for altering the future of social networking  and is inevitable for a long period of time .The centralized platform dominated the world when decentralized became the main stream, , the social media users have the option of platform from network centralized or decentralized . Social media do not offer a general user the chance to earn but the decentralization offers an ability to earn small amount of cryptocurrency for their online activities and this will attract more users .The internet has connected us and brought the world together and the  social media opened the door for news to spread across the world . Th nature of block chain doesn't need a third party to verify .

I don't think that the changes are global but sure that it has certain influence and we can't deny this. To my mind, it is better to accept btc and its effects on everything around
